Good selection and reasonable prices. The employees were friendly and helpful. Went there (not right before the closing time) and had a great experience.

I understand it was 5 minutes till close but I just wanted one item and instead of the lady telling me it was closed she locked the door in my face and ignored me and let other people out. A simple I’m so sorry but we are closing would’ve been nice. That’s why I don’t come here their selection sucks.

Lots and lots of options for hair extensions and wigs. You'll also find hair accessories, shampoo, hair styling products, makeup and so much more. Lots of parking and can be found in the McDonald's/ Pacific Market mall.

The worst customer service ever, the online says it’s open till 9 and you reach there 8: 45, they close the door 15 min early and don’t even let you in, you ask for manager no one comes out and right at 9 the staff leaves the store and tells 3 loyal customers that their store is officially closes at 8: 45 that they forgot to change it online, but door sign also said closes at 9. Well definitely after this incident they lost 3 customers. Same on them

The selection is small and their hours aren’t correct. For folks traveling long distances, having truthful business hours posted would be helpful. Arrived at 8: 20 pm one night to be rushed out by 8: 30 pm. They close at 8: 30 pm Monday to Friday while their hours state 9: 00 pm.

This place is awesome, has great prices to get all kinds of great hair stuff.make up, eye lash stuff, eye brow stuff, wigs of all walks of styles, just go check it out.

I always find everything I am looking for in regards to hair products in that's shop. They always have great prices.

I have always had great floor staff assistance at this store until today. There were 3 staff socializing and very unprofessional when I approached to ask for assistance in finding an item which I had searched for myself. It was quite clear these people did not want to work. Improve the Custermer service please.

After reading some of these reviews, I was hesitant, but had no choice because I needed to buy hair last minute and I live in the area. I must say, for my first time in the store, and not expecting much in terms of service, I was surprised to find how quick and helpful the staff is. Within seconds of walking into this fairly busy store on a Saturday afternoon, I was greeted by a friendly associate who knew exactly where to direct me. Then, as I was browsing the aisle, another associate came by to see if I needed help. The first associate found me again shortly after to check that I found what I was in search of. I was in and out within 5 minutes and from what I saw, the store has a massive selection and the staff is very helpful. I will definitely be back here.

Worst customer service. Double check prices and expiration dates. The store itself is not well kept and the sales associates are really something else! I witnessed for myself how they sit in the back corner mocking and judging customers instead of helping them out. I walked around for ever trying to find the right products, not even one of them offered to help. When I finally asked for assistance I got attitude instead, as if I was interrupting their fun little game. I would never visit this place again, I wonder how they managed to employ the such vulgar staff.

Owners dont know nothing about products always tell you to ask someone else. I would think as management you would have knowledge in your products they sell in the store.

As far as selection goes, they have lots. But that is where the good review ends. Their prices are not competitive for most items. They charge insane prices for in demand products like Shea Moisture. You can usually find some Shea Moisture products at Wal-Mart or shoppers for $4 or $5 less (not a big selection but one or two lines of the product). Another example is the bentonite clay.you can get it cheaper at a health store or if you like brands.the Aztec one is sold at those "As seen on tv" stores in the mall for less.
The staff do not know anything about the products and even less about natural black person's hair. I have overheard them give completely false advice to natural several times and false info about what certain products can and can't do. You must do your own research and know what you go there for and just go in.get it.and leave.or try to buy it somewhere else. The customer service is non-existent.

Those people are rude and anoying. They didn't care about you but only about your money. If you mad a mistake and want your money back or even exchange, go inside a real shop not there because they will steal your money. No surprises.

Absolutely the worst customer service. Very rude employees and unreasonably high prices.
All the employees do is stand at the front and talk while there are many customers awaiting assistance.
And when you do get their attention they shew you away and look at with a vey insulting look. If there was zero stars that is what I would give them.and it’s sad because I buy a lot of things from this store all the time and they never value their customers. Also I asked to speak to the manager and all they can ask was why with a very rude tone. They have Zero respect. The most Horrible employees. And very Horrible customer service. I am never going there again sorry you just lost a good customer.

