I am the chef at Beantown Receptions.
I've been there for 23 years.
The owners care, appreciate all brides, groom's, parents and guests as though they were related.
It's the passion that they show and treatment of their staff and letting us do our jobs.
I'm very proud to know them on a personal level and mostly professional.

I wouldn't trust this venue with my wedding. A lot of the people that work here have no experience. There was an incident at my best friend's wedding and they handled it extremely unprofessionally, ending with the bride crying on the night of her wedding for a situation which could easily have been avoided if their staff had basic training.

Given that a contract is signed, stating a certain percentage of increase. It’s important to keep the word as stated in the contract. If it’s absolutely impossible, a sit down to rediscuss terms with a new contract is important as well. Not just to drop a bill after the fact because “Covid”
It should be your loss to absorb. Unless it was stated in the contract … which it was not

The chalets they rent out are not cleaned properly & have no wifi or service
And the contract they make you sign is not legit, they do not sign it and go against maximum price increases

Beantown is a ton of fun for everyone! The staff is totally dedicated to your perfect wedding. In particular, the Premium Bar Staff is incredibly knowldedgable and attractive. I can't say enough good things about the bar Premium Bar Staff. When booking, always request the Premium Bar Staff (no extra cost!). The short blond coordinator / bridal assistant (I forgot her name) is also crazy amazing from beginning to end. The chef and his staff are also super. The food was amazing. I appreciate how the GM always took care of us, and the owners are super friendly and take on their shoulders the burden of making sure the whole day is exceptional and perfect. Shout-out to the setup and clean up staff. Your job must be crazy and you are so good at it.

As we conducted our online research in 2019 for rustic wedding venues in the Ottawa area, with plans for our summer 2020 wedding, we stumbled upon Bean Town Ranch. We reached out to them and were met with prompt and responsive communication. We fell in love with the ranch the moment we set foot on it, during our first visit. The ranch itself is incredibly charming. It boasts breathtaking views, and offers a warm and inviting atmosphere. At that time, the coordinator at the ranch, Pascale, left a great impression on us with her friendliness and insightful guidance. She took her time and walked us through the various wedding packages they offered and patiently answered all our inquiries.
As the pandemic hit, we ended up having to postpone our wedding celebration twice. During this incredibly stressful and uncertain period, the entire Bean Town team extended their unwavering support. Genevieve, the owner of the ranch, graciously offered to officiate our legal ceremony on our original date, while allowing us to book a new date for the "big celebration" down the line - an offer we gratefully accepted.
Later on, as we approached our August 2023 wedding celebration, our primary collaborator became Caroline, the General Manager / main coordinator at Bean Town. Clearly a seasoned expert in her role, our collaborations were always productive. Whenever we found ourselves short of ideas, Caroline always had wonderful suggestions. And to top it off, she is extremely friendly.
Fast forward to our big day. To quote some of our guests, it was "straight out of a fairy tale". The food was superb, from the appetizers to the late-night snacks. The portions were generous, and everything tasted heavenly. We concocted our signature drink with the help of the bar manager and it was a hit!
Overall, we were absolutely thrilled with the entire experience; the Bean Town team played a pivotal role in bringing our vision to life. On our wedding day, we were even assigned a "personal assistant, " Megan, who went above and beyond to assist us with anything we required. Witnessing such kindness, hospitality, flexibility, and patience over our three-year collaboration, they pretty much felt like family to us.
Out of all the rustic wedding venues in the Ottawa area, we can confidently say that we are so happy to have chosen Bean Town Ranch. It didn't feel like a mere "wedding mill. " Instead, it was evident that everyone at Bean Town, including the owners, possesses a genuine passion for what they do and a sincere dedication to making people happy.
We 100% recommend Bean Town Ranch to those seeking a rustic wedding venue in the Ottawa area. You can trust them to execute your vision for your special day. They know their craft, and they execute it exceptionally well.

Thank you so much Caroline, Genevieve, Joanne and all the phenomenal staff for making it an exceptionally wonderful day. I am sure all your weddings are amazing, but you also did such a good job of making it feel like ours was the most special one you have ever had. I fully appreciate the absolutely flawless experience we had, doesn’t come without a lot of practice (and talent) on your end, but it still felt so personal. When we got a tour, Guy had described Beantown as the venue for people who want to get married in their parents’ backyard, but with more staff and bathrooms. Honestly, it felt like you were all part of our family and we were part of yours and we were just getting married at an aunts backyard, but without all of the stress that would have involved!

IAM not married my self but been to this beautiful place. I even recommended to the second wedding I just recently attended to. This is a very romantic spot I would recommend for myself one day hope One day will come. But not just also the great services that was added the ladies and gentlemen who helped out in all the weddings in my mind they were all awesome friendly and kind. The different memories that will last forever from this place. The great flowers all year round to the Snow on the ground dancing on that spotlight Dancing Island is a forever moment. Plus even better the bright colorful fireworks in the back ground is a never forget lasting memory. All I can really say is this is my dream I hope one day comes true. BEAUTIFUL WEDDING PLACE.
