Bermondsey Transfer Station

Bermondsey is close to the public.
You will feel silly with a loaded car or truck. To see it close
And yes it only for lockdown, covid 19 stay safe

Don't go. All transfer stations in Toronto are closed for public until further notice as of May 8 2021.

Speedy, convenient, and efficient. Very clear and hassle-free instructions from staff. A great city facility. Also it's fun to throw your trash into a giant dumpster.

Lines were long, as expected, but the process was simple and reasonably priced. Great way to get rid of extra household waste when making home improvements.

I arrived at 5: 00pm but the site is open to the public from 6pm to 6am. At least 5 more people made the same mistake. The website is not clear on the opening hours and the sign at the door does not do a better job.

People working there are polite and helpful.

Got there just before 1800 on a Tue. Luneup, but processing quickly. 1800 to 0600 for residents, all daytime hours for city vehicles. High rating for literal dump. Have been, will be going again.

Friendly staff and easy way to get rid of junk and unwanted materials. Can drop off paint cans for free. If you want to avoid the lineups, the best time to go is early Saturday morning.

Open to the public only after 6pm due to covid. Went there at 6: 45pm yesterday July 21 Tuesday and it was insanely busy. Line up would of been easily at least 2 hours. So I left, went back at 10: 30 pm and got done very fast. When it's busy it's a nightmare, I suggest if it's possible go at a later time, unless if you enjoy lining up for hours. Service is good and quick, once you're at the scale.

Staff are super nice and helpful, during covid 19 there's a waiting line but all in all nice service

Open Saturday mornings during pandemic. Arrived at 830 am. Lineup to corner of Bermondsey and Eglinton. Finished at 1010am. Good and organized otherwise.

Fantastic staff guided me to exactly where I needed to go. That meant jumping the long as I had E-waste and didn't need to weigh in and out.

It's well located for my needs and easy to enter and leave. I was able to do my dropoff and get moving again quickly.

The staff at Toronto Information 311 was very helpful is answering my questions about the opening hours.

If you can have two workers telling people you only have service to public after 6 pm, couldnt you have them writing that down on your website to save us the trip

Longer wait times during the pandemic on Saturday mornings. Expect to spend 30 minutes in line. That said, Staff is courteous and helpful. Thank you for being open and safe City of Toronto.
