Brought our dog in for a check up with my toddler. Had an appointment and still waited hour and a half. Absolutely ridiculous
14 October 2023 20:09
Took our litter of puppies for vaccines and check up and the staff were all so helpful. They helped carry the puppies in then stayed with them and kept them busy. The vet was wonderful and helpful. Our first visit to the clinic and will not be our last. Thanks so much!

Very unpleasant experience with this pet hospital. Our dog is very healthy, I we brought him just to be examined so we can travel out of country. We came twice and were charged around $620, and at the end of the day, we did not get travel certification, but we're told to go to the government agency for the final certification. Nobody from the hospital explained to us what actually the procedure was, and thus, we were left without the cerifification, just less than 24 hours before the flight. Certainly, I will avoid this pet hospital as a very unprofessional and money grabber.

We had to put our poor boy down on Saturday Aug. 5. Honestly the entire staff at Beatties were absolutely amazing. So compassionate and caring. Made our difficult day a little better. Thanks again so much to all

Called in a matter of a true emergency and all they cared about was the payment! Quite sad.
24 July 2023 11:08
Just brought my miniature dachshund in for the first time - she was getting spayed. Vet tech was amazing and explained everything prior to the procedure. Vet came in with a very calm and assured demeanour which helped settle any nerves I had. She ended up needing to come back because one of the stitches ripped - the staff were quick to get her back in and resolve the issue.

Our dog Max had a sprained front paw so we took him here as this is his vet clinic after an x-ray was done we were told it was just a sprain. They insisted on anti-inflammatory which I don’t think was necessary. My dog now, has developed a stomach ulcer from the Anti-inflammatory that the vet pushed on us.

Max had to go back to the vet again to address the stomach ulcer that he get got from the med they pushed on us… now he’s on a medication to help the stomach ulcer.

Why were we not told that this medication could develop a stomach ulcer in the first place?

They should’ve comped the second visit because the only reason we had to go in for a second vet visit was because he got a stomach ulcer from the medication on his first visit. Overall we’ve spent over $600 on two vet visits two medication’s all because my dog had a sprained paw.

Shady business does not care about pets and only making money.

For work I am required to move frequently, I have taken my dogs to many clinics, some better then others.
After reading the reviews for this clinic I decided to give them a go.
My first impression walking in the door was better then expected due to the reviews, the clinic was clean and the staff were happy and very easy to talk to, never once did I feel rushed or like I wasn't a priority.

The clinic was clean and well organized, I felt good about my choice, right away I know if I feel calm and comfortable my dogs will pick up on that and they will be calm and happy as well.

This is important, dogs can sense stress and hostility.

My appointment was a few minutes behind schedule, however I was informed right at check in that they were running behind due to an emergency, the heads up was much appreciated.

Routine check up for the dogs, all of my care options well explained nd well presented and we were off to the dog park for some fun.

Kudos to all the staff at this clinic for making finding a new clinic so very easy. We look forward to our next visit.

They could take us in on the same day we called about sick pet. Thank you very much for your timely appointments & customer/patient care.

I highly do not recommend that you bring your pet here only if you want them to die.

At first, I was VERY happy with this location. We usually go to stoney creek and my pet was bleeding from the mouth and they were able to take them in that day which I was very thankful for. We ran tests and a few hours later the vet on duty called to tell me that my pet had masses in their abdomen and that they might be internally bleeding. The vet recommended I put my pet down. I declined as I had a feeling the bleeding was just from my pet's gums as she had really bad teeth. Next day, vet calls me to tells me that what she saw was "not as bad" as she thought it was. Could you imagine if I actually ended up putting my beloved pet down for no reason? I was relieved that I did not follow her advice. The antibiotics helped my pet and we agreed that every time my pets breath starts to smell we would give her antibiotics no problem.

I had no problem with getting antibiotics UNTILL 3 weeks before I found my pet dead on the floor. The last time I had received antibiotics from the pharmacy there was not a problem to get. The issue was that my pet knew which food had the antibiotics in it and would not eat it so 80% of the total treatment went to waste. The awful thing about this place is that there is no one you can directly talk to in their pharmacy. I had to leave a message explaining that I would need more antibiotics as my pet barely got any and we were out because a lot of it went to waste. At this point, I did find a way for my pet to intake the antibiotics. After a left a voice message with their pharmacy NO response back. Being the respectful person that I am, I would give them some time to get back to me. At least once a week I would leave a message explaining the whole story again and expressing URGENCY for my pets antibiotics as they were in need. I would call week after week and NO response back. The same day my pet died hours before they died, I called again and still no response back. Came home later and there my pet was, dead on the floor. My absolute WORLD just gone! Still to this day I cannot un see this imagine of my poor poor beloved deceased pet. I called the clinc in a very respectful manner and expressed my upset towards them never getting back to me. My pet would most likely be here today if they actually got back to me and tried to give my pet the antibiotics they NEEDED. I requested that the manager call me back and still a month later, NOTHING. You have know lead me to write this review in order to worn other people about this place. Its obvious that majority of staff just don't care and don't follow up. This needs to change.

