Beechwood Cemetery

Beechwood Cemetery is a beautiful and historic place that offers a variety of burial and memorialization options for people of different backgrounds and faiths. It is also the National Cemetery of Canada and the home of several sections dedicated to honouring the service and sacrifice of Canadian military and police personnel. The grounds are well-maintained and feature botanical gardens, a wetland, and many monuments and sculptures. Beechwood Cemetery is not only a place of rest and remembrance, but also a place of learning and celebration of Canadian history and culture.

The sales team is great because they want to sell. The support staff is terrible to work with and very unsympathetic. Ask for any extra assistance during the grieving process and you will be disappointed. Find another team that actually cares about the customer experience.

I had a problem from the start My son's grave was stripped of thousand of dollars of fresh red roses After burial. I could not find my son's number on the ground. And Grass marker small one i bought At Beech wood Still waiting over 6 months to be laid down. Call them few times about the marker Told me i have to wait 12 months now. I like to have my refund on the marker Go else were.how i feel.

My mom has been there for almost 2 years and it’s always on point with the landscaping, I have had minor issues in the first year but it’s one of the most amazing cemeteries I’ve seen

We sadly have several loved ones laid to rest here - from both sides of our family - both inside & outside - 1st 30 yrs ago & most recent in 2021. We only have the most positive feedback to give. Professional, courteous, very considerate, pandemic precautions as necessary & other than wet soil with rain & thaw, well maintained property. We have visited tombs at other cemeteries in TO, NY & Vaughn & they simply do not compare. Beechwood C.is by far the most elegant & tranquil resting place for those we hold dear.

All this place knows how to do is steal your money. Went to visit my relative buried outside in the grass at a cemetery plot. Needed to use the washroom on a cold windy rainy day. Went to the front office to ask to use the washroom INSIDE and was directed to a temporary OUTSIDE porta potty.   When I asked if I could use the bathroom located in the mausoleum, which requires a code, I wasn't given the code and told to use the outhouse AGAIN like I'm visiting a farm. I've used the washroom inside the mausoleum many times and this isn't the first time. If someone holds the door for you, you can walk right in especially on a busy day. Never needed the code. Apparently though it doesn't matter how much money your family spends on an outdoor plot, indoor washroom privileges are only given to the elite mausoleum members. This cemetery wants to act sympathetic to people who lose their family members so they can spend their entire savings account on a headstone. But don't have sympathy for a regular living person needing to use the washroom in an emergency. This place is ridiculous. A joke.

I just wanna give a big shout out to and a big thank you to Nelson the grounds keeper who went above and beyond to help us with our grandmother's grave. And may God bless his brother Nerbert who is recovering in hospital, God bless him and his family. Nelson you have bestowed the reigns of bliss and peace on our abuelitas (grandmother's) grave by helping us brighten (fix extend the flower bed with top soil) so we can plant more beautiful flowers. It looks so blessed thanks to people who care, and believe. Good on you beechwood cemetery to have staff like Nelson.

Very disappointed and sad for are love one's that the place is poorly maintained everything around on section 16 is broken run over and removed from graves or displaces need to be fixed soon as possible

We need water pipe. The lot is big and only one water pipe on the left handside of garbage bin. Please we need extra ones on the lot 25

Removed items I put in to make it nice for my mother without my permission or a phone or email. And didn't recieve my things back. No respect. Also didn't update the web or voice mail and was closed when I got there.

We need water pipe on a lot 25. I don't believe that you put water pipe around empty lot. I am demanding a water pipe

I am giving it one star because I could not give it none. Wish I had read these reviews before we purchased 6 plots. We are still under the 30 day deadline, so maybe it is not too late to pull out. Father's grave was stripped of thousands of dollars of fresh flowers day after burial. Property manager said he would replace flowers and then reneged. I would never ever recommend this cemetery to anyone! Buyer Beware!

They drive their truck over the grave and the stones are being run over, they have no respect for peoples
