We got a reservation for 9, and there was no automatic tip! We got an $18.99 warm spinach artichoke pot to share, and they brought a second one that we didn't order and said it was free, then took it away because it was actually for a different table. Other than that, the service was quite good.

I had the $21.99 brisket burger, which was delicious. I liked the texture the chips added, though I would've liked a bit more bbq flavour. The $23.99 ultimate mac 'n cheese was very cheesy but not very creamy. It was a bit too rich, and we would've liked some more tomatoes.

Overall, would return again for another group dinner!

Go-to family restaurant for good atmosphere, drinks & food. Great location and easy parking. Soft pretzel with beer cheese dip is to die for!

Lettuce wraps were a bit big this time, but the dish is still incredibly tasty.

Their menu has some great healthy options to choose from. Everything is made at a high quality standard. It's nice that they offer a plant based & gluten conscious menu.

I've eaten and experience Beertown Public House, pubs In London, Waterloo, and Guelph. I haven't tried the Cambridge location on hwy #24 Hespler road.
I am impressed with the overall atmosphere, the food and drinks are superb, the staff seem to enjoy working there and prices aren't too high. Average prices.

The reasonable price. Good atmosphere for the small and large gathering. Variety type of drinks was available. The burgers were great. Taco was normal.

Love that there is a full-fledged plant based menu with so many great options. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable and great speed of service. Will definitely be back!

We had a great time last night. It was a time to catch up, so we sat outside where it's quieter. The interior is rather live acoustically, so expect this lively place to be noisy. Amazing selection of local and international beers! Good food! Fish tacos, mmmmmmm. A really helpful and friendly server. This makes all the difference, yes?

Jammed on a Wednesday night, so you know this is where Waterloo hangs out.

And on a dark rainy cold October night, a Sunday, we enjoyed Irish coffee and snacks with family. Very welcoming staff!

Absolutely love the tuna bowl and tiny tuna tacos! Ask for the house made suicide sauce.its FIRE and goes perfect with an order of dry Cajun wings

Went in there after a hot tiring day. Asked for an iced herbal tea, which she was happy to create for me. The truffle oil fries and guac and chips were both delicious as well!

We had a great experience here! The service we received was great and the food was tasty! We hope to be back again!

I placed an online order & they were out of the meal I ordered. However, they went above and beyond to make it up to us. Just another example in a long line of great experiences & consistently delicious food!

I think I should have a standing reservation here. It’s my go-to place to dine. Great beer selection and a lot of good selections for my vegan diet.

Great ambiance with wide selection of beer and friendly service.
The only downside is that meals are not filling enough and don’t have much taste.

We had the pleasure of being served by Zack, he was one of the best servers we’ve all ever had (we were a group of 6 taking our out of town friends out for dinner)! All the food Zack recommended was amazing! Such a great experience

Me and my sister went there for the first time. The food was amazing. We ordered the salumi flatbread for appetizer, never thought honey would go so well on pepperoni and flatbread. We had the yucata bowl and beef brisket for dinner. The brisket melted in my mouth is was so good. Have to go back to get more. Loved it.
Service was good too.

My friend and I split the brisket poutine and it was delicious and really filling, and the brisket burger was also really great. Really nice servers too!

A great spot for drinks. Lots of in house beer options and taps at your table. Very busy location.

Ordered the shrimp pad thai.very disappointed.had minimal flavour and wasnt hot. This used to be a slam dunk fav.

My friend had the beer cheese soup and said waa delicious, third individual had a salad which was wilted.

The waitress really tried her best and overall speed of service was okay.

Hoping this is a one off experience.used to pro vote this establishment.

Great weather today with many people choosing to eat outdoors, but we took a booth inside. Cov19 protocols respected. IDs and Vax proof required. Great service from Mason, friendly, knowledgable and efficient. The burgers are a staple here. The Beertiwn Soecial had a little heat, great size meat on a nice bun. Food and beers all good.

I literally just started working in Kitchener and I needed to find a place to eat. By far some of the best food. Their beef brisket is amazing.

Great place for pretty much any occassion. Love the truffle sweet potato fries and pretzels if you're still hungry and want another little bite with your meal. The sticky toffee pudding is also delicious! Service is always great, friendly, and not overbearing. You can tell the difference between the senior and newer wait staff when you ask about the beers but otherwise, great!

