Top notch service. Excellent food. Great ambiance on the patio and perfect entertainment for a sunny Sunday afternoon.

In the heart of downtown Port Hope. Great atmosphere to have lunch on their very spacious patio. There are plenty of indoor and patio seating. Every table on the patio has umbrellas. Servers are very friendly. Had the Chicken Cobb salad, no bacon and balsamic on the side. Portions are large and very filling. Colleagues have fish and chips.

Great old school pub, popular with the locals. Great atmosphere indoor and outdoor seating. Loved my fish and chips with malt vinegar.

No access for disabled persons. Noisy stinky and slow service. We waited 45 minutes for our terrible food. Will Never go there again.

Great food, service and AMAZING atmosphere! Their deck area is beautiful and relaxing. I highly recommend going here. The Cob salad is fantastic!

I had the absolute pleasure to visit this welcoming pub last weekend. I was promptly greeted with a smile and seated on the beautiful patio. The patio has plenty of umbrellaed tables, beautiful over-flowing flower pots, and a very interesting tree which the patio deck has been built around (kudos for that). The service was impeccable, the food was delicious, and the drinks refreshing. Every group of diners was having a wonderful time. To my surprise there was also live music which was a delight. There were a number of well behaved dogs on the patio and as a dog lover it was so nice to see. I even saw a tv celebrity enjoying lunch with his family and dog.

I'll be returning again soon. If you're visiting Port Hope, The Beamish House Pub is a go to!

Great food, service and draft and atmosphere! The type of place you could bring the girls/lads for bevvies or your grandma for brunch.

We snuck in on a Sunday afternoon and were so glad we did. Crept passed a big front room and an adorable (yet bustling) little kitchen. Our server was warm and accomadating in the way that makes you feel right at home and game for a second pint. Good old pub fare served really well. I couldn't help but notice the locals streaming in and warmly greeting each other, everyone's dishes looked good! I was impressed with my plate and the fresh substantial salad served on the side. My partner was charmed with the taps. Cheers!

It was a Thursday afternoon. One of the rock band Nirvana songs was playing. I had a chance to drink their coffee. It was nice and warm, tasting great. I felt right at home.

Food was disappointing. My daughter's burger had bacon burnt black, wife's home fries were salted to the point of being inedible. Service was slow, had to request a drink for my daughter multiple times. Then receive the bill with an automatic gratuity of 20%. Will never eat there again.

I love eating here but the last time I went they were out of Guinness but I imagine that can happen from time to time with the best beer on the planet!

Everytime I go here it's great. They had lots of Guinness this time.

Used to love the beamish. The food had never been great but I liked the atmosphere and actually enjoyed eating there with my family once in a while. But they jacked up the price way over inflation level. Really? If I am going to pay theses prices I ll go to a restaurant which offers real culinary experience. Very disappointed to have lost our"
