Thank you Dr. Natalie and staff for taking such great care of Winter! Dr. Natalie your calm, positive disposition is always appreciated. We are grateful to have such great medical care for our Golden Girl

I had the best experience ever. Quite of a long commute for me but all worth it. My pet got an eye enucleation surgery and it went so well. Thanks to each and everyone of you at the Burlington location for your kindness, dedication and professionalism.

I brought my kitten here to be neutered after adopting him from the Burlington Humane Society. They didn’t try to push any extras onto me like other animal hospitals did. They were kind, welcoming and took great care of my kitten. They called with updates prior to his surgery and after it was completed.

If I didn’t live in Stoney Creek, this would be our regular vet.
08 September 2023 17:15
Staff were kind enough to see my dog while I was dog sitting for one of their clients. My dog put a large crack in his dew claw and was bleeding. As I was 3 hours away from his regular vet I took a chance and called my friends vet at Beattie Pet Hospital and they were kind enough to accommodate me with an appointment within a short amount of time. Very much appreciated
14 April 2023 15:36
Helped us when we were in a pinch but the vet tried to upsell everything. I appreciate the help when we needed it but trying to charge us for the wrong medication, insisting we needed to pay $1500 for an allergy test, and directing us on how we need to give our dog medication that he’s been taking for almost 2 years now. It was very kind of them to help us but that’s not how you make a new relationship with a client. Personally would not recommend this vet due to that reason, take that as you will!

OMG, this place is really great. Super nice stuff! Originally I went treat my Lego dog to the vet on Walkers line and Palladium and had terrible experience.after spending over 1K nothing was done so I came to Beattie Pet, doctor solved Lego ear infection til today charging me less then $400. Thank you
Also I would like to apologize for messing places before
07 March 2023 12:47
Tried to charge me $95 for a 3kg bag of dog food telling me, when I questioned the price, that the prices had recently gone up.palease.what a racket, will never be back.

BTW, obtained for $60 just a few blocks away.still a racket but at least they are not totally gouging their customers.
06 March 2023 7:03
They took not only great care of my pets, but me! I was having a rough day and the lovely staff had me laughing on my way out the door. Thanks so much for the wonderful service to not only my kitties.but me!
04 March 2023 17:41
I booked an appointment here, or thought it was for Burlington, (was Ancaster in error) and even though I have been there and have multiple pets on file they they wanted to charge $150 to see my dog. There were no cars and the clinic empty! Greed! I won’t be back

Would not recommend. Dr. Matt at Beattie animal hospital. He performed a gastroplexy & neutered our 18 month old Great Dane, Hank. (Last September.)

Human error cost us additional thousands of dollars, days at emergency vet, emergency surgery and almost our healthy pup. Days after his initial surgery I called and said I didn’t think he was healing right, we brought him back and Dr. Matt said everything looked great. A few days later Hanks incision blew open. We managed to get ahold of Dr. Matt / his office and they directed us to go to the emergency vet. And I quote; Dr. Matt said ‘it’s probably just some fat coming out and they’ll bandage him up and I can see him at 7: 30AM cause I’d hate to think what this is going to cost you at a 24hr care clinic. ’

We later found out Hank was septic, needed a partial redo of the gastropexy, and the stitches had ‘caught’ a layer of fat causing necrosis- all of which we had to pay out of pocket for despite it being within the 2 weeks of his initial surgeries by Dr. Matt. He refused to admit human error or apologize.

During the time Hank was at the emergency vet, we thought we were talking about some stitches… unfortunately, Hank was so badly Infected (past his dermis, epidermis, subcutaneous layer and wall. It had spread to other areas, and parts I didn’t know existed in a pup.)

The emergency vet thought she was going to have to cut out part of his intestines, he was septic, they were going to put in 2 drains and keep him for 3+ days in ICU. They’d also have to redo his gastroplexy. We had to approve first a deposit for $2,000-$3,000 surgery then $6,000 if he had to have part of his intestines removed. To then be quoted $7,000-$9000!