Last night we had a wedding party in! And everything was beautiful.the food was great! And our server had jokes for days! And the girl he was training was so sweet! Im a very picky person and i loved everything the people the food the staff!

Lamb burger’s olives’ and pickled onions’ flavour overpowered the rest of the burger, however other burgers (stolen from my friends) were great and customer service handled the situation perfectly. Props to the team

Gluten free menu available! The GF BBQ Brisket burger was amazing. The truffle Parm fries are worth coming back for! Maija provided excellent service! Ensured we had a great time, and our drinks never dried.

Had a great experience at the restaurant. Our server Zach was very cordial, patient and helpful with us. The food was amazing as well. I tried the Pad Thai dish with shrimp. The portion is filling for one person and perfect to split with two. I also had the buffalo wings, the hot ones are not very spicy if you are accustomed to spicy food. Zach also suggested a really good beer for me. Overall a great place to chill and have a good time!

Just cannot finished my California burger, because it has weird lamb-like smell but it is Turkey. Fired chicken is good, however, it is not crispy anymore. I am not gonna complain that, it is takeout, it took a while for me to get home and lost crispness. Overall, not worth the price even though service was nice.last time I was there pre-COVID, food taste was way much better.

Birthday dinner with my daughter. The service was superb. Our server was very knowledgeable, friendly and upbeat.
Drinks were served in a timely manner. Food was piping hot and delicious like always

Food is good. Beer selection is better than average. The seats are all designed for tall people though. At 5'4" my feet dangle at all the tables (not very comfortable).

The service was quick and friendly and the food was fantastic. I particularly liked their truffle parmesan fries. I'll have to come back sometime to try their beer menu as I wasn't drinking last time I went.

I always go to the one in Cambridge and i always order the ultimate Mac & cheese, it's great my favorite and I thought they were all the same.boy was I wrong. The one I had today at the Waterloo beertown was horrible, nothing like the one in Cambridge, I could not eat it. The service was fine but I don't think they should charge people for screwing up the food. Horrible experience.

Great experience! Food was good. Prices are average for meals and appetizers. Plenty of outside tables in a nice location, uptown Waterloo.

Magdalena was the best server I’ve had at Beertown. She was far beyond knowledgeable on all the food and drinks and knew exactly what to suggest for me. I was more than satisfied with the calamari I ordered as well as the shrimp special. Fantastic energy, I will be sure to come again many many times in the future. If you go here make sure to ask to sit in Magda’s section if you can! You will not regret it

Cannot say enough about the hospitality at Beertown. We came by with our pup on a hot day and before even asking our server Tiana came over with two waters for us and a water bowl for our dog. Before we finished our drinks it started to rain pretty hard and Tiana set the three of us up on the covered patio to avoid the rain and hail…. What a rockstar. Thanks Beertown, you should definitely pay her more.

Service was a little slow and the Mac and cheese wasn't as good as it normally is. Management did address it accordingly.

This is one of my favorite places at the moment. Great apps, fun drinks, and the best fried chicken in town imo. Always great quick and friendly service.

Nice atmosphere, terrific attentive waitstaff. They have a regular menu and a vegan menu which is terrific! Thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

Amazing. Food quality is way too good for a chain of pub restaurants. Amazing vegan and gluten free options too; I tried my partners vegan nachos, and the vegan cheese was the real fancy stuff. Even had vegan sour cream with it that was just as amazing.

I for one really recommend the chicken Wonton Nachos.

We had a great time on the patio in the square. Food came SUPER fast (and it was packed), beer flight was good, cocktails were excellent. We ordered the pretzels and cheese dip (it's a must have), I got fish tacos and my friend got a vegan Nashville chick'n sandwich. Fish tacos were EXCELLENT - they did not rip you off on portion size or guac! I will have those again; you get 3 massive soft tacos plus fries and 2 dips for under $20! Honestly you could share them! My friend really loved the vegan chick'n sandwich, she said it was spicy but not too hot to handle; also came with fries.
Our server David was excellent. He was super friendly, funny, offered recommendations, chatted with us and was perfectly attentive. All of the servers were definitely on point with team work as another server came to offer water (it was super hot today), and the bussers were very thoroughly cleaning tables and seats as diners left.
We felt safe and were a decent distance from other diners, and there was loads of people watching! I've been several times and have never had a bad experience.

