I was approached and accused of stealing or whatever they were saying in front of everyone today by a manager until the employee she had summoned realized his mistake. No apology was offered, he said " oh sh. " and she turned her back to me. Gutless wonders. How dare you use foul language to me as an elderly gentleman. As an actual business manager, myself, new to Toronto, i suggest these two boneheads are dismissed. Never again will i support 'local' and i will not return. The prices there are borderline ridiculous.
Stop gouging the 'locals' with unjustified astronomical prices. Walmart online is half the price, right to your door. Absolute idiots.

Vote with your wallet. When each item costs $1 to $2 higher than other main grocery stores, it's time to switch. When this store changed hands a few years ago, I watched as prices increased to unaffordable, then slowly decreased, then went on sale when no one was buying. The ice cream section is always entertaining. Every time they try to make more money on it, it piles up, unsold.

I do my main shopping elsewhere but sometimes need the odd item. Staff don't stay long and although some cashiers are friendly and professional, today's cashier was terse and unresponsive to the point of rudeness. Basic customer service was, apparently, more than she could bear to provide. I would rather have a pleasant experience - which means just about anywhere else. After shopping there for a disappointing few years, it's time to move on. I won't be returning.

A convenient grocery store at the locals end of queen street. Good selections. Prices can be steep but there's new deals each week

Great little grocery store but needs to have grocery carts. Baskets and rolling baskets aren't big enough.

Neighborhood grocery store. Friendly cashiers. 3 ti.mes i bought products that were not sold at advertised price. Charged full price even though it was supposed to be on sale. Lovlaws would. Ever do that. Past experience was given product for free if there was a price discrepancy at Loblaws

Small grocery store, small selection of brand names, PC line and no frills yellow labels. Staff are friendly. Seems to be very cramped and slightly unorganized.

Staff is great. Very friendly and helpful. But the prices like every store is rising there prices.
