Bean Chevrolet Buick GMC Corvette

Service department is a joke, basically got ghosted for 4 days because they had to talk to a “manager on Monday” over a corrosion issue that apparently isn’t covered under the extended bumper to bumper warranty that was purchased when I bought the truck new. Don’t waste your time going there for service or warranty issues.

I’ve dealt with BEAN for the past 4 years, 7 deals total with Kelsey and Andre can’t forget Monique in finance.
But the first time I’ve ever had to deal with the service department was this week for a few recalls and maintenance issues

Do not get a vehicle from Beans in CP. They will have no record of it each time you call, for an oil change or anything else. They don't know what is going on in the shop. You will not get work done on the truck for weeks, and you'll be without a vehicle.
I wouldn't recommend it.

Take your business elsewhere. Trust me.
You would be better off getting a truck in any other dealership.

They were awesome. Logan booked me in right away and I had the front brakes on my car, replaced and I was done in under 2 hours. Everyone was helpfully and friendly!

Our overall experience from beginning to end was positive and open. Our questions and concerns were all answered by April and Kim. As a recent update concerning Bean Motors, I had them install my snow tires only to find that the vehicle was pulling to the right. I contacted Landon in service who subsequently arranged for the service foreman, Travis to test my vehicle. It was found that one of the tires was defective. A new tire was ordered and installed with no charge. Thanks to general manager, April and staff for going the extra mile.

They tried scamming me on a trade. Don’t bother trading in your vehicle here. And am pretty sure they have taken advantage of unsuspecting customers before. Make sure you know the true value of your vehicle before going there. They told me my truck had negative equity and at least 3 other dealerships had equity over 3k, and the dealer that finally took it gave me equity a little over 5k.

Best place to buy a car at for sure hands-down. They take care of you by the time you walk in to the time you leave with your vehicle. Thank you very much to all.

Great service fair value for my trade in, I ordered a 2022 GMC Sierra that was supposed to arrive in late September but Beans was able to get a similar one for me before the end of August.

Fast and efficient, Andre was great to work with. He gave me all the details and options available clearly and quickly. All the staff I met were friendly.

Updating my review by adding that Mr. Bean is accusing me of being a liar. His response to my review is "We do not have a record of ever working on your truck, we track it all by serial number so we have no way we checked it out to offer a diagnosis. " Note it was a different truck than I currently own.

This review does not speak towards employees of the company only the company and my issues with Mr. Bean himself.

My original review is as follows:
Bean is your typical slimy dealership. Today was my second visit and final straw with them. They will try to charge you for parts and labour on GM recalled service work. Be sure to ask for a breakdown of costs on your bill. They will also charge you labour for work they could not complete. Terrible customer service.

On my last visit they misdiagnosed my truck with needing an entirely new engine computer system. I decided to get a second opinion and I’m really glad I did because it ended up only needing a small cheap part.

I really appreciate my experience in Bean Car. Everyone was very nice and welcoming. Details were explained professionally.

I left my car for the day at Bean to be thoroughly detailed. Later in the day, I was told the detailers got tied up doing deliveries all day. To apologize for the oversight, they offered to clean the car for free before the end of the day. I was concerned that they would only do a quick vacuum and wipe down but when I got the car, it was thoroughly cleaned in record time and did a great job, thank you!

I bought my new 2022 SIlverado Trail Boss from bean and the experience was fantastic every step of the way. The management team, the finance team and especially my salesperson. Excellent GM dealership. I had previously been with another GM dealership 20 minutes away from my residence for decades. I own 3 GM vehicles that require regular maintenance. My trusted technician moved to Bean GM some months ago from Arnprior and I have followed him to Beans. To date I am happy to be back under the care of Clay Wilson as he is a first rate service technician with years of experience. The rest of the staff that I have dealt with in service reception are fantastic people. For me it is worth the extra travel distance (45 minutes) to receive trusted work on my vehicles. This dealership also offers a 10% discount to CAF members and veterans on service labour which is a rare perk for any dealership and much appreciated. I look forward to keeping a good future relationship with Bean GM for all my service and new vehicle needs. I highly recommend Beans for all your service and purchase needs. I don’t currently own a GMC product but I continue to go to Bean Chevrolet to service my vehicles. This is because I never feel like they’re trying to take advantage of me. They always provide me with all the details and allow me to make a choice as to fix an issue or not and if I choose to hold off I don’t feel pressured to get the repair done. When prices have been higher then I could pay they’ve helped me get cheaper parts or worked with me on the cost of labour which is amazing. I highly recommend their service department.

I want to give a shout out to Bean Chevrolet in Carleton Place. I was in Careton Place with my older model Leaf EV and needed to charge it. Carleton Place doesn't have a public J1772 adapted charger (the plug a Leaf needs) and Bean Chevy let me charge using their 110V outdoor plug. Thanks ever so much for the courtesy!

The customer service is great, but i honestly feel like i am getting scammed every single time i go in for service. I don't think i have ever gotten maintenance without having to pay extra for something.

I visited to order my first new truck paying cash I told them I want one time lowest price possible to order a truck the quote they gave me was $9,000 more than Ford I even showed them printed off the website they stated Chevrolet was better quality name then they were upset I didn't come back to negotiate

We are thrilled that we've purchased our leased vehicle. The safety inspection and paperwork appointment went very smoothly and did not take as long as we expected. Very friendly and helpful for recall service. Would have given 5 stars but while the car was there I asked for a quote on windshield repair. While written estimate was provided no explanation or opportunity to understand quote further was provided.

Yesterday my 2017 Silverado decided she didnt like her starter anymore. Half way through my service day.

Called them up, they had a tow truck onsite in 30 minutes. Upon arrival, they gave me a loaner car to zip around in so I could compete my work day. Truck was repaired and picked up within 2 hours.

I was super impressed with everything from start to finish. Plus truck was still under warranty. So I walked away without paying a dime!

Keep up the good work Beans! Hard to attract new business but harder to retain it. You have me for life!
