DR. BRAR & HIS CLINIC IS UNDER INVESTIGATION WITH THE COLLEGE OF VETERINARIANS OF ONTARIO! AND AS IT’S NOT THE FIRST TIME!
Our 5 year old german shepherd was brought to Dr. Brar for a chipped tooth. Dr. Brar examined him and said he would need surgery to remove the tooth. He ran tests, bloodwork, checked his heart, lungs, organs, vitals and weighed him and said he would call us once all tests were back so we could proceed accordingly. Once his results were in he called and said again what he said the day he examined him, that our dog was young, healthy and strong, his exam was perfect and the results (bloodwork, etc, all came back perfect) and he cleared him for surgery! He reassured us it was a routine procedure and all would be well. The appointment was booked and he was brought into the clinic the morning of his appointment. We later called the office to check in on him as we hadn’t heard back yet and it had been quite some time, as the surgery was supposed to be his first surgery of the day. Dr. Brar came to the phone and told us he had just finished and all went well. While on the phone he immediately proceeded to push services that were already discussed and refused prior both at the exam day and again when he called us to give us the test results. He asked us prior to surgery if we wanted our dogs ears cleaned, we said no. He asked about administering a new product, the answer again was no. And now while on the phone calling to check in, he again continued to discuss services previously discussed & refused and now further offering again some other “new product” for ear wax control, again we refused in which that then prompted us to ask him where exactly was our dog while he was continuing to push these new procedures and services? He replied not to worry, that he was still groggy and could administer further services or products while he was still out of it! This angered us so much and again we told him no. He then continued on that our dog could be picked up later that day and he would confirm the time. Within a short time the phone rang.it was Dr. Brar. He said, I am sorry we lost him, your dog has died! OUR DOG HAS DIED! OUR DOG HAS DIED IN HIS CARE! We cannot begin to express the shear agony we felt in that moment and every moment since! We couldn’t breathe. We didn’t know at that time what happened that day but we know now. Along with so many, many wrongs & lies, no one was there to monitor him or look after him! He was put into a cage after anaesthetic surgery and was left there alone, by himself, while everyone went to lunch including Dr. Brar. Left in a cage without any supervision! Not monitored, no vitals checked, not looked at, not another care about him! We will be sharing more about what transpired that day and all the lies that followed as he is currently under investigation with the College of Veterinarians of Ontario. PLEASE DO NOT BRING YOUR PETS THERE! Please, please do not bring your pets there! He and his staff are cold, uncaring, zero bedside manner, they muzzle their animals to examine them because they don't care to take a moment to look at the animal and make a connection and reassure them. Do not believe his reviews, apart from some, they are completely false and were created AFTER this incident, in preparation of what he knew was to come. He has a very bad reputation in the town of Beeton (ask many who live there) and we so regret the day we ever brought our dog there! The clinic used to be a great place when Dr. Bell was the acting veterinarian and a lot of the earlier reviews are for him. Our family is devastated at the lack of care, devastated at our loss of our beautiful dog that was and will forever be our family member and devastated that we put our trust into such an incompetent, lying, sneaky veterinarian! Our grief is immeasurable and beyond repair.

I came to the clinic after having a very bad experience at another clinic with my dog.the staff at this clinic is very friendly and knowledgeable they answer the phone quickly and the doctor only does whatever it's necessary.he does not give you big big bills for your dog but only whatever is recommended. Thank you dr. Brar and the staff for taking care of my dog

The staff here were incredibly kind and caring. They did a great job at managing expectations, reducing our anxiety, and handling our Dog.
Dr. Brar was also amazing in helping us understand next steps of keeping and handling our dog.

Absolutely amazing place would definitely recommend. I got my kitten spayed and she has almost completely recovered, the incision was so tiny they really did an amazing job!