I love the selection. This is the only place near me with so much variety! Plus the prices are good compared to other places such as Walmart or Shoppers/Rexall that has next to no selection for a city that has a large black community. The employees are nice but they could be more informed about the products. It took me about a year to find the right brand for my hair. I see a lot of people complaining about it being Asian owned and that we should be supporting black owned stores.but I honestly don't know of any in the Pickering area. It would be very helpful if those people could list the names of the stores they'd like us to support. In the meantime I'm happy with the beauty supply and its products. My only suggestion would be the lovely ladies actually learning about the products they're selling:)

This is what happening. We allow Asians people to keep selling black people products and we keep going there. Black people needs to support their own. There're many out there in Pickering owned by black that can provide good information about your hair. Stop going to these places

If I could give this place 0 stars, that is what I would rate them. After dealing with the manager named Hero, I was very unimpressed with their level of customer service. Another employee, Tony was being very rude and aggressive towards me and swearing at me in front of Hero, the store manager. I asked the store manager if this is how he lets his employee's speak to their customers. To which he replied with "I don't know". The manager also kept going back on what he was saying. I have been a customer here for several years and I trust that they are selling me the correct product. Instead they sold me the completely wrong product and would not refund me my money. The employees are extremely unhelpful. If you ask them a question about a product they look annoyed to answer and roll their eyes. This place scams you, DO NOT buy hair from here. They just want your money. SAVE YOUR COIN AND SHOP SOMEWHERE ELSE!

Absolutely the worst hair store I have ever been to. I was looking for a specific type of wig and wasn't helped out immediately. The lady kept chewing her gum and not making eye contact with me. She pointed at a few and would walk away. I've never wore any in my life and the fact that I told her that should have made her help me a little more. I then felt pressured by her to get it cause I thought it was the type I needed. I bought it and took it to my hair lady and she said that it wasn't the right type even though I asked the sales lady a billion times if it was the right one. I took the hair back to the store and was told no refunds. She grabbed the receipt out of my hand and said did u not read it in a rude tone. I told the lady at the register that I did not use the hair (everything still attached to the hair) and I was sold the wrong type. It was over 300 dollars and I was going to never use it. I was politely explaining her this and she kept being rude. Another cash register guy approached and they both started speaking louder telling me no, then from behind me 3 other workers started yelling at me and calling me a liar and saying rude things. I'm a young girl and was surrounded by 5 workers yelling at me. They were bullying me to the point where I was getting upset and had to walk out. I don't comprehend this. I've had some of my other friends tell me staff are unhelpful and RUDE as well.

I'm giving one star because it's not possible to give no stars. This is a terrible business place that sells substandard products.which explains their no refund, no exchange policy. DO NOT SHOP HERE! If they able to get these products out the door, they definitely don't want them back! I purchased a bottle of Biosilk- Silk therapy, just over a week ago. The top of the bottle was taped so i thought it was to prevent spills or tampering, it was not! It was to mask that that bottle was already opened and the product smelled rancid! As expected they were unwilling to exchange or refund the product but was more than happy to take it back to 'dispose' of it. I think it'll end up right back on their shelf, but that's just my opinion. I called the Biosilk company directly and told them what had happened, and they were shocked! They were also extremely helpful however, and agreed to replace the product for me. They also assured me that their products come sealed so there should be no need for it to be tape up, and plan to investigate the activities of this retailer. As you can imagine, they are not so happy about this place discrediting their products. I cannot stress this enough, DO NOT SHOP at this store! You can't trust what you're being sold. The customers who buy here are predominantly black women and men, and maybe this retailer feels it's ok to sell us substandard products! We work hard for our money too and deserve to be treated better. Spend your money where you're respected, Not here!