My experience with losing my 14 yo Boston Terrier was the most tragic and traumatic experience of my life. He had degenerative myelopathy so making the decision to put him to sleep was the hardest thing I (and my husband) have ever had to do. He began to struggle with swallowing water, as such, he ran a high risk of choking with food and water. He had lost control of his body beyond his waist. Figuring out diapers that would work along with his build cost me about $300.

So, after 4 months of total fecal incontinence and a partner exhausted, once he struggled with swallowing, I made the decision to end his life.

From start, to finish, NOTHING was okay. They put us in a room, then ignored us for 90 minutes. When I asked it to finally be time, some woman wearing a lab coat, who we had never met or seen, pushed both vials then put the yellow disposable stethoscope on his chest and simply said, "he is done. "

My companion of 14 years was just a job for her. Having grown up with companions, I was confused and angry at not having that little window to tell him "this will be okay. " "Mum loves you more than anything on earth".

But, no.

That was October 25th 2021.

Got an email about his annual exam and shots. Then followed my THREE calls over the following 12 weeks.

When I called about this, I received, "oh, yeah. Okay. We will remove you from our list. "

The vet was beyond ignorant towards my blind mother who was there with our injured dog. He was sooooo hard to understand and kept saying we were wrong once we repeated our options to him, we had to get someone else to tell us what was going. The vet said we were looking at $7k-$10k and needed to do all these testing because our dog wouldnt let him touch the back legs which was a lie as we already touched them and found a cut. All he wanted was money, sedation and all this other stuff just for something that could fix himself according to the vet.

So we ask to leave with pain medication since we were told he probably sprained or pinched something and the vet said your not allowed that's animal abuse. Yet this was one of our options pain medication for the weekend and then go back for x-rays. I would never recommend any Beattie's vets because all of them are scam artists. They just want the money and make you feel bad to get the money.
17 April 2022 10:35
We were dog sitting a rather large puppy when she went into heat and became aggressive. We were at a loss after trying everything to control the situation. It was a long weekend but Beattie’s was open. I called and spoke to Emma and she gave me great advice. She really listened and was empathetic to the situation. I’m so grateful for her advice. Considering we were not clients, she was extremely helpful.
13 April 2022 2:44
Terrible phone service, basically, there is none. I have now waited on hold for 20 minutes two days ago and for 11 minutes today, both would have been longer except I finally hung up. Vets may be good but you can't book the appointment. I'm so very disappointed in their service. I'm a senior, I need to speak with someone. No one's there to help me, or my pet.
07 March 2022 23:53
I brought my new puppy for her second shot and it went well. Before leaving I scheduled the next appointment to see them in a month. After coming back for the second visit I found out that my appointment was never booked. I asked to accommodate us now that we were there. However it was declined stating that the veterinarian is on lunch and he/she will not do that. I asked for a discount on my next visit, however they said they do not give discounts. I felt that my time that they wasted for me was not important to them. NO COOL!
26 February 2022 15:06
I called the clinic asked to have an in person appointment as my dog was not well (during covid) and the lady abruptly said I’m sorry we’re not doing in person appointments to keep our team safe only if you’re saying goodbye to your pet, I asked if their was any exceptions as he’s had a stroke (I believe) and blind, it would be a lot on his body. She then said “if you want to choose that care for your pet it’s your prerogative” in a condescending tone. I get we’re in a pandemic but the tone was not necessary, she could of came from a place of empathy. This clinic reception clerk is awful it was the same when I needed eye drops filled at the pharmacy here and when I call for a nail trimming. I will not allow a facility care for my pet when they cant even have proper phone adequate. Unacceptable, PERIOD.
01 December 2021 5:30
Terrible service. I have a senior dog. I called them on Nov. 4 with a problem. No call back. This problem turned into an emergency by Nov. 15. Now they can’t see her until Nov. 19. I did call at 8: 30 a.m. Most Veterinarians will keep an emergency appointment available for their clients. I realize vets are very busy. My dog cannot wait 5 days to see a doctor. Now I am forced to go to an emergency Vet and pay huge money.
24 November 2021 17:16
We took our puppy for her second set of needles today. We arrived 18 minutes late for our appointment. We live about a mile from the Clinic and travel by electric wheelchair. Our puppy had to hoof it, the longest trip in her life. As the trip unfolded, she had to stop a number of times to catch her breath. But we arrived 3 minutes later than their "grace period" allowed. We had never heard of this grace period. The Clinic was not swarming with clients. So as a reward for being 3 minutes late they canceled our appointment and we had to reschedule for the next day. It has left us with a VERY SOUR taste in our mouth.

