Beiers Road Landfill Site

Avoid disposing of your mattress here. Did not know and was charged $28 to dispose nothing but a mattress. That is the going rate regardless of the size and weight. Very unreasonable and would have found alternatives to get rid of the old mattress.

Well laid out and well run. Just remember cardboard must be no larger the than 2' x 2' to prevent jamming in the compactor and must not include any plastics. 40 lbs of garbage cost me $12 which must be the minimum charge.

Never any problems at this landfill. I went there on August 9. The young lady working the scale was amazingly helpful, professional and calming on a stressful hot day.

We were treated very rudely by staff. I think the person working today needs to attend an anger management course as they created anxiety by yelling for no reason and was extremely unprofessional. We were polite attempting to drop off some recycling and garbage. Also maybe if he is going to be yelling angrily he should be wearing a mask considering it is covid.

The best of all possible landfills - cheerful reception, obvious locations for different items, reasonable prices - very large pit instead of a large pile. Just off the highway for easy access.

I can't believe I'm writing a review for a municipal dump, but since some people have -er- trashed the place in their comments, I feel I must stick up for the staff. This facility is extremely well organized and well managed, and the people in the booth are unfailingly polite. (I can't say the same for the Eveleigh Road site.) My hat's off to all at Beiers Road!

Not sure where all these trashy reviews are coming from, this is a great place to take the family to pet the bears.
