I really enjoyed the host and Hostess highly personable. The pizza was excellent. A pleasant surprise.

I really enjoyed Fish & Chips, which was very tasty n fresh. My only minor suggestion would be less batter & a bit crisper (for my preference).
My husband had Combination Pizza and really liked it.

I really enjoyed the pizza I ordered. It took a little longer than I had anticipated for the food to arrive after being ordered, but it looked like they may have been short staffed. Idk. The only reason for timing was because of lunch time and had to be back to work.

The food tastes pretty good even if it the presentation could be improved. The restaurant was clean and pretty generic inside. Service is poor.

A neighbourhood gem been here for decades. Don’t know what makes their pizza special but I think it’s their sauce and most likely the seasoned oven.

Had the whole place reserved for our post-show celebration. Service was very good- the beer was cold and the pizza was delicious!

It has been years since I have ordered a pizza from BV (we moved out of town). It used to be sooo good. Similar to Colonnade on Metcalfe. Tonight it was like any average pizza. Nothing special. No real distinct flavor. I won't bother to order from here again.

I have food allergies. I’m allergic to Soy, Almonds, Seafood & Walnuts. This is the only place where I can eat the pizza without reaction. They have a gluten-free pizza made of potato & rice flour & their tomato sauce is homemade. I recommend this restaurant for people with allergies like me if you want to eat good pizza

I have been going here for 40 years, maybe longer, always for a large combination pizza. The wait staff are the same people but older and grumpier. It is part of the charm! Thanks for everything over the years. I love your pizza.

If you enjoy a pizza that has lots of cheese and good helping of toppings then Bella Vista restaurant is the place to go. They have been around Ottawa south Alta Vista for decades and have won the best pizza in town award several times. The interior of the restaurant has a modern look and staff are friendly. I like their meat lovers pizza the best.

Sunday breakfast is only a memory, the restaurant doesn't open during breakfast hours.

After frequenting this casual eatery for decades I doubt if we will return again. Of the last 4 visits this one topped it. The very small piece of fish was like rock, over cooked and pizza was a half inch from being burnt. Decor has been improved over the last few years but listening to the waitress sharing her woes with other customers, nope. The family restaurant we knew is gone. Btw the fish was replaced not the plate = cold fries. To add to our waste of money the small combo pizza was slightly burnt on the edges and the dough was soggy.

Super disappointed with the plate of nochos I ordered while watching the Sens on Saturday March 4th. The plate was cold, the cheese uncooked, the salsa had Parmesan cheese in it and was distributed in 4 big blobs. The menu only had one selection, so shouldn't nochos have some chicken or vegetables at least. I was looking for a place within walking distance to have a beer. So I'll keep looking.

This is what you would call your typical family restaurant where many locals have been going for many years. I've not gone in the very late evenings, but I've had their breakfast and dinners!
Portions are not oversized like popular breakfast places, nachos are plain (cheese and salsa) just like how my kids like them. Homemade pizza dough. Wings are slightly salty, and I like it. My husband used to come here with his family and now that's what we do!

This was the best pizza. But during and after the pandemic it is awful. Crust tastes frozen and way overpriced. I like to support local but this was a waste of my
Money, I would gladly pay for the pre pandemic pizza.

Everything was excellent. They were open an Xmas eve during a winter storm. Good food and excellent service.

Cockroaches in the booth seat I was sitting in and on the walls next to the kitchen.we saw several crawl out from behind a picture, we tipped the waitress.and explained to her why we were not paying for the half eatin pizza, she apologized,
my jacket and purse we next to me in the booth as we were leaving a baby cockroach was right next to my purse, I made sure to shake my clothing off before getting into the car.absolutely disqusting. I was sick to my stomach knowing i had already had 1 slice

We visited the said restaurant before few days in the evening. Ordered pizza. Quality was very poor. Fresh pizza are generally hot but this pizza was not even warm. The server was also not interested in service. When drawn the attention for poor quality, she said, "I have not made". It's highly over-rated restaurant. Will not visit again.