And we don't feel we have much choice of where to go because public transport services will not guarantee transportation for pet dogs and their wheelchair owners. We recognize that we were late. We realize that the Clinic has the right to make operating policies (be nice to know what they are). And we acknowledge that public transit has the right to have policies concerning dogs on their buses. But 3 minutes and cancel appointments is a bit much.

I have been with beatiea for 2 yrs and my 2 yr old dog takes seizures, and they don't know how to update his chart.they also play the blaming game on the other beariea in Hamilton. This is my dogs life that is at steak.
The vet is even afraid of my dog, which he senses so I have asked for other doctor.just not happy with the whe outcome and care for my Animal

Super friendly and informative staff!

10 August 2021 17:36
I want to share my experience with anyone looking for a new vet. I started going to Beattie's Ancaster for an emergency visit with my cat. I noticed problems with him and couldn't wait and they made room for me right away. They treated my cat as if he was their own and was as happy with his progress as I was, I could tell this team truly cares about animals. They were all very patient with me as I was a nervous wreck, continuously calling with questions. On top of all that, they called me a week later asking about his progress and updated me with more results.

After plenty of terrible vet experiences elsewhere I am happy to say I finally found a place for my fur baby and will be conducting all future business with him. Mittens and I thank you!

DONT TAKE YOUR PETS HERE- they don’t give af!

I am a long time customer- almost 8 years.

My dog has been out of food for over one month. I paid $400 to order 2 bags of food and was told it would arrive in one week. I called back over a week later and asked where her food was and they told me it's on backorder and they don't know when it will be back. This does not solve the issue- my dog is a senior girl who requires a specialized diet for allergies and health conditions. I asked for a refund of the $400 so I could call other vets to try to find a solution. I was crying and upset as my dog is having a very severe allergic reaction to the food they suggested to replace it with while I wait and I don't know what to do for her.

I was told to call them back when I was ready to listen and they hung up in my ear. I called back and was left on hold and hung up on again. Then a vet tech eventually answered and said nobody in reception will speak to me or give me a refund and I can call the manager back the next morning. I know by the sounds of this story it may seem as though I was being rude and unreasonable- I truly wasn't. I was crying and upset watching my dog suffer and genuinely just wanted help for her. (I recorded all phone conversations after being hung up on- hopefully the manager will help me). Absolutely unprofessional- these are not people I will trust with the care of my dog going forward.

I sent an email to customer service about issues with refilling medications- food- telling me to go to another vet for an urgent appointment- nothing was done. They don’t care about your pets.
12 July 2021 3:43
I always have to wait at least 45mins to an hour outside the facility before being seen. Then I’m waiting in a room for another 30mins before anyone comes in. Then I wait another 30 mins for the doctor. Clearly they care more about making money and seeing as many animals a day than actually taking the time with each one. Every person tries to upsell you on products, even when the product isn’t in stock. Very disappointed and it’s only gotten worse over the years. Paid to have my dogs ears cleaned. Only reason we went in. Dogs ears were still black inside after “cleaning”. So what did I pay for? Nothing. That scammed me.

In the past we have had amazing experience with this vet but in the last 2 weeks our experience has been horrible. I took my cat in on Sat. April 10 for what turned out to be an intestinal infection they gave us antibiotics. 4 days later I called to see if we could get a different antibiotic as it was not helping. Was told the pharmacy would call that day or the next. They never called. My mom called them yesterday and they said once again the pharmacy would call. STILL no call. Not professional at all.