Luckily, around 4: 30AM her and the other vet (she called in to help her with him) decided after flushing out and removing all the dead tissue, dead other things, redoing part of his gastroplexy, removing his wall casing that she doesn’t think he’ll have to be in ICU, just monitored for 24hrs. No drains. They kept him drugged up, and full of antibiotics. To the point when I was finally able to visit him, he didn’t recognize me.

The estimate luckily dropped back down to $5,000-$6,200. (She feels bad because we did this surgery as a preventative.)
She also implied that this infection would’ve been there since day 3 or 5 (which is when my gut was clearly right because we had taken him in for a follow up.) So, that’s frustrating because anything in the first 2 weeks is supposed to be COVERED by the Beattie animal hospital. She said that Dr. Matt who did his gastroplexy didn’t remove this tissue and it was attached to the stomach stitches -which wasn’t right. He had to be sedated for the next 2-3 weeks, with a cone and limited activity. Which was so difficult, we had to take time off of work to monitor him.

Almost a year later, Hank is doing fine. I’m still bitter that Dr. Matt wouldn’t apologize or back his work which is why I chose to write this review. (He did however agree to ‘his follow up’ appt post emergency surgery. Which was a removal of stitches and dropped off additional pain Meds at ‘no cost. ’

I was really upset. I left message in the morning that my Dog is sick and to return my call if they can see us for an Emergency. Went to the Clinic Phoned in and they Refused to see us coz they don't accept Emergency because they are Booked. While on the Website it says Emergency Clinic Pet Hospital. And the Receptionist gave as Appointment 2 days after. She sounds rude on the Phone as well or she doesn't know what she's doing and repeatedly telling me they don't accept Emergency or Walk in. What if my dog is gonna Die and they just Refused to Help and understand my situation. They should be Concern especially regarding Pets who needs Help and Attention when they mostly Sick and In Need of Help

I brought my little Felix in for his neuter procedure on Tuesday. We had a rough night Wednesday and a horrible start Thursday due to his discomfort. We were taken in Thursday for a recheck where Felix was seen and prescribed a new medication. The new medication did the trick and his healing process has been wonderful since. The staff was very attentive, kind and nurturing to Felix when in their care and we are extremely appreciative. Also, our previous vet quoted $870.00, without optional treatment. Felix’s neuter was less than $400 and everything was provided. We felt respected and felt this establishment had been honest. We are happy to have a new care provider for our little guy! Thank you so much! Love Felix and The Lendors

I have been coming here for years, I’ve always liked the technicians and vets and never had any issues bringing my pets in but today I was greeted by an extremely rude receptionist. I would’ve given 5 stars if it wasn’t for her clear disdain for her job. As a receptionist you are the first impression and representative of the company you work for. She was very snippy and when I said something about it she apologized in a rude sarcastic tone. Other than her everything else went very well!
15 May 2022 6:01
First off I would like to thank all the staff, they were absolutely amazing.
My dog Cooper, fell ill very quickly with some kind of bacterial infection which effected all 4 paw pads. It was very late at night. I called 2 emergency pet hospitals in the area and they couldn’t accommodate. When Beatie opened up the next day they took Cooper immediately.
After almost 3 weeks of of having daily treatments/bandage changes by the wonderful staff Cooper is back to his happy/healthy self.
I truly believed that even though Cooper was in great pain, he was happy and excited to see the staff.
From my experience I have to disagree with some of of the revue’s I have read. Never did I think that money was the # 1 motivator. Their care, commitment and compassion to their clients are the #1 priority
I’m truly grateful, to everyone at Beatie Burlington,
Thank you all

My two dogs go to Beattie and I always have a great experience. Friendly and informative staff!
23 April 2022 18:51
I have been going to Beattie's Pet Hospital for the past 2 years, for all my pets. (2 x dogs and 2 x cats) Their staff are very friendly and very helpful/knowledgeable. They are very accommodating and their prices are very reasonable. They offer URGENT care appointments and that is such a comfort knowing that option is available, considering they are not an Emergency Pet Hospital. Not too many places in Burlington offer 7 days a week, (Including holidays) with such long business hours, like Beattie does and that too is a huge comfort. Our pets are an extension of our family, and like us, sickness can come up rather quickly, so it is nice to know we can get them proper care/treatment in the most effective & efficient way as possible. I would highly recommend them to anyone. I always know my furry family members are in the best of hands with Beattie's Animal Hospital.
23 April 2022 14:51
Horrible customer service. The receptionist is extremely unprofessional and has a terrible attitude.
Love the Veterinarians but have chosen to take our pet somewhere else due to poor customer service.

