After 45 years of being a pet owner I discovered beaches animal hospital a year ago.the level of treatment, compassion and professionalism is truly outstanding. I really believed I was losing miss Maggie to congest of heart failure like I did her sister a few weeks back. The team at beaches animal hospital has turned it around and look at her now

Vanessa Choy was truly horrible on one of the worst days of my life; the staff is truly wonderful and the other vets are also great, but when I brought my elderly dog in for her last appointment she was abrasive, aggressive and having dramatic self righteous reactions about euthanasia, truly horrible and immature reactions; I was going to take my dog home and pay for euthanasia at home but she made me feel awful about taking any extra time. I want her to know that none of her ridiculous behaviour was what convinced me to euthanize that day, my dog told me to let her go. I truly hope nobody else ever has to deal with such an awful egotistical abrasive aggressive self righteous person the day they have to euthanize. I will never forget her awful disgusting behaviour on one of my worst days.

Again the staff was unbelievably wonderful on that day, and I truly appreciate the other vets, but will never go back because I do not want to risk ever seeing that horrible person.are incredible- they will ask about your issue and will fit you in so fast if there is an emergency! They didn’t even have me as a client and took my cat in one day and my dog another day on the same day I called! Their staff is Wonderful, Caring and so compassionate, and I love that they do free ultrasounds- I am so grateful to them and their staff and so grateful they took us in so quickly- truly wonderful caring and compassionate

I went with my Mom and took our pet and I must say, Beaches Animal Hospital was very nice with my mom's cat.

Beaches Animal Hospital is in two words: Top Shelf. Dr Koszti is the best Vet in Toronto, bar none. He is kind and compassionate and my cat, Sweetpea loves him, animals know. The staff there are super helpful, especially Ruth. They don't price gauge by preying on the emotions of their clients towards their pets, quite the opposite. They are more than fair. They work with all their clients, regardless. We are lucky as Torontonians to have such an Amazing Vet Hospital. Many Blessings. ️

Beaches Animal Hospital has been fantastic with both taking care of our family pets (with vaccinations and care) and assisting us in mourning/cremation services of our beloved pets. They are highly responsive and I would highly recommend their services to anyone looking for vetinary services.

My rescue dog got into the trash and needed to have vomiting induced. My regular vet was closing for the evening but recommended Beach Animal Hospital. My dog can be quite anxious. They were fantastic. They were kind, efficient, and took such good care of her. They were thoughtful with everyone in the waiting room. So glad to know they’re there if needed!

I always have a great experience here. My cat Mitten is looked after super well and when she got sick they figured out what was wrong with her and had a treatment plan. My cat can be fussy and she doesn’t like being at the vets but I love how caring all the people who work there are. They have some really great vets that are super knowledgeable and helpful. I have never had a bad experience here. I highly recommend this place for your pets.

I took my friend and three of his puppies here. Based on his experience, he was extremely satisfied with the level of service he received. The puppies were well taken care of and the entire ordeal was smooth and quick. Upon leaving, one of the employees went to extra mile by assisting my friend by carrying a crate of dog food to the car. The staff were very friendly and professional.

I have taken my cats to Beaches Animal Hospital for several years now. They are a wonderful animal/people friendly group. With other clinics I have often felt pressed into unnecessary testing and care - so much so that I have avoided going in except for emergency. At the Beaches Clinic, clear communication always makes me feel included in the decision making and in the end my cats receive the best care. I have complete confidence in all of the staff who work there.

They have been kind and respectful to my old dog throughout his life and during the very difficult last stages of his life. I’m always so grateful I was able to hold my pup during and after surgery and when he had to be put to sleep.

I now have another pet that is also a patient of this hospital. Great staff all around and always happy with their service. From the front desk that will reply to emails or phone calls VERY promptly, the vet techs, and the vets.