Update: After 2 days and 3 calls my mom finally got to speak to the pharmacist who prescribe 2 items for the cat. The pharmacist then transferred the call to a very rude receptionist who demand she pay over the phone for the medication. When I went to pick up the medicine later that day I was informed that both the medicine and probiotics would have to be order and it could take days to get. So the cat would have to suffer with diarrhea till they ordered the meds. What doctor prescribe meds that there don't have. I told the receptionist that I would be making a complain about it and 2 hours later I got a call that they had found a bottle in the back. When I got the meds home the pill will huge. We ended up having to cut them in quarters to get the cat to swollen it. Its like the pills were made for a dog not a cat. A very bad experience on top of a bad experience. There is no way for them to come back from this.

Update After the last course of meds didn't work we called for more meds. They called the next day to say they wanted to put the cat on a 4 week course of meds which once again would have to be order in. That was on Thursday they told us that they would order it on Monday and it would be ready mid-to late this week. I call the other day left a voicemail to see if the meds were ready. No one got back to me. So yesterday I left an email and finally got a call back today they forgot to order it.

If I could give a worse rating I would. Appointments never are on time. Not great care. Overly expensive. Horrible unprofessional establishment.
15 April 2021 10:56
I don’t know where to start but I do want to say that from the bottom of my heart, my family and I truly would love to thank the great team at Beattie Ancaster for their compassionate service they provided to our Roxy under her emergency situation. Being overwhelmed with everything that went on, Beattie pulled through quickly and with no hesitation gave Roxy the immediate attention and care she needed. There was never a moment we felt lost as all details and answers were provided to us. We are honestly impressed and so very grateful for all that they have done for our family. Thank You Beattie Ancaster!

I took my bunny here and the staff were wonderful and didn't price gouge like some vets tend to do. My pet was treated very well and aftercare instructions were very clear. HIGHLY recommend.
02 August 2020 15:53
Made an emergency appointment, arrived on time, informed reception I was there to check in. Waited outside for an hour only to be told that they cant see me today as I was never checked in and considered a no show. Do yourself a favor and just go somewhere else.
29 July 2020 20:32
I arrived and checked in for my cats general check up appointment on time and had to wait 25 minutes before I was allowed in. A check up, blood test & a "urine test" took approximately 75 minutes (on top of the 25min I was already waiting outside). To be honest I spent more time waiting in between the techs and vet than they did with treating the cat.

They had covid procedures in place which I appreciate, but it seemed very busy with a lot of people coming and going for their appointments, and and I'm wondering if they were short staffed or dealing with a bunch of emergencies given the amount of time I spent waiting around.

My bigger concern however - my cat needed a urine sample, which the techs were unable to retrieve (I don't think they spent much more than 10min out of the total 75 doing the actual testing). They told me I needed to take home a tiny cup of non-absorbant litter and get the sample from her myself. I paid $150 for the blood and urine test, and now they tack on another $10 for the litter. The amount of non absorbant litter they give you is so minimal and doesn't even line the bottom of the tray, meaning she won't go. I've been trying all day.

I called to get some advice and ended up voicing my frustration at the entire situation. The advice offered was to keep her shut in the bathroom with the tray and don't let her out till her goes. (and as I expected all this achieved was her crying for 2 hours to be let out, and probably being more stressed out and she is probably doing damage to her kidneys by holding on to it). In the amount of time I've spent trying, she normally would have gone 2 or 3 times by now.

When I said I would like to make a complaint, I was told that their usual procedure in this case is to suggest an at home sample, OR they could have kept kitty until her bladder was full and the sample can be retrieved, and I would pick her up after.

Except that second option was never mentioned to me - I absolutely would have chosen that option because I don't have a car and now, if I ever manage to get this sample I'll have to spend a bunch more money getting it to the vet from downtown. I really wish they had actually offered to keep her for the afternoon and I would have gladly come back to pick her up, as I had secured a ride for the day specifically for this appointment and other errands to run. I feel like despite being there for 75 minutes they were too rushed and too busy to give us the attention I expected.

Futhermore, I shouldn't have had to ask for an itemized bill after spending more than $230, that should be presented automatically, or even better, prior to asking me pay because I would have spoke up about the charge for the nosorb litter.