Also, Restrictions have changed so this curbside drop off is a bit much.
19 April 2022 0:10
I visited this clinic for first time today for the suspected leg injury of our new dog. My overall experience was great with everyone, other than one staff member who was unprofessional. I found the reception very professional while booking the appointment, the staff who took the initial history were friendly and respectful. Dr. Murota examined our dog, she was very professional, kind and knowledgeable.she recommended to do the vaccination while we were there, I asked if it was possible to have only one vaccine at a time since dog was injured recently and she agreed. (I had asked the same question few days ago over the phone form receptionist and she also said that it is possible in their clinic but the only down side of it is paying extra fee for each visit which I was fine with that). However, the last minute the person who came to take the dog for vaccine said that it is not possible, if they are the one who doing the vaccine, this is not a choice and makes no sense to come back after 2 weeks for the second shot. I told her the doctor already agreed but she said this is not applicable for this dog because he is not sick! I had already waited for 40 minutes to get it done and didn't want to make an argument for this and gave up but this makes me so uncomfortable. I am not sure what is her position there, if she is an assistant then this is out of scope of her practice to interfere with an agreement that I made with the Doctor.and if she is a doctor then this is a very paternalistic behaviour for a professional.
15 April 2022 3:27
My yorkie was breathing heavily and gagging. It was urgent. I called and was told there are no appointments today. Drove her there anyway because she was in distress, only to be told by a vet tech that my panting, dog with a racing heartbeat seems stable, but I could come back in 2 hrs for an appointment. Came back 1.5 hrs later as she was declining quickly. Demanded vet save her. She died of heart failure after them trying to resuscitate her. The vet comes into the room, doesn’t say anything but is shaking her head “no”. She doesn’t say, I’m sorry, doesn’t say she died, just shakes her head no. We are devastated and have to ask if that means she died. Then she says yes, I’m sorry and leaves the room. This place is only about money, they don’t care about the animals. When it’s urgent they should help the animals whether they have an appointment time or not! I would understand if my pet had to wait because of a life saving situation for another pet, we all would. My sweet girl could have been helped if they weren’t so greedy and put the animals first. We are heartbroken and disgusted with Beattie Pet Hospital.
31 March 2022 0:54
Nice ladies. I come here all the way from Hamilton. Always took my dogs here when I used to live around the area. Keep it up!
09 February 2022 12:34
I agree with the last review! This place is a joke. We’ve been there twice now spent over $600 AND still these "professionals" can't pin point what is exactly wrong. They sure did make a pretty penny off of us during hard times. VERY Shameful.please read these reviews and do not take your pets here!

