Waited by the front for a server, she was busy on her phone. Left and went somewhere else.

Their Greek salad is amazing! The BLT was okay but not great.could have had more mayo, lettuce, and tomates.

Wow! This place has changed since the renovations. Great service, excellent food. Cute atmosphere. Please don't change. See you again!

Unaware they changed the recipe, I ordered a chicken burrito, because they used to be huge and delicious. They used to be loaded with rice and beans and veggies. Not today. I received my plate with a small burrito with fries and some shredded lettuce and chunks of tomatoes on the side. No fork, no knife, no napkins. I asked the server for those. He said, he forgot. I ate my burrito as I was hungry, not sure what I was supposed to do with the lettuce/tomato combo? Unwrap the burrito and load it up myself? Also no sour cream or salsa came with my meal. After I ate, I asked the server when did the recipe change, as it used to be a nice, big meal and lettuce/tomatoes were inside the burrito and it came with sour cream and salsa, to which the server said, oh I forgot to bring you salsa and sour cream, that was my mistake….
Later when paying he offered my meal at 50% off. Which is fair I guess, but overall I was disappointed. I rather pay full price and have a proper meal, properly served….

I don’t usually write reviews but our waitress today went out of her way to make sure we got top service.
We accidentally ordered wings and did not know they came breaded. She got the kitchen to make us a whole new batch that wasn’t breaded and did not charge us for OUR mistake. Thank you and we will be back soon!

Always a great atmosphere and food at Bernie's! Fast, friendly staff that make things very enjoyable and comfortable!

First time attending, and everything was delicious! We stopped in for a drink and appys, 9 of us showed up. The place was fairly empty and they seam to be undergoing some major renos, but the food delivered was excellent and the beer was cold. I didn't take any pictures, but I wish I did, for 12 bucks I got so many potato skins I was full! They were literally the best I've had and they are my go to app. I will be back. Looks like mixed reviews here, the staff were very welcoming and helpful and the food was yum and hot. Giver a try!

Every once in a while we give this place another shot, we've been here SEVERAL times in the past. Last time we were here we were seated and forgotten. Finally left (hostess wished us a good evening on our way out the door? Seriously?). But yeah, it's close so we thought we'd try again.

We were seated promptly and our server was quite nice. $17.99 for a soup and Caesar salad, could have added chicken to it for an extra $7.99. If I had known the salad was going to be a bowl full of lettuce with sparse dressing and a few croutons I would have ordered the chicken on it. Maybe bacon and perhaps grated cheese would have helped. As it was I couldn't finish it as it was pretty tasteless. Soup was pretty good but would have been better with some crackers or toast. There was a small slice of not quite toasted bread with the salad though.

Overall.not too bad but nothing to write home about. So yeah, it's close, the service is pretty good and the beer's cold. But next time I'm meeting friends from out of town I'll drive a little further.

The owners of this place and the other one in Byron his name is Brian deep if I've spelt his last name right back in like 1989 or 90 Brian and his brother Jim owned a place called spindles in white oaks as I used to cook their some of the food items you see now was on spindles menu as well it was an awesome place to work when I cooked for a living and every one loved the food no matter who cooked the owners are awesome and they are constant with their food I was In Byron to say hi and eat something food was topnotch the staff was friendly professional tyvm if you have not been here check it out

Was out with my fiancé this evening for dinner and it was both our first time at Bernie's. He ordered the braised beef philly cheesteak sandwich side of shepherds pie soup and I got the braised beef brisket poutine. The food was freaking awesome! Huge shout out to our waitress Caitlin! She was amazing and was a lot of fun throughout our time there. We will be returning to try more of the food as it all looks delicious. I recommend anyone to try this place; great food, great drinks, friendly staff and also spacious for large groups as well.

First time trying Bernie's! We had a amazing waitress Ainsley. Wife had chicken fingers which she said were awesome. I had the Philly Cheese steak it was good but I would have liked the mushrooms and onions sauted more and the inside of the bun toasted or grilled. Overall we enjoyed our experience. Will be making it our date night diner every Sunday.