The staff was very friendly but I will abolutely not be returning to this animal hospital.
16 July 2020 22:47
Every time i have had to deal with this vet it's been a problem. From misdiagnosis of my dog to poor customer service. Most recently i ordered flea and tick treatment for my dog. I was told for 4 consecutive days that the product was in. Each time i made arrangements to pick up the pre-paid product, i was told that it hadn't been unpacked yet and to call back tomorrow. The last straw on the last day I was told that the product had not arrived? Called glanbrook vet and picked up my order in one hour. I will never deal with Beattie again. Lesson learned!
13 July 2020 11:47
I had a great first experience here when I brought my rabbit for a neuter. Everyone was very nice and friendly. Dr Dev also came and explained the surgery to me very thoroughly. Everyone was helpful and quick to reply to any questions. It was also the best price I could find in Hamilton!
10 July 2020 3:33
Whenever your dog is actually hurt do not expect them to book your appointments properly or make any kind of exceptions to assist you. They will just penalize you by re booking your appointment 2 times and making you wait longer telling you it's okay that your dog is in so much pain that its shaking and will not eat etc. Just wait longer and longer and pay no mind that it was our error in booking. Just re book and wait while we do other none emergency appointments. It doesn't matter that you have been a faithful client for almost 7 years despite the horror stories you have heard. I tell ya they just lost a client today. So disappointed and I will make sure to tell everyone I know about this experience. I very much look forward to treatment I am sure to get today when I go in because no where else can take me bc they are all booked. Extremely disappointed.
02 July 2020 7:43
They told me to pick up my dogs meds. Went there told me they were out of it after waiting 15 mins. My dog hasn’t had his anti seizure meds because they are on back order. They told me they were going to send a script my pharmacy. Called my pharmacy the next morning it was not sent. Going on day 4 of my dog not having the meds and they are closed today!
They don’t care about animals at all.
19 June 2020 23:04
The staff were super professional and friendly.
The vet (Dr. McDonald) was so incredibly nice and very good with my dog who was in need of getting her teeth looked at. She was very thorough and explained everything to me in detail.
She really took the time to get to know my me and my dog (Lily).
The prices are extremely reasonable! I checked out many places and by far they were they cheapest (and also the friendliest!)
The facility was very clean and welcoming (even through Covid-19). Everything was well organized.
Wait time was not long at all and the rooms are very private.
I would recommend Beattie Vet Hospital to my friends and family and to everyone else looking for a nice, safe and affordable place to bring your precious pets!
10 May 2020 8:28
Beattie AH Ancaster is a clean modern facility with intelligent, compassionate and professional staff and veterinarians. I have been taking my cats here for several years and I truly trust they are getting the best care possible.
06 May 2020 18:18
The staff was very knowledgeable and incredibly caring.
I hate to leave a negative review, but the owner is absolutely horrible. No respect for the employees, customers or animals. Clearly only cares about money, money, money.
Not the type of person who should be taking care of animals, in charge of a business, or even interacting with other humans.

I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.
03 May 2020 22:14
About a year ago i took my 16 year old cat Casey in with severe breathing problems. Dr Macdonald and her expert team managed to save his life by draining a large fluid build-up from his chest and putting him on a single pill of Furosemide everyday. Casey has been in good health ever since.
Very professional care, would strongly recommend this hospital.
17 April 2020 17:58
The clinic saved my dogs life today. When my dog was misdiagnosed by another vet! Thank you so much for your kindness and willingness to do the emergency surgery.

Also, for those of you complaining about the long wait time - each animal has something wrong with them that takes different amount of time. You should be more patient. I had to wait long waits at the other clinic as well who was careless with my dog.

