Everyone there was super nice, I had a 10/10 experience, and as well as a fantastic haircut. I later came back to get it dyed / bleached and it also went very smoothly and great. I highly recommend this place to anyone and thanks once again!

Omg so I’ve been looking for a hair salon that knows how to cut hair specifically for extensions and I found this hair salon and am soooo glad I did! I always have hair salons messing up my hair especially when I specify certain things that I want with my hair extensions. This salon did what I want and better. I’m so happy my hair looks amazing. Highlyyyyy recommend!

Def would not recommend.first of all, parking was extremely hard to find.my appointment was at 530 but they made me wait and started at around 610.i then showed them a photo of what i wanted.they gave me the exact opposite of what i wanted.the lady thinned out more than half of my hair and left me with hair above my shoulders.the website said the haircut would be around 35 but mine was over 50.i have cried multiple times from this horrible haircut please save yourself and dont come here

Before coming here, I made sure to read the reviews as I was searching for a salon that would be comfortable working with thick and dark Asian hair for a layered cut and balayage. I knew it would take skills, experience and time to pull this off and I thought Bella’s would be the idyllic place since they seemed have so much experience. Boy, was I wrong.

I showed Holly a photo of the cut I wanted and the colour (rose gold balayage) and she started cutting my hair right away, and in chunks. I’ve grown out my hair for almost 5 months and thought she’s partition it better before cutting chunks off. The layers are SO thick and looks chunky and not subtle at all (what I wanted).

Then the colour…after a highlight bleach and a dye, my hair colour was copper/bronze-orange! I looked like carrot top, with highlights.

I showed Holly the photo of what I asked for again and told her this is not what I asked for. She conferred with the owner and they both came back in agreement with my complaint and suggested to add more red. That moment I knew they don’t have their colour theory buttoned up. Adding more red wouldn’t help. The colour is too warm and they hasn’t left the bleach on long enough to strip the colour off my uncoloured hair. At that point I asked if they’re not confident they can achieve the look I asked for then they need to pull the warmth back and add some purple to make my hair more ashy. After 6 hours I got the haircut and colour I didn’t want. Photo 1 is what I wanted, photo 2 is AFTER they tried to fix it.

I ended up paying $385 for the cut & colour, it feels like being punched and kicked paying it

TL;DR
- if you’re looking to get a balayage, don’t do it

Other irksome things experienced in my 6 hour journey
- their schedule is massively behind (some girl waited for 1.5 hours for a cut)
- I got hair dye splashed on my pants and shoes, not to mention in my ear and all over my face…service isn’t great
- if you don’t speak Korean, anticipate a language barrier

Made same-day appointment with the salon and it is one of my best decisions ever! Bella and her crew has been very helpful from the beginning and got the exact style I hoped for ️ I'm one very happy customer with the products they used, her styling techniques, and time spent to wash and dry my hair. Such a bonus as well for Bella to assist me in choosing a colour for my future appointment! Will be back very soon!

I had a digital perm here. Bella Jin and the ladies did an amazing job! They are very experienced with digital perm and used special techniques on my hair because of my hair texture. The result looks great! I will certainly come back!

I absolutely love this place i came here for the first time with my very long hair and i am the guy who gets a hair cut every 2weeks but this time i didn’t cut my hair and grow it for 1-2 months it was very annoying and i came here with my hair and they just made me a look like a new person i look so good with this new hair cute i absolutely loved it The lady who did my hair was very nice and very polite her name is audrey

Me and my daughter were on a hunt to find our permanent hair salon because our previous hair salon is not doing so great as it used to be. I called Bellajon salon last minute for a hair cut and all I can say she did a great job! Me and my daughter both love our hair cuts! We will definitely going to come back to get my hair colour and her digital perm very soon! I love how they take their time to cut our hair, you dont see them rushing even though there’s other people waiting.

I showed Bella the cut and colour that I wanted and explained to me in detail that I might not get the exact same colour that I wanted because of my old hair colour. I appreciate that she was honest with me on that. Everyone in the salon was nice and friendly. This place is not professional at all! I showed the lady the haircut that i wanted and she did a completely different thing and ruined my hair. She thinned out my hair which I didn’t ask for!

It was my first time since the pandemic started that I had been to a salon. I came across BellaJin and decided to give it a go.

I honestly cannot say enough about the two ladies and the salon. I went for a 4: 15pm appointment and just stepped out. They went above and beyond my expectations, making sure that everything was perfect! It's honestly great to see people taking their craft so seriously!

On top of staying almost 2 hrs past their normal closing hours, they also fixed the haircut I gave myself, on the house.

Thank you so much for your endless efforts, and BellaJin will definitely be my go-to for all my hair needs!

