Tried a variety of food, came highly recommended by our friend. Food was okay, we did find long hair in the rice but because we were guest's we didnt say anything.
$75 worth of extra large pancit for a party and literally such a waste of money. Bought it to try and save time but we should’ve just cooked it. They cheated with the “sahog”. It was practically just noodles. I would say 95% noodles and 5% sahog - better description is a full plate of noodles Gad maybe 2 sliver of green beans and one sliver of cabbage. Never buying from this place again.
If you prefer your kare-kare on the sweeter side, I'd recommend you to try theirs which goes well with the salty bagoong. Pork skin is crispy and meat is tender. They serve it with unlimited rice but I wish that the veggies and sauce were refillable as well:)
The grilled liempo needs more 'smokey' flavor for me. But that bachoy soup that they serve on the side, wow! I can consume an entire bowl of that!
Staff are polite and accommodating + the place is clean
Went here two days in a row. Great food friendly staff. Overall a good experience. Would definitely recommend trying this place for good Filipino food.
First time in my life eating food that required a dentist visit after. The pork was cooked to the point where I thought I was eating rocks. The floors were covered in grease and super unsafe to walk on it was like a skating rink. They also charge 15% auto gratuity.
The food was already on the table when we arrived? We've been to other boodle fights at other restaurants and they always put the food on the table in front of us to show us it's fresh.
The food wasn't warm, it looked like we were served leftovers. Only 2 tilapia for four people? The pancit had no vegetables, they only gave SIX okra? Only 4 pieces of squid? Only a couple pieces of eggplant? Barely noticed any pork.
The shrimp was not edible. It looked like it had been recooked several times, it was not fresh at all, in fact you couldn't even peel the shrimp to eat it. I didn't know it was possible to prepare shrimp so poorly.
We had the halo halo for dessert. It looked great at first but then we noticed that it was basically all ice, only a few ingredients in the bottom of the cup. Very disappointed.
Then we got the bill which apparently INCLUDED a 15% gratuity which I didn't notice so I ended up double tipping by mistake.
We paid over $200 for this experience.
Don't go here. The experience left a very bad taste in our mouths in several ways.
Loved their pork sinigang! Meaty unlike other restos which serves the same but with thinly sliced pork and with thick fat. Serving for one order is good for 2-3 people. Lots of meaty pork and vegetables. I also ordered Bagnet Kare Kare and it was good. Crispy Bagnet is of course yum! I hope they put more Bagnet though. Kare kare sauce is nothing special but is acceptable. I enjoyed the pork sinigang more in terms of taste. Highly recommend it.
Their cheesy halo-halo is also good tasting. The place looks clean and more spacious than Bella's Lechon located within the same compound. Will definitely come back to order their other meals. Kept seeing plates of sizzling pork or beef steak being served to customers so perhaps it is good. Will try it for next time.:)
Gave 3 stars for service as I waited for a long time for my order to get served. Perhaps they prioritized their dine in vs to go orders (mine was to go). But since the dishes were freshly cooked the long wait was worth it, I guess.
I pre ordered here during the holidays. The chicken inasal taste ok. Nothing really special. They only accept cash for pre order which is inconvenient. They packed a whole chicken in a styrofoam to go box which obviously doesn't fit and unacceptable. I don't know what were they thinking.
I ordered sisig with fried rice and tapsilog. For sisig, the rice were overcooked like it was made with too much water when cooked. And as for the tapsilog, the proportion of the rice (same like the sisig) are too much but not enough meat. Both meal came very cold, not even warm. Never buying here again.
I ordered the food from Uber eats, my girlfriend enjoyed her tapsilog and I ordered chicken Inasal and pork bbq, the pork bbq was ok as well but to call your restaurant inasal it was absolutely horrendous, you OVERFILLED my takeout with rice, no exaggeration. I had enough rice to eat for two days? ! You also gave me three pieces of chicken, the drums were ok but the thighs were even worse! It was all bone no meat! The inasal was cooked very lazy and very poorly, the colour and the taste had nothing to do with chicken inasal.you guys need to tend to your inasal recipe because that was just horrible.in my opinion I could’ve saved myself 50 dollars and just cooked a whole batch of rice and unseasoned d chicken and it would’ve been much more satisfying then what I just ate from this restaurant.
If you're looking for filipino food, I really recommend this place. Food tasted really good and I really liked their chicken inasal and chicken sisig. I just hope that their serving for sisig is a bit more, since it is a bit pricy. But overall, their food will make you feel like home.
The lomi is excellent. BBQ is good too. The floors are oily and slippery. Hazardous to the customers. The problem has not been taken care since last year. There for I am giving them 3 stars.
I went there twice when they opened and the food was fresh and delicious. All the last 3 times I've dined there both the skewers and Sizzling sisig was cold, not served on a hot plate (not sizzling) and the waitress were not attentive although the restaurant being empty on a evening. They were also mopping and brooming while we dined. (2hrs prior to closing) Unfortunately I will no longer be going back
Came here for dinner and had the sisig with unli rice and tokwat baboy.
I am a bit disappointed on the sisig because it didn’t taste like sisig at all. It was just chopped bagnet with mayonnaise on a hot plate. The tokwa’t baboy was ok, it’s just the price to serving ratio doesn’t match. It’s almost $15 and serving is really small.
I ordered lunch today. Rice with garlic and sisig. They served it and I’ve noticed that there’s no smoke coming out of the food that shows its freshly cooked. And when I have my first bite, the food is cold like it came out of the fridge. They didn’t even offer to replace it with something hot. I told the servers why it’s cold, and she answered, some customer’s likes it when it’s cold. I will not visit that restaurant anymore!
For a restaurant that has their specialty food on their name but is not even close to the authentic inasal, sure is quite disappointing.
We went here on Sunday, Oct 16,2022. The chicken is ok. Decent serving of chicken inasal combo but they really fall short on flavor. Good char but it’s almost bland.
We also ordered sisig combo which is a lot more disappointing than the inasal. The sisig was overcooked to the point that you’ll have a hard time chewing it.
The only thing I am ok with is their La paz batchoy. Even that is remotely authentic to its true original La paz batchoy flavor.
Customer service:
I asked the one server (with glasses) for their “guest wifi” password, and she said they don’t even know what the password for that is. I’m confused because why have a “guest wifi” if you’re not gon let your patrons access it?
Also, when that same lady with the glasses served us the La paz batchoy, she put it on the edge of the table as if she’s in a hurry and didn’t even let us know she’s serving it to us. It looks like she feels miserable working there or something.