Also to the receptionists have a little bit more compassion when speaking with clients and understand their frustration. They take your call as a joke and just another random patient. They chuckled on the phone and placed us on hold then transferred the call. VERY professional.not!
You should be ashamed. Poor customer service.
24 December 2021 1:11
I called in today to see if any appointments were available for my sick dog. The receptionist was sarcastic and rude in her delivery and by saying 'WE NEED SOME COMMUNICATION HERE, help me out'. It would have been very easy for you to ask for my information instead of acting like a child by having a hissy fit. If you are the manager/owner of this and have recorded phone calls, I strongly suggest you pull my phone call. Absolute horrendous service.
16 December 2021 0:54
Don't show up for your appointment on time. I usually have to wait a minimum 30-45 minutes before I can even drop off my dog. Customer care/interaction is average but don't expect them to be on time.
22 November 2021 9:58
We found the receptionist very rude ignore had no patients with the customers what so ever because of this we will no longer take our pet here. There loss rather give another vet hospital our money and be treated very nice in person and by phone.
19 November 2021 8:22
I am grateful to Beattie Animal Hospital for providing such caring services for the end of life process for my 20 year old cat, Skatty. The staff are kind and caring. The fee for private cremation was affordable. The package provided by Gateway after the cremation is beautiful. I was able to bring Skatty's ashes home because of the value of the services. Highly recommended for any veterinary needs for your pets.
11 November 2021 3:19
Everyone here is amazing. Both my pups come here always great service. My pup Charlie ate a sock and they successfully got him to bring it up after 24hrs. Huge thanks to the employees and vets.
08 November 2021 21:05
Usually quite good. Last visit had quite poor service. We showed up on time. They were late. Once in room had to wait addionally. Once the vet had seen us we were told payment would be accepted in the room and someone would be with us shortly. However we waited for over half an hour and no one came. My dog was stressing out being stuck in the room so I left and found the receptionist who was able to take my payment without any problem, so I am not sure why they would keep us waiting for no reason. Was not pleased with this visit and may shop around for other options.
21 September 2021 7:18
Was enjoying taking our 2 dogs to this clinic however they will are now segregating client's from Vax and unvax. This is not inclusive. We will not support this behavior I easily found a new vet practice.
17 September 2021 17:00
Thanks to Dr. Matt and his team for taking care of our sweet girl Gloria! All the staff is very caring and supportive.
24 August 2021 18:32
The price is right at Beatties but the service and wait times are horrible. I wish it was a one time occurrence but EVERY time I need meds (monthly) for my dog its has been a 3 ring circus. After many years of this I am super annoyed but like I say the price is right.
I am so over having pets because of this place.
15 August 2021 15:08
Making appointments here is pointless. While I consistently arrive five minutes prior to my appointment, I am always made to wait at least twenty minutes past my appointment time before they get my pet into the building. They do not respect their clients' time.
10 August 2021 10:15
I took my dog here to pick up some medication and found their lockdown protocols excessive. I saw other people handing their dogs in at the front door and owners had to stay outside. They were literally locking the door on owners lol. My dog is nervous at the vet and they wanted to bring her in for bloodwork before providing me with tick medication. I explained that’s fine, but I’d like to inside with her while they do the bloodwork and they refused to let me inside. I ultimately had to sign a waiver to refuse the blood work before they would give me the medication.

You’re supposed to be looking out for your patients, which are our pets. Have a bit of leniency in your protocols. If you notice a dog in distress about being at the vet, don’t try to pry them away from their owners who are keeping them calm.