These people really care and take good care of animals and THEIR STAFF IS LOVELY.
07 April 2020 16:05
The staff at Beattie Pet Hospital in Ancaster are all extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. Our 13 year old labrador retriever receives excellent care at a reasonable cost.
22 March 2020 5:33
I have been going to Dr. Rosalyn MacDonald for many years now, I guess you could say for 4 cats, she has performed dental surgery, and also has been with me for two euthanasia’s, she is extremely compassionate and knowledgeable, but it’s more than that, she really puts me at ease and I find her very relatable. I also overheard her speak to an elderly woman with such patience about the easiest way to medicate her pet, specifically for her situation, that made me really see how special she is. 100% recommend her. Plus it’s not as expensive as other clinics I’ve seen.
12 February 2020 21:22
Very disappointed that it took so long for us to be seen. We had to wait 40 minutes. My time is important too, they should not over book people.
11 February 2020 9:24
I Recently took my dog in for a procedure, to be told that it would cost $150 more than I was quoted by the receptionist on the telephone. Owner would not budge on the price, despite the fact that it was his/her clinic's mistake. Very cowardly not to deliver the news to me him/her self, rather, s/he had the vet tech do it, who was clearly bewildered by the whole situation. Moral of the story.if you make a mistake, you should own it, and not turn it into somebody else's problem. I am out an entire day's pay, plus the cost of a car rental due to this clinic's refusal to at least meet me halfway. If you lack the integrity to make-good on an error, you should not be in the business of "helping" vulnerable animals. Despite having positive experiences here in the past, I will never return to this clinic.
23 January 2020 3:44
Beattie's Ancaster have taken care of our Hawk + Sparrow, 2 German Short-Haired Pointers, for the last year. They have a kind staff, who genuinely love animals. It's hard to let your pups go for surgery. Sparrow was spade two months ago, they did a wonderful, caring job. Sparrow is healthier than ever. I highly recommend them to anyone.
18 January 2020 1:55
In Aug 2017 we were given really bad news regarding my dog Lucy - the vets here diagnosed her with cancer. I was three hours away, but heard from my partner about the compassionate care provided. Then the next day after the x-rays were taken I received a voicemail from the doctor expressing their sympathies and explaining the diagnosis further. If not for this level of empathy and understanding; I would not have known the urgency of the situation. My partner drove Lucy to me, and we spent one last day together before I had to have her put to sleep.
I am forever grateful to the team that gave us the closure we needed at that time.
10 January 2020 13:38
Extremely long wait times for decently short appointments- had an appointment at 4: 30, got admitted around 5, and didn't see the vet until 5: 30.there was only 1 vet in the building, so I understand the long wait however it doesn't eliminate my frustration.unprofessional vet tech- wasn't willing to check food stock, kept laughing while discussing diabetic treatment for my dog, kept pinching my troubled and extremely stressed out dogs skin to demonstrate where to inject insulin (+2x), injected him with saline solution in a poor spot and caused more distress- overall not professional in the way she spoke or acted.beatties has been my vet hospital for both of my dogs for 10+ years and I would recommend them to others, however this experience was extremely far from pleasant, especially for someone who just found out their dog has diabetes.
01 November 2019 21:01
Place is a joke. 2 bad experiences.last one I took my 2 pugs in for shots and check up.told vet 1 was peeing with blood in the pee.perscribed ear drops lol.a week later I'm trying to meds for her.can I please wait till someone calls me back.nice work eh.still waiting
13 October 2019 1:44
Every one is so kind-especially when things are not so good. Dr. MacDonald has helped me through so many crisises including now and it gives me comfort to know I can rely on her And the whole staff!
21 September 2019 15:23
Amazing staff and drs! We recently adopted a kitten from the SPCA. She is only 4 months old and very busy and loveable! We had to take her in to another vet as she was limping and we were not sure if she was okay. That visit there was not what we had expected therefore my daughter who was the one who adopted kitty, felt she needed to look elsewhere. We went to Beattie in Ancaster and was treated so good! The staff and dr were very friendly, listened to my daughters concerns and took the time to really look over kitty. The apt was not rushed, much information was shared and kitty who normally would be nervous came right out of cage happy and playful. They truly cared about our concerns, and took the time to listen. They did not push us to do exams or tests, rather they gave us options and even said they would follow up with us in a few days!

This clinic is great! The staff are friendly and appointments are easy to make (especially you can book online). Recommend Dr. ROSALYN MACDONALD, she is the best veterinarian we have met so far. She is very knowledgeable and she truly cares about our dog Mojo, she always takes her time to explain everything super clear to us:)

I have never had a problem with this vet. Thoughtful and kind, they don't push unnecessary vaccines on you. Reasonable prices. I have never been charged extra for anything. They show so much love and attention to my dog whenever we are there. Love this place!

They need a better system of following up on test results. Vet should have handover if they are off to ensure tests are followed up on. If not, a pet’s life can be at risk!

My dog has a serious autoimmune condition. I took her in and she saw Vet and blood work was done. I never received a call back with the results.

This happened on 4 occasions with my other dog who had diabetes and the same vet. Fortunately there was no harm done with the delay. I gave feedback to the Vet one occasion and she said she was too busy.

On this occasion, I had to contact the Clinic to ask for the result. They emailed me the report after initially saying they couldn’t do that. The results showed very abnormal results that needed very URGENT attention. I contacted my dog’s Neurologist at MOVH and they promptly saw her. They said this is a urgent situation. I contacted Beattie hospital back to indicate that my dog’s test results were very abnormal. The response I got back was that the vet was not in, and I would be contacted when they were next in. I will not be returning to Beattie.