I went this place few years ago for hair relax and I was happy of the job. Recently I did my hair keratin but look bulky and still dry not that I expected. Came back after 2 weeks they want to highlight and hot oil for another charged. Very poor job and never come back again not happy at all. Waisted of money, time and ruined my hair. Never recommend this place.

I have been in Canada for nine years and I have tried too many hair salons.it has been a while that I come to bellajin to do all my works because Bella and her team are the best in their job.when you come to Bellajin you don’t need to worry about any damage to you hair. Plus you will get the best service.
By the way don’t forget to do your keratin treatment here as I believe they are the best on this.

Did not honour appointment made and there was no social distancing happening at all. Looks like they just wanted to get as much business as possible.

I had a really good experience, Bella was super nice and so nice to talk to. She did a very great job doing my hair although it took a while it was very well done! I highly recommend this place, definitely go here if you’re looking for hair salon to go to!

I love my haircut so much! Holly did my hair and she was really friendly and knew exactly what I wanted based on one image I showed her. My hair feels so light and silky and free because I asked for her remove a bulk from the nape.

As you can see, with my hair down you could never tell that I have an undercut! I'm super happy with this and I was really grateful they stayed a bit past their usual hours to get to me.

I understand that all hair salons are busy right now and are super booked, but they were polite and transparent about the fact that they are busy, and I understood. I asked to come back in 30 minutes and everything went great!

Had to wait 2hours to start my haircut although I was on time on my appointment. It seems everyone waited min 1hour on their appointment. They put someone who came an hour later than me so I had to speak up so many times in order to make them finally correct first appointment first serve.

Horrible customer service. Booked an appointment at 4 PM, ended up waiting for 30 minutes, and completely ignored. I made reservations one day earlier and this is the kind of service I got. I ended up walking out.

It has been about 1 week since I have gone to get a haircut here.
I did not get a haircut from Bella but somebody else.
She gave me such a bad haircut.
I think I will never come back here.
The haircut is so bad that I don't even want to give them a 2nd chance.
I also feel that Bella prefers foreigners than Koreans.

I haven't had my hair coloured at a hair salon for more than two years after a very disappointing and expensive experience at a hair salon dt where they dyed my hair a brassy yellow which was not the colour I asked for. Recently i decided I would splurge on my hair for a change and boy I'm glad I chose bellajin because i'm so pleased with the way my hair turned out. I decided to go for a lighter brown colour with gradiation from top to bottom - darker to lighter ends. This was the first time i did a more complicated hairstyle here (only haircuts and dying hair) and Bella was in charge of my hair. I've had times before when I feel forced to talk with hairstylists but i felt comfortable with her and it was easy to talk to her. The hair took longer than estimated but she took her time and care and it was very obvious she was very focused on my hair (so much she forgot she had an appointment in the evening lol) she made my hair look extra pretty by adding curls and also gave me helpful tips on how to do it myself. She is a professional with alot of technical knowledge and experience and I love how my hair looks now. I totally recommend Bella.

Bella is the only one person you should get your hair cut. They are usually packed most times. But they do accommodate haircuts on short notice. Very reasonable prices compared to most salons in the area

Bella knows the texture of my hair. She knows what cuts suits my face and how grain of my hair growth is and that's the most important necessity I need in a hair stylist. Bella is professional and really knows how to make you feel welcome into her salon with new and existing clients. Bella has many years in the industry and certainly knows how to style, cut and colour. "Bella hands know best".

Pretty much no space for parking and if you do find one you need to pay. The price of this salon is way too high for the quality of haircut that you will receive. Asked the stylist to make changes to my haircut and I was ignored multiple times. She stubbornly argued that it looks better her way, but what good is a haircut when you don't like it? Oh and also might as well go to your appointments 40 minutes later because they are never on time and has 2 stylists for the whole store. You can probably get a better haircut at someone's basement for 1/3 of the price. Now I need to buy a hat to hide this uneven looking hair.

Overpriced hair colour service. I had ombré hair So my tips were lighter than the roots and wanted to get the rest of my hair light brown. The owner explained that she would charged me $240 to lighten the colour from dark brown to medium with root touch up.
I was hesitant, one because of the price and two, I told her I prefer to just get highlights like Bayalage to get the same lightening effect with less damage to the hair, but she said don’t worry repeatedly.
She said I have too many colours on my hair so she bleached a portion of the back of my hair. However, she used the exact same dark brown hair colour I already have on, afterwards. So what’s the point of bleaching if I got dark brown almost black hair in the end? I told her I wanted it lighter from the beginning.

Extremely disappointed with the lack of listening skills and for overcharging me.
I cold have done bayalage or ombré for this price at Momo hair salon.

Also, if I wanted dark brown hair, I will not go to a salon since I can spend $9 on boxed colour and get the exact same result, minus the 3 hours wait.