Poor decision making and scared staff working here
31 July 2021 19:49
After several misdiagnosis from my regular vet, my cat was finally properly assessed and treated. Dr. Matt was caring and interested in my concerns and really listened. Thanks to such quality service from Dr. Matt at Beattie I will continue to bring my pet here.
18 July 2021 18:24
Brought my kitten and was scratching her ear too much, Dr. Williams called me and informed me about the nasty infection, thank you so much for professionalism and caring, great service and prices too.
29 June 2021 21:18
My dog has been going to Dr. Murota for a long time, and I have had nothing but amazing experiences. The team genuinely cares about their patients. As someone who has a very nervous dog, who does not do great away from me, they make me feel very comfortable leaving him with them for curbside appointments. Dr. Murota is always incredibly thorough and so kind. Huge thank you to everyone involved in his appointment yesterday and thank you ALL for working during this crazy time.
29 June 2021 19:56
We first met Dr Murato a year ago when are dog became extremely ill. This year, we received a devasting diagnosis for our cat from another vet clinic. I decided to get a second opinion and once again Dr Murato was who we saw. She actually saved our cats life. She treated her with antibiotics for what we were told was lung cancer from the other clinic. And she said that while mammary tumours in cats are almost always cancerous, she suggested a let's wait and see approach. When she reassessed our cat 3 months later she was hopefully and agreed that we should proceed with surgery. Surgery was done at the Stoney Creek location but this location made all the arrangements. The surgery was a success and in fact, the tumours were benign. Our cat is 13 and she has done miraculously well and I believe it's due to the outstanding quality of care from Dr Murato and the staff at both Burlington Beattie's and the surgeon and staff at Stoney Creek Beattie's.
26 June 2021 3:00
Worst customer service ever, Horrible pet hospital. I just call to find out information about my pet and the receptionist was so rude on the phone. I ask her why is she so rude and she denied service from my pet for his vaccines.
21 June 2021 23:06
The pricing here is great, and the reception staff alongside the technicians are so friendly. All of the veterinarians here are phenomenal and very informative. One thing I want to point out is how much I truly appreciate all of the work Dr. Matt Wittenrich has put into my chihuahuas. They are a busy clinic, so wait times are high sometimes for non-urgent but this is justified in the level of care they do. Numerous times, they’ve made last minute accommodations for my chihuahuas and have been very supportive and empathetic when additional treatment is needed. One of my chihuahuas was at the emergency clinic and Dr. Matt called me on his day off to check in to see how she was doing and stayed in touch with the emergency vet clinic. When he found out she passed away he called again to offer his condolences. I wouldn’t take Merlin, Kiwi, Allen, and Sosig anywhere else! They provide the uttermost top quality care and my Chi’s are always happy when at the clinic.
10 June 2021 10:22
I had an appointment for my 3 pets for their annual vaccines and flea and tick prevention treatments. I arrived for my appointment (which I drove from Hamilton to other side of Burlington) and called and checked in, the receptionist told me there had been an emergency and that they were behind (they have literally said this every time we have ever gone there) and that they would call when they could take me. After waiting 1 full hour after my appointment time I called gave my name and asked what was going on with my appointment. The girl said “oh your pets are just in the exam room right now with the vet tech”. I then informed her that my animals were not with the vet tech but with me in my car waiting for the pst hour, she then put me on hold and someone else came on the lone 15MINUTES later and acted like nothing happened did not even apologize and proceeded to try and review why my pets were coming in today, which also needed up benign incorrect! I ended up leaving and I will never return. Horrible customer service. Unapologetic for long wait times and they obviously don’t have a very organized system and I would no longer trust my pets in their care especially unsurpervised.
14 September 2020 0:31
Brought in my dog today at 6pm. Receptionist must have had a bad day or woke up on the wrong side of the bed given her quick confrontational attitude when asked a simple question. Bringing your pet to the vet is stressful in itself. Very unprofessional, and very disappointed.
15 August 2020 7:40
We have been to Beatties a few times with our 2 13 yr old boxers. One for surgery and check ups while the other was more for check ups blood work exrays etc. Prices are very good. Dr Matt is amazing and takes his time with you and makes your pet feel comfortable. In May we had to put down 1 of our boys and Dr Matt was very compassionate to us and very caring for our dog. He took his time with us and we left there feeling we did the right thing for our boy.
Today June 25th we made the call for our other boxer to go and be with his brother. We decided to go with Beatties again and not our reg vet.as we knew how we and our boy would be treated by Dr Matt. BUT! Unfortunately. Dr Matt was not in today and had another Dr.which made my husband and daughter feel like nothing. He was not very compassionate or comforting, very cold about the procedure. When he was done with the injection he walked out of the room and left my husband and daughter there.and said nothing. My husband got him back in the room and asked him to check his heart. (Which Dr Matt stayed with us and injected our other boy and checked his heart to let us know he was gone.). It was not a comforting time for my family with this other Dr.which i do not know his name. I think he should be trained to be a little more caring and compassionate to his clients especailly when you have to let your family fur baby go. So if you are thinking of using this hospital Make sure Dr Matt is on call at the time for any emergency that you may need. I truely think he REALLY CARES. He is the only Dr we have had so can't say about the other except for the one we had today.
Feeling really angry, sad, that we were not treated better at a time of sorrow and grief.
31 July 2020 18:00
