Bechtel Park

The indoor field is pretty good but very dusty. My cleats come away covered in green dust and it sometimes feels a little stuffy inside. There's very little viewing area and not much area to walk around if you're a spectator or waiting for your kid. However it's good for what it is (an indoor soccer field) and it's really close to my home. The outdoor fields are very good.

Fields are small but turf is in great condition. Seating area for spectators is extremely limited and view to watch games is poor.

Bechtel Park is one of our favourite places for walks. One of the trails has a small owl that spends time in a certain tree and it's been fun trying to spot it each walk.

Good place for small kids.
They develop a lot of skills.you can watch from outside, but still be inside what help on this cold weather.

Although I got my first knee injury playing there first time! "Jynx much" the place is actually neat, it's set up as a low maintenance facility. It does the job for a field, 3 x 5 players vs 5 players. Seating area behind glass. Field is a thin layer of artificial grass, might want to find flat artificial grass shoes.

Beautiful trails with a playground and dog parks on the side. Great for the kids to spend time.

Visiting the cemetery, well maintained. Great open spaces with benches to sit and remembered our loved ones no longer with us.

Great place to play indoor sports. Inside is well maintained for the 30+yr old building. Lots of parking available. Note that a cemetery is adjacent to it. Still open after COVID. Looks like they refreshed it a bit too.

Clean, well maintained park with lots of amenities including tennis and baseball diamonds. Large wooded area with plenty of trails running parallel to a river. I find the grave site attached to the park a little offsetting but that just me.

We saw a deer. It was majestic. The dog park is nice too because owners are required to walk in a loop - which is how all dog parks should be. Thanks Bechtel Park!

One tip, people who are bringing small children, please keep them with you! Some dogs don’t like kids and we have to keep in mind that it’s an “off leash dog park”!

I love this place. I enjoy running the trails there. It is peaceful and away from the city while still being close.

Some good, snow-packed, and in some cases icy sections on trails. Recommend cleats, and possibly walking poles. Not too busy, and people are respectful of distancing on trails.

This is place is dope! Very peaceful, gorgeous park with nice scenery. It's clean and well kept. A great place to take your dog on an adventure, here's my dog and my best friend, he's a Newfoundland and loves his leash.

Bechtel park is a multiple purpose park. It suits every age group. There is a dog park too. The trail is beautiful.

Great dog park. Some people don't pay attention to their dogs which is a shame. I've seen a few dog fights so please always watch your dogs! Can get muddy after it rains so dress accordingly!

Stunning paths to walk, especially with the fall colours! The playground is great too for kids of all ages. Lots of garbage and dog poo around though.

Great trails through the forest. A nice way to spend a warm September afternoon. A dog park and a playground makes it a nice spot for the whole family!

The indoor field is not as quality as other fields in KW Cambridge area. Came out covered in green dust.

Great little hike area along the banks of the Grand river flood plain'ish area. Lots of posum, fox, coyote, racoon tracks. Really love having access to this type of freedom within waling distance of town.

We usually use the indoor turf or outdoor 11 a side field. Been much better since they renovated the turf however the space is quite small compared to RIM.

This place is great to explore. Went for a walk with the pup through here and even saw a family of deer during the trek on the nature paths!

Fields have updated turf and great for playing futsol. Only concern when its warm it is definitely stuffy and difficult to breathe unless the doors are open

Do not take your small or medium size dog over there because the park is dominated by large dogs which are not supervised by their owners. I was told by a woman who was having a garage sale close to the park but she never takes her two dogs there because two dogs were recently killed over there.

Also the park is covered in stick burs which are difficult to extract from your dogs paws.

Perfect place to take your dog off leash people are friendly. Nice spot to let your dog run off leash

The trails are well maintained but the play equipment for the kids is a bit neglected. There is a dog friendly area that's fenced in where you can let your dog off leash. The sports fields are well kept and the indoor fields are nice.

Last year this was a great ball park. The city has delayed work that they started so only half the seating is usable.

Visited the dog park. Decent place, but there's a mud hole that I wish wasn't there. Off to the bathtub.

Good park with a decent-sized area. Unfortunately, there is very little shade for dogs, and the entry path is usually very muddy.

The dogs had a great time and we'll definitely be bringing them back there.only complaint would be that there needs to be tree stumps or fences or something there for the people that bring dogs.

I love the woods. We hike through them often, the kids love the little river. But what is up with the playground. You removed several pieces of it, is there a plan to replace it?

Great place to go bird watching. Take the ski trail path down to the marsh and follow the creek.

I love this park. It has good hiking trails, and a decent dog park. However they removed a bunch of play ground equipment a year or so ago and haven't replaced it.so not great for young kids anymore.

Nice park for walking/running/dog park. Indoor soccer field is meh. Facilities are old and very lacking in everyway. Good ball diamonds and okay outdoor soccer fields for children. The city needs to make this a better space for organized sports.

I went skiing here in the winter. Some of the lights weren't on, but it was still easy to get around at night.

Has everything you need.a field, washrooms, and places for parents or others to sit and watch. My son is currently going here to play some flag football. There is also a vending machine with drinks in case someone forgets theirs or runs out which is nice.

Dog park fantastic but in the spring your going to need to get your dogs washed after some muddy spots but a very clean park
