Unfortunately, the doctors they staff here are the ones that got B's and C's in medical school. In both instances when I went to them, I was missed diagnosed. The doctors just dont care.you are a number to them that needs to be booked & processed so that they can get their OHIP fee. If you can, go someplace else.

If I could give one star, I would! I’ve been a patient of this place since the very beginning when Dr. Dessa arrived! He is a great guy and a great doctor, but good luck ever getting an appointment with him, or having the receptionist answer the phone! Not only are the receptionist, rude, but they never answer I’ve currently been waiting two weeks for a prescription to be faxed and then when I called to ask what was going on I was talk to rudely and asked to speak to Managment and the girl laughed at me. This place used to be amazing the best receptionist. Oh, how I miss Charmaine Dr. Dessa like I Can guy, but this clinic does not care about its patients anymore at all! If I was dead on the floor, I’d be lucky to get a phone call back or get in for a walk and that’s a joke. I recommend going anywhere, but this place the amount of frustration in me as I’m writing this is ridiculous And I never leave reviews

Went in this morning as a walk-in patient it was my first time there. First problem: They allowed a patient who was coughing and sneezing uncontrollably to sit in the waiting room without any mask.
Second problem: I saw Dr. Andrew Sarne who was completely rude and unprofessional, and basically refused to see me, and not even give me any guidance as to where I could get some assistance. Total waste of time I have filed a complaint with the college and he better not bill my ohip either.

Not impressed with the lack of care

My kid woke up on Saturday with hives and had cold symptoms for the past few days.on Saturday so I took him to the walk in clinic. The doctor just said he sees this once a day prescribed some antihistamine and sent us away. I was hoping for a more thorough assessment and elaborated more to the doctor but he brushed it off. It felt very rushed and like I was part of an assembly line. Mind you, the two previous patients were in and out in less than 5 minutes as well.

Sunday night comes along and my kid is in worse shape so we take him to the emergency at 8pm and was there until 3: 30am to discover he had pneumonia!

I'm extremely disappointed as the doctor was so confident in his assessment and didn't even use his sethescope or check his throat. It could've avoided us going to the ER.

I understand the motivation to reduce wait times, but come on. Do your job!

I waited from 9: 30am to 12: 45pm to see a doctor for the walk in clinic after being told it was a 45 minute wait (as did many others I saw waiting). When I finally saw the doctor he was not thorough and seemed very confused as to why I was asking for help and a referral. Didn’t ask about my symptoms. Basically it was a waste of my time. Hasn’t been the first time I’ve had this happen with doctors in the area so it is very heart breaking and I hope others are treated well.

The team at this clinic is friendly and very efficient, the Doctor Desa really care about the patience needs. The office team help me with all my needs right a way. They are amazing!

I went to book an appointment, They asked my date of birth and I said March, they put down November… then they asked why I was coming in and I said I needed my chest and lungs looked at for difficulty breathing, the receptionist said “so you’re renewing prescription”… then after all that I showed up for my appointment only to be told I wasn’t booked in for that time. When I finally did get an appointment, I showed up 5 minutes early only to be told my spot was given away because I was not there when they called my name… even though I was early. It was like talking to a wall. Stay away at all costs.

A walk in clinic that has no walk in doctors on staff is not a walk in clinic. Place looked shady inside as well

Great experience! I went to another local walk-in clinic for an urgent matter, and my calls went unanswered for 2 days after receiving my results and requiring a requisition. I called Beaches Family Practice and was scheduled for an appointment within an hour and the doctor kindly sent the requisition the same day. I will definitely attend this clinic again.

I’m not sure where these poor reviews are coming from. I just went in for walk in around 10: 30 today and was seen in 30 minutes. Which is unheard of. I’ve never been to a walk in that has seen me so quickly. Dr. Sarne was warm and considerate and most importantly gave me the appropriate treatment I needed in that moment. Thank you to the staff at the beaches walk- in.

Doctor Desa is the best doctor. He takes time with his patients. I see people complaining that they wait. But it’s totally worth it.