I have been bringing all my pets to Beattie for a few years. My son was supposed to be going on an excursion from March until September and he was going to take one of our dogs. At my dogs appointment in November I mentioned this and enquires about buying his flea and tick medication a head of time so I could give it to my son. I was told at that appointment that I could purchase it then and so I did. As per Beattie we always start our pets on their flea and tick medication on June 1. Due to Covid my sons trip was cancelled and so I went to give our dog his medication noticing the one package expires August 2020. The other one is August 2021. The package has not been opened and I went to exchange it but was told they wouldn’t exchange it even if I just bought it. There is no exchange for medication. She than asked the doctor if this would still work with an expiration date of Aug 2020 but informed me the doctor could not guarantee that it would work. The only suggestion she could make was to repurchase it. I did explain that I was a single parent who is the sole provider in my home and unfortunately with Covid my hours were deducted 40%. Even with this there was nothing she or anyone else could do to help me out. I guess in this horrible time Beattie would sooner take advantage of a single sole provider parent than take back a product they should not have sold me. And being a single parent I thought buying it because I had the money and was advised by the Beattie team that it would be fine.
If Beattie is hurting that bad that they must charge me again than so be it.
27 July 2020 10:58
AWFUL SERVICE! Terrible people. My dog was booked for surgery, I waited one hour and the doctor never showed up! My dog is a puppy and he was anxious and dehydrated. Finally I decided to leave. POOR SERVICE AND VERY EXPENSIVE. They don’t care about the dogs, just about money and their business. NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL!
19 April 2020 16:22
Horrible, crazy bad prices, rude and
disrespectful staff. I certainly DO NOT recommend this pet hospital. The doctor is very rude and made my pet feel very uncomfortable. They took very long and came 20 minutes after our appointment was. They are very expensive and charge you for when they do literally nothing. I wish I can give this 0 stars. They booked us an appointment without even asking us if it was ok. DO NOT GO HERE PLEASE
10 April 2020 10:57
Customer friendly staff, reasonable charges. Dr Matt is amazing. My pet’s spaying surgery was smooth. They do laser hence I chose them and I was not disappointed. She was back to normal in a week and completely healed in two weeks. Definitely recommend.
19 March 2020 12:19
Always friendly staff, never have to wait very long, they seem to really care for your pets. The veterinarian is always patient and explains everything to me so I understand what is happening and how best to take care of my pet.
17 March 2020 20:51
I trust nobody else than the professional, courteous staff at Beattie Burlington. Compassionate, caring and only wanting the best for your pets, from the ladies that coordinate everything at the front, to all of the fantastic doctors. This location will see my dogs for their entire life, because it's what's best for them.
05 March 2020 10:44
Normally this vet has been pretty good but my last experience was far from it.a new vet i’ve never seen was in. We asked for a check up as our dog had never had one before, she also had an issue with her eye so we asked for a look at that. Immediately she checked her eye and we did get good advice on that problem but she skipped routine vet practices! No vitals taken, didn’t look at her teeth, didn’t recommend any ways to help with her weight problem. I am disappointed as i am paying over $60 you can at least look her over to make sure she is healthy especially as this is the first time my dog has been to the vet since we got her!
28 February 2020 1:00
Could not have possibly had a better experience at this clinic. After having gone to an emergency clinic earlier on the day and been quoted a whopping $900 just to find out what was wrong with my dog, I gave Beattie a try. They booked me into their earliest appointment, did bloodwork right away, and quickly were able to figure out why my dog was so sick. The total for the entire visit (diagnostic, treatment, consolation, and special food) was just over $500, a much better price than emergency! The staff were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, and clearly all really loved the animals. As my poor pup was lead away for bloodwork the tech did her best to keep the experience positive and encouraged and praised her constantly. If you are considering switching clinics or even just need a emergency appointment, Beattie is the place to be!
21 February 2020 15:35
Today I had to put my cat of seventeen years down and the staff here made us feel so much better. Enrique said goodbye to my cat after putting in her catheter and made me and my mom feel as if she was in the right hands. From the call in saying my cat was dying and the second we walked out without my baby this place made me and my passed cat feel welcomed and comfortable and safe. I fully recommend this place they saved our day and we were able to go home and talk about our good memories with our baby. Rest In Peace skittles and thank you to Beatties Staff.
13 February 2020 18:31
My experience at Beattie was not a pleasant one
I had to put my little yorkie down last month and had just ordered her allergy medication which she didn’t get to use. I asked to get a refund and after all the money I sent last month they refused to refund any money! It’s all about the money with them! So sad!
02 February 2020 21:31
Staff is always very knowledgeable and pleasant. Always on tume for appointments, and very considerate with your time. Been going for years and will not stop!
19 January 2020 5:07
We had our pup neutered at Beattie Pet Hospital on Halloween this year. I cannot say enough about how they handle themselves in such a professional manner. They were extremely helpful over the phone and giving me an estimate for his procedure. The check in progress day of was a breeze, didn't feel rushed and they answered all my questions and concerns. The girls at the front desk were amazing! The vet who did indy's procedure was fabulous! Healing time was fast and absolutely no complications. HIGHLY recommended!
29 December 2019 20:58
Yesterday I had an extremely poor experience at this pet hospital and I believe it needs to be shared so that others know what to expect.

