We used Bernardo's funeral home 16 years ago because they were close by. We went back this time because of the service and compassion they showed our family. Gabriel and his team are amazing. Jimmy was running around at the last moment to accommodate our special requests. The attention and care was beyond our expectations! Giving us advice and guidance even now, a month later.professionals all the way.

Gabe was extremely helpful with the burial service for our daughter at a very difficult time for us. He made us feel comfortable and helped us every step of the way. He went above & beyond our expectations. Gabe is a loving caring person Thank You for being so wonderful and making this a peaceful experience.

Never did I think that I'd have to plan my father's funeral at such a young age. I was unprepared, didn't know what needed to be done or how to do it. Gabriel and the team and Bernardo helped me through each step. They were truly caring, compassionate and patient. My Father recently passed away. It is never easy to lose a parent, but definitely not easy to lose one during this Pandemic. Gabriel and the staff at Bernardo on Albion were fantastic. They were very comforting and professional. They helped us understand the limitations placed on funerals and helped us have a beautiful ceremony that truly honored my father. The compassion they showed to my family is remarkable, and they made us feel like family. I would definitely reccomend their services.

My mother passed away back in November and it was easily one of the worst events to happen in my life. Gabriel and the staff at Bernardo Funeral Home not only made sure that my father and I were able to plan and organize the funeral, but they provided a sense of comfort and were very empathetic during this time, meanwhile maintaining an extremely high level of professionalism. The facilities were clean, the lounge in the basement allowed us to share in the memories about my mom over refreshments and the viewing room was impeccable. I'm glad that after all these years since we first used Bernardo (for my grandfather's passing in 1988), Bernardo Funeral Home has only gotten better at what they do. Death is a part of life and although not easy, Gabriel and the team at Bernardo made it a little easier for us to grieve and celebrate my mom's life.