The most compassionate veterinary office. Caring and considerate staff and doctor! I was not a patient and on Friday my very ill senior dog took a turn for the the worse. After not being able to get a hold of my vet for two days I started calling local vets and mobile services but everyone was booked. I contacted Beaches Animal Hospital and they were extremely empathetic to my situation. They found a way to see my dog and they handled him with extreme kindness and professionalism. I can’t say enough about this office. I HIGHLY recommend Beaches Animal Hospital and will be switching over to them for all future pet care.

I have been going to beaches for 4 years and have always felt that my dog receives the best care under their staff. Everyone who works there is kind and understanding, going beyond expectations to give your pet the best care possible.

We have had many beloved pets over the years, and for the last 35 plus years, most of our veterinary care experience has been with Beaches Animal Hospital. The patient medical care is consistently superb, the staff across the clinic are kind, understanding and knowledgable, and their loving support is very welcomed when the inevitable happens, and a pet passes. I would like to call out two wonderful vets in particular… Dr. Mark Dilworth, a marvelous vet and so kind, and Dr. Lehel Koszti, again a wonderful vet and kind man. Don’t hesitate to take your pets to Beaches Animal Hospital. They will be in the best of hands.

Beaches Animal Hospital has provided exceptional care for 3 of our pets for over a decade. Mark Dilworth in particular is a wonderful veterinarian and has a measured, compassionate, and intelligent approach to treating pets. Our veterinarian is Dr. Dilworth but on occasion we have seen other veterinarians and were equally pleased with the care. I love my care with Beaches Animal Hospital. I've had a very sick kitten and Beaches have been nothing but wonderful and supportive. I trust my pets in Beaches' hands wholeheartedly. Wonderful! Recently I took my senior dog, Trudy, to Beaches Animal Hospital with a list of concerns. Dr. Koszti listened to me attentively, conducted a thorough, non-evasive examination, professionally shared the results with me and together we established next steps. Test results were given to me at noon the following day. I also received a follow-up call two evenings later. I drove away with tears in my eyes feeling so grateful that my little girl was in such excellent care. This is the service I have come to expect from Beaches Animal Hospital and they have NEVER failed me. Highly recommend.

Beaches Animal Hospital always goes above and beyond in terms of caring for our pets. Dr. Dilworth and team are extremely thorough, kind, thoughtful and treat your pet as if they were their own. The staff at Beaches Animal Hospital lied to a poor person about how much his bill would be, shamed him for being poor, and committed fraud against him and his partner.

I had my dog Puffy in for dental procedure and I had a great experience. Dr Jeff was great with me and my little furry baby. He was nice and really worm when he explain to me the x-ray and the procedure. When I picked up Puffy he was relaxed and not stressed at all and that meant the world to me, that show me that the staff loves animals and do the best to take care of them and the parents too. Recommend Beaches Animal Hospital to everybody. Thank you to all of you!

The staff and veterinarians are very thorough and take time to make sure that all pet parents understand what they are doing and why. They've always been helpful, kind and patient, even through the pandemic. My dog gets special food from them, and they maintained supply and communication about their new systems. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Even though now live further away than when I first went I make a point of driving the extra distance to see them given the quality of care they offer.

Friendly staff, reasonable prices, always ready to take my dogs in for non emergencies! My dogs love the staff, are very happy when they visit.

Beaches Animal Hospital is simply the best and the only vet I would take my Guide Dog. They are wonderful, friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and accommodating. The vets are caring and have the best interests of our companions always at heart. The technicians are amazing and the front desk staff always make us feel welcome no matter how busy they are.