I brought my dog there at approximately 11: 45 am. I asked if he could be looked at right away. One of the three girls at the counter helped me and explained that there was an open appointment at 12: 20pm that would be free to book or I could pay $90 and have the dog looked at immediately. I opted for the emergency service as my dog seemed to be in discomfort.

After giving her all my information I went to sit back down in the waiting area for 10 minutes which was acceptable. I was then greeted by a kid who either was a volunteer or an administrator. We went into one of the rooms with my dog and he asked me a series of questions about previous health issues etc etc. Never once did he look at or touch the dog. I asked him if he could bring in a bowl of water as the dog seemed to be panting and wining. This all took another 5 minutes or so. He said the doctor would be in shortly. Im good with all this and waited. Ten more minutes go by, the time is now 12: 10 pm. I've been there for 25 minutes and no doctor, yet I paid for them to look at the dog right away.

I walk out of the room to reception and ask where the Vet is. They say he will be there shortly. I told them that the dog needs attention and them that I paid for the Vet to see him right away. I also said it was going to cost me $90 and that I would have paid $300 for them to look at him right away. The mouthy girl proceeds to give me attitude and says "you are not my father" and the dogs is stable and the Vet will be in shortly. Up to this point nobody laid a hand on the dog, no temperature reading was done, no checking mouth or ears but she felt the dog was stable even though he was trembling, wining and panting. How it was determined he was stable is beyond me.

I go back to the room and wit another 7 minutes, it is now 12: 17pm, three minutes before the scheduled appointment I could have taken earlier.

I grabbed my dog and walked out.

I think this hospital is a joke. Staff had bad attitude, couldn't but tried to justify the extra charge when clearly they had no intention on giving attention to my dog right away. Obviously that money and misleading potential clients to add more money to your bottom line is better than making a new client and possibly having a good review.

There are many good Vets in Burlington. Unfortunately mine was closed and I could not bring him there.

The doctor we saw did not consider why we were there with our pet. He kept insisting that the pet was not in pain. If we knew that my pet was in pain, I would have mentioned it.

All the staff here are so friendly and helpfully. My puppy was sick and they took her in immediately. The Dr was so sweet to myself and my dog I couldn’t be any happier! The receptionists there are also so caring and always get back to you as quick as they can. I highly recommend this location.

We said goodbye to our boy and the staff at Beattie Pet Hospital in Burlington made a very tough decision bearable. We called in and spoke with Kelly who was compassionate and caring and she greeted us when we arrived. Dr Matt was very sensitive to our needs and our boy was made comfortable. We left the facility feeling the staff cared very much about our needs and the needs of our pup. The care received was truly exceptional.

Today we had too make the gut wrenching decision to give our fur baby "Fuzzball"her angel wings. Thank you to the Vet and all the staff for their care, compassion and professionalism they showed to both my parents and to Miss Fuuzy. (She lived a very papmpered life, and will ne greatly missed.

The staff at Beattie Burlington were super lovely at a very difficult time. They were not my regular Vet clinic, but the desk staff fit me in quickly and treated me with such kindness, as did the Vet Tech, The Vet was very professional, thorough, and compassionate. My overall experience was amazing considering my extreme grief! I cannot thank them all enough!