Food tasted really good. I had the brisket poutine and my friends all had dif types of burgers - everyone had good things to say all around regarding taste.

The poutine had WAY less meat than it should have though. In the photos you can see the brisket covers a lot of the poutine, but it's an ultra thin layer. I felt like I was actively rationing the meat to fries ratio, which is a pretty big negative to an otherwise great dish and great experience.

Food was delicious, the service was friendly and my server was knowledgeable and efficient. I can't wait to get back again.

I have enjoyed multiple visits to the Beertown Waterloo location and have never been left disappointed. The service has always been very prompt, professional and positive. The variety of food options that I've tried (love the burgers and the fried chicken) have always been very tasty and filling. It's an upbeat atmosphere where you can enjoy a nice drink and some great food.

Great food & even better drinks. Staff is warm, welcoming & helpful. Atmosphere is fantastic. I'd recommend this Beertown locale to anyone & everyone! Cany wait to go back. Actually, writing this has made me hungry & thirsty, going back this afternoon

Great food and selection of beers, love the rotating taps and atmosphere. A little pricey but well worth a visit.

Loved the atmosphere, music was great, food was tasty (and so were the cocktails!) Our waitress had great menu knowledge and suggested items for next time. The giant TVs were a little distracting, but the overall vibe was pretty cozy and inviting. They also offered vegan and gluten free menus.
Definetly coming back!

It was our very first time at Beer Town, and with out a doubt we will be back! Came out to celebrate my 24th birthday (kept that secret, do not enjoy being sung too) and it was a fantastic experience! We had Lauren as our server, and she was amazing- really friendly, gave great suggestions and was just overall awesome! We ordered the pretzel bites to start- I would have ate the entire thing if my boyfriend didnt eat his half! For my main course I had the ultimate mac and cheese, if you're ordering this I suggest you come in HUNGRY, it's super filling but oh so delicious. My boyfriend got the starter nachos as his main, even though it was a hearty helping, he managed to finish the whole thing, it was that good! Would 10/10 recommend this restaurant, and hopefully you're as lucky as we were to have Lauren as a server!

After years of passing by, I finally decided to try Beertown and I was not disappointed. The food was good, but the service was what really stood out. Our server, Georgia (I never remember names unless they actually made a difference), went above and beyond my expectations. Not only did she have an impressive amount of knowledge on the menu, but had extensive knowledge on beer. She gave my table some great suggestions that I ended up loving. I will definitely be coming back and asking for her! Thanks so much Georgia.

Love this location. If you want a quiet environment, this isnt it. You will typically have to yell across the table for people to hear you. BUT the food is amazing. Brisket poutine, nachos, and the fried chicken are our favorites. The pad thai and wonton nachos are fabulous too. Drinks are on point as well. Our favorite spot. Id give 5 stars but the noise level is out of hand sometimes.

My Asian Salmon Bowl tasted good but this time the kale in it were wilted and the green colour is turning yellow because it’s obviously old. I would have rated five if they paid more attention to quality. You messed up my food today kitchen!

I always use to go to the Cambridge Beertown location.but decided to visit Waterloo this time. I must say, the staff make this experience a 5 star experience.they are very attentive. Our waiter was educated on the menu and very informative which is appreciated beyond words. Parking lot with free parking after 6pm on weekdays, as well as ample street parking in the area. Will absolutely return.

I’ve been here a number of times but was limited to what I can order because of sparse vegetarian/vegan options. The atmosphere, location, and awesome staff kept me coming back though.

They have now introduced two new separate menus: vegan and gluten free. The vegan options are delicious!

The beer selection is excellent with a wide range of foreign bottles, craft, and tap beer. The menu has options for vegans and gluten free patrons. Only down side is it can be busy during the late evening and it is a more pricey choice for a night out.

It was a great visit as always. Excellent waitress, and food. Beer was a little pricey (even for craft) but whatever it was a good time.

Wish there was more patio space. Food is consistently good and came quickly even though it was busy. Service was good.