Clinic Friday night - in a whole GTA and surround it was only place were we could get "next day unexpected surgery" to our senior (15 years old, and its was her birth day) cat! If you ever ask about customer service - come here! First call we got in our way to clinic - they were just checking could we find them easily (it was almost after 10 pm on weekend and we've being stressed out)! After our cat was checked in, we got all explanation about procedure. Next day we had a first call at 8 am with overnight update. And I was calling in clinic every couples of hour during the day - any and every call was answered in very welcoming, friendly and caring manner. Late evening, even we already had update after surgery, Dr. Mark Dilworth called by himself and told about how everything was. And by the voice you can say - "Oh this person is very tired", and of course he can relay on reception, but he called to tell us everything is ok! And next (after surgery) day was the same - every time, every call - very friendly respond, with trying to answer for all and any questions. When we checked out - we got a print with recommendations and instructions about medications, medications itself and were asked to call to clinic and report if our cat will eat at home (she was ignoring clinic's food), and again - doesn't matter of what time it will happened! Oh, yes, of course about bill - there was NO any surprise, NO "additional" unexpected tests, extra meds any hidden "government fee's" or ets, and here our bill was 25% from what we will be paying if surgery was done in VEC Vet Emergency! - it's if some one will talk about price! And of course next day we had a check up "how cat is doing? ". Two week after we had a complimentary check up and everything is good so far! Our cat bossing around and crunching her treats ;)! For over twenty years now the doctors and staff at Beaches Animal Hospital have kept our animals healthy, and in more than one instance, actually saved their lives when emergencies arose. We have always been treated with kindness and respect. Our questions have always been answered clearly and patiently. We have been using Beaches Animal Hospital for years for our rescue, we know our dogs are always looked after and the vets are very thorough! We are so happy to be working with such a wonderful team!

Took my sweet puppy Mia here last night for her 12 week vaccines. This was my first time bringing an animal here. I've never experienced such wonderful vet care before. All of the techs were helpful and happy to see you, and the vet I spoke to was wonderful. They gushed about how great she was and you could tell that they absolutely love their job and the animals that they see. All of my questions were answered and they made sure I knew what was happening and what was needed every step of the way. At the end of the visit, they even gave Mia a welcome package with a couple of toys and treats! I'm in love and so is Mia. This is where we will stay!

This is a lovely, knowledgeable and caring vet clinic. My bunnies see Dr Mark and he is fantastic, as are all of the other staff I have interacted with.

I have been looking for a vet in the area but due to Covid it has been hard to get in anywhere but this morning I had an emergency with my sweet cat Finn. I called and they were able to able to squeeze me in. The staff was very kind, courteous and I was able to get my little guy back quickly with a plan in place for follow up. I appreciate the compassion they had for me and Finn. Thank you so much!

Very client friendly. Excellent furbaby care. We were beyond impressed by the cheerfulness and genuine care all the staff showed our beloved twin Chorkies, Pringles and Ruffles. The girls came out of the appointment as happy as happy could be. All our fears of them being traumatized by receiving their needles were quickly dispersed. We have definitely found our best choice for the ongoing care of our girls. We have no qualms whatsoever to recommend Dr. Beck and the Beaches Animal Hospital to anyone.

And we are Blessed that we live directly across the street from the hospital. Yet one more positive in our long list of positives.

My dog Widget, has been with Beaches Animal Hospital for 13 of his 16 years and I can't imagine taking him anywhere else. We're now a half hour drive from the clinic but I can't imagine him being seen anywhere else. Dr Dilworth has treated both Widget and myself with absolute professionalism and compassion through many diagnoses (IMHA, bladder stones, prostate disease, pancreatitis) and I have always felt cared for and valued as a client. Last week, my dog had a dental emergency which required immediate attention late in the day and the clinic was able to promptly to fit him into the schedule. Dr Kozsti was very quick to diagnose the issue and kept me up to date throughout the process (which was very comforting especially during COVID times when you can't go in/be with your pet!). All in all, I can't say enough good things about all of my many experiences and all of of the staff at the BAC

I did a lot of research on the best vets in the city and the reviews here are glowing which is why I took my cat here. I gave them 2 stars instead of one because the vets themselves are nice, they have good personalities so this review is nothing personal against them. However, my overall experience was not good. My cat was having issues walking so I brought him in: I was told it was arthritis and was given pain meds. After a few days nothing changed so I called back and explained once again the issues. After having to explain his walking problem in great detail, she realized it was a sign of diabetes (why did she think it was arthritis? Did she not watch him walk or do tests, etc.the first time I brought him in?). So I go back and they confirm the diabetes. They tell me I have to use a glucose machine every 2 hours for the first week of administering insulin (it's a device where you have to poke your cat with a needle to draw blood to put it on a device that tells you the glucose levels). The vet simply explained to me how the device works and how to perform the medical procedure, but I was never shown how to use it in person even when I asked them to. They also sent me a 2 min YouTube video which was of no use.

