SO tardy. SO disorganized.
Flooded august 25 as did everyone else. I understood it would be a while. 3 weeks later a crew shows up to do demolition. 6 of them. In a little van. Where was all the garbage going? Oh just on my front lawn for the day. They did not keep my vanity countertop that was granite so I am not reimbursed on it. They also threw away doorknobs that I now need to repurchase. 3 days later I get a call stating that Belfor wants to drop off equipment to dry up prior to demolition (23 days after the flood). Clean up was done 3 days prior. And you think I just sat in a wet damp house for THREE weeks? The next week I got another call to drop off drying equipment. Does no one communicate here?
A week later. A man calls to finish demolition? And removed things that were not wet that I now need to replace. After SEVEN weeks I finally got a quote. I asked for a breakdown of labour vs.material to which I was informed they could not do? Pretty sure I’m entitled to that. Especially when their quote was 7000 less than the contractor I plan to use.
I was promised a quote a week prior. I called and my calls were ignored. Extremely unprofessional. I understand you’re busy… but BE PROFESSIONAL. COMMUNICATE with your clients and communicate within your workplace!
Absolutely disgusted with Belfor. The only reason I gave 2 stars is cause our project manager Jude was awesome and super easy to reach. But once things were out of his hands it was a disaster.

We recently had Belfor out to do some drywall work in our home and had a great experience. Rick was very communicative and kept us well informed throughout the whole process. The job was completed very quickly from start to finish. Paul and Mario showed up when they said they would each day and always made sure to let us know of their plans for the next day before leaving. They were very respectful of our home making sure to re-plastic off the area well each day and cleaned up well before they left for the day. They were working in a central area of our home so this attention to detail was much appreciated. The work was completed very quickly and looks great!