Side note: when I got home, I called the vet office and said that I have questions. The receptionist asked me what my concerns are and I said that I need to know if I give the insulin and use the glucose machine before or after he eats meals. And also if I need to change his diet. She proceeds to just say "do it 10 mins after he eats". And I say ". Which one? Glucose monitoring or insulin? " And she just repeats herself and she tells me I have to talk to the vet about his diet change. Obviously I know her response to my question didn’t sound right so I asked the vet the same question when I spoke to him about his diet. The vet said to do the Glucose monitoring BEFORE he eats and to give the insulin AT THE SAME TIME that he eats. So now this uneducated woman is giving false medical advice to people over the phone that could potentially be fatal to pets.

Back to the original story: My sister and I attempt the medical procedure (glucose monitoring). The first poke we got no blood. The second poke my cat moved and the needle ripped his ear! We even tried the paw and we couldn't get enough blood and the machine just said "error" so we give up. I understand that right now covid prevents people from going inside the clinic, however, I think it is irresponsible for them to send people home to perform medical procedures without proper training. Frustrated, I call the clinic and express myself and they say there is nothing they can do to help me. I clearly need a demonstration so I tell them to send my documents to another vet. So I booked an appointment with the other vet. The new vet tells me the Beaches clinic never sent my cats’ documents to them even though they promised they would. Also, the needle marks are so big (below is a photo of his ear after only TWO POKES! Imagine how bad it would be after poking it every 2 hours for a week). Alternative options were never discussed at Beaches Clinic. And If they are incapable of providing necessary services, they should refer people elsewhere; this indicates that they do not genuinely care about the welfare of your pet, only making money at you and your pets expense.

I have more complaints about their disorganization, however, that’s a story for another time since this post is already too long. But I seriously think the clinic should re-evaluate its overall structure and especially the administration.

Amazing, as they have been for the last 15 years I've been going there. Kind. Compassionate. Understanding. Incredibly knowledgeable. Everything a vet should be!

We always receive the most wonderful care from Dr. Dilworth and his team. They take the time to explain everything making sure that we are able to make informed decisions in terms of our pets care. And everyone working in the clinic is very professional, but at the same time very kind and understanding. It is easy to see that they love each and every animal that come through their doors.

We drive up to Toronto from London to see Dr. Natalie Beck. She is wonderful, caring, and very knowledgeable. Although our little guy doesn’t love his visits to the vet, we know he’s getting the best care. Thanks Dr. Beck for taking good care of Huey!

I have been dealing with the Beaches Animal Hospital for the last ten years, and I have always at home there, and my schnoodle Elmo, always leaves very pleased.

The clinic staff is helpful and friendly. The clinic is welcoming and clean. The Veterinay staff were through and informative thoughtful the exam.

We have been taking our family dogs here for over 12 years. I now have a two year old dog that I wouldn't take anywhere else! They have consistent, excellent service and professional veterinary care with great attention paid to the well-being of your pet. They take time to discuss options and explain recommendations so that you are comfortable and so is your pet!

We moved out of Toronto in 2019 but we still come to Beaches because it is an excellent clinic. Everyone is so caring and they appreciate and understand my crazy dogs. We love Beaches!

Another great visit to beaches hospital. My dog has arthritis in his back he was hovering a problem walking, Dr. Townsend checked him out and gave him meds, with in a day he was up and him self again. Hats off to Dr Townsend and the guys at the beaches.

It is difficult to describe how grateful I feel for Dr Dilworth and all the staff. My dear old 23yr old cat Joxer died last year and Dr. Dilworth could not have been kinder to Joxer, - or me. On the website, I notice he says that his goal is for patients to live a comfortable life with their owners. These are not just empty words. He walks the talk. Two cats have now come to me through a rescue and both of them have needed veterinary help. So far Dr. Beck, Dr. Peterson, Dr. Coote, and of course, Dr Dillworth have been just brilliant.
The staff have been so sensitive in so many ways, so helpful, including the wonderful technicians and front desk people, going out of their way for Mr. Mookie, Ms Kitty, - and me. I don't know how they do it.

Thank you for your note. Pearl is eating well, playing like a mini maniac with her sister Dot, and having naps on my shoulder several times a day.
Her eyes are still inflamed, but I am able to get her drops in. I have seen much less ‘guck’ in her eyes, and no ‘crusting’.
She will take her medicine, but I am disguising it in little tuna balls as sometimes she resists her syringe dosing.
I have not noticed any further pawing at her mouth or teeth.
Thank you all so very much for taking the time to examine her so thoroughly on such short notice. She is such a tiny girl, and just is not as robust or as confident as Dot. Dr. Dilworth once asked me if I go out of my way to find the sickest pets to adopt. In Pearl’s case, I knew she was sick when I got her - but I couldn’t leave her or her sister behind. I am so grateful for the clinic staff. Thank you for all of the attention you always show every animal.

We've now made Beaches Animal Hospital our primary vet, even though it's a 45-60 min drive for us. They've taken really good care of our toy poodle on several occasions. Most recently, it was a very stressful time for our family, but they helped us through it and happily boarded our pet twice to make sure the strict medication routines were followed. We are so grateful to them for this and for always providing exceptional service at great value. They will never price gouge you like many other vet clinics in this city.

I have taken my two dogs to the Beaches Animal Hospital for a few years now after being referred by a friend. The service has always been prompt and professional. The staff are all kind and compassionate. The extended operating hours are super convenient too!

I recently had the heartbreaking experience of my dog passing away. Even with strict COVID protocols in place, the entire staff made this terrible time in my life a little bit easier by being extremely well organized to save me ever having to repeat my wishes. Sincere thanks to every member of the staff who assisted with the final arrangements for my beautiful dog Coco.

I have taken my pets here over the past 14 years. A dog, 2 hamsters, and 3 bunnies have been cared for compassionately and professionally. Dr Dilworth is hands down the best vet I’ve ever had. When my dog had to be euthanized, we opted for the home visit. He and his assistant made the experience so much more bearable and calm. Also they are open late which has been a lifesaver many times when unexpected incidents have occurred during what would normally be outside of other vet office hours. Can’t go wrong bringing your loved pets here!

Beaches Animal Hospital is quite simply the best veterinary clinic I have ever been to.

They work with around a dozen different rescue organizations to provide veterinary care for animals in need. We were introduced when we adopted a dog through Bullies in Need, Beaches was their vet of choice and since they already knew our dogs history we decided to stick with them.

We are so happy we did, Beaches has been absolutely wonderful to us and our dog Wilbur. Wilbur has allergies and special needs and there is no one I trust more than Beaches to assess and recommend treatment. Beaches has worked with us to develop an individualized plan to address and prevent Wilbur's severe allergies from impacting his quality of life. Many of the methods Beaches has used are non invasive and inexpensive which we really appreciate. I trust that they will recommend what is right for my dog and not just what will bring in more money (an issue I've had with other vets in the past).

My dog has a pretty extreme phobia with vets, but the staff at Beaches take the time to make him feel comfortable and show alot of professionalism when working with him even when is scared and upset.

I want to give a special shoutout to Dr. Lehel Kozsti & Dr. Kliment Arnaudov. I am so grateful for them, they are by far the best veterinarians I have ever encountered. The way they work with Wilbur is absolutely amazing. They are so patient and kind with him, so understanding and they really care about his progress and quality of life. They are both very informative and ensure that we have all the information needed to make decisions about Wilbur's care. They both work late and have been there for many a late night appointment with Wilbur, most recently Dr. Kliment Arnaudov was bandaging Wilburs injured paw at 9: 30pm in the middle of Covid-19.

Honestly the dedication shown by the entire Beaches team is inspiring. I trust them immensely with the well-being of my dog and I can't imagine going anywhere else. Highly recommend.