When I lived in London I used to come here often for half priced apps after 9pm. Apps were delicious and the staff were super friendly. 4 years later when visiting family I stopped by to check it out and I am happy to see it's still great. Price of the apps after 9 (now called happy hour) have gone up a dollar or two - which is expected with inflation - but are still delicious and the portions are quite generous. Great beer selection too

Bernie’s Wonderland is one of my favourite restaurants. Staff are always nice, great food, good portions. Just had take home pick up from them today the quality and friendliness is exactly the same whether dining in or taking out. Highly recommend.

Terrible. Stood at door in an empty restaurant, waited 15 mins to be seated only to get told. Find a seat.
Ordered braised beef tacos. Didn’t realize I received a side. Taco were burnt, beef was so tough chewy. Like it was left out on the counter for hours.

Our food was great and even though we had a fairly large group, service was quick! Tasted great, friendly staff. The kid sized meals are very good portions, enough for two meals.

Their gar/par and Frank's wings are the bomb and these guys make alot of stuff from scratch. Fantastic food and a great wait staff. Definitely will be back!

I love the service at this location and the food is great. Today they went above and beyond. I am gluten free and they accidentally made a mistake with my order and the manager dropped off a new one. I have had this happen with many restaurants and they made it right the best way! Also many times that they don’t have gluten free pasta they run to the store and get some so I can enjoy their amazing chicken parm with Alfredo sauce! Thanks Bernie’s staff/manager!

I'm gluten free and night-shade free (no peppers or tomatoes). For a snack I chose the small nachos with chicken and got 2 sour creams. One of the best flat nachos I've had (Try the upper deck with pulled pork in Halifax, NS if you haven't) with very salty chips, onions and 3 cheese blend. Hit the spot. Birthday dinner. I had pizza. It was great and my daughter had calzoni. She loved. Leftovers will be lunch tomorrow

The previous visits have been much better, my fish order was still cold in the middle and my wife's meal was substituted without even asking her- the previous visits however have been so good we will give it another chance in the future more then likely

Low quality food, especially when food is a restaurants only purpose. Service fine. There are far better places.

Well waitresses discriminate against you if your pretty n solo. Went in Tonite n was rudly turned away from an older waitress with curly hair. Last night they were serving people till 1 30 am. She told me she just called last call n all I wanted was 1 drink. I'm a mom of four and wanted a drink. Lol. Why couldn't I get a drink? It was 11 10 pm.

My friend & I had a lovely time there.
We were looking for a place to chat and decided to get together at Bernie's.
The French fries and the sweet potato fries were great.
The tea & coffee were hot.
Our server was friendly and courteous.
The restaurant was clean, comfortable & lovely.
We will be back. Looking forward to trying a meal next time.

Waitress was nice and attentive but my wife's pizza looked like it came out of the microwave We should have sent it back Also my wife asked for a small white wine they said only had large ones? Way too many items on the menu as it was two pages long probably 100 different food items I am sure chef ramsay from kitchen nightmares would have a field day here I feel bad for the chef or head cook

The owner was not nice, held someone’s reservation for 40 minutes or longer we also had a reservation that we had to wait 15 minutes for then we and it started to rain and we were the being rained on while we were the only table without an umbrella
And the owner said “the people that reserved that table were here” but out of the 15 minutes of waiting and when we left not one person sat there

Had reservations…was seated waited for service. Got no service, was told someone would be out but no one came out. Sad to say won’t be back. Really miss the other staff before Covid. We were treated better before.

The food felt a little underseasoned, but it was not bad, the portions were big too. The outdoor patio had very good vibe. Overall, it was a good experience.

A bit disappointed. I ordered from Uber Eats a couple items I’ve had before plus their tomato jalapeño cheddar soup. First disappointment was to see how small of a serving the $15 soup was. It did come with a large salad but I was ordering a serving of soup, not salad. Second disappointment was the soup was said to come with warm tortilla chips which did not show up. Third disappointment was the undercooked and under salted fries with the burrito. Fourth disappointment was the poorly described burrito, I’ve ordered this before and it was much bigger with lots of yummy toppings on it to eat with a fork and knife, this time it was almost half the size with none of the described toppings. Not sure if everything is just a change in menu without an update to Uber eats menu but might hold off from ordering here again soon.

Service was great, food was not.
We ordered the pizza, wings and fingers, steak and all tasted like they were cooked from frozen.

Hopefully next time more effort can be put forth in the food.

Bernies bar and grill appears to be well managed, it was busy during the lunch hour. My server was courteous and helpful. I enjoyed the basic burger and added on mozzarella, mushrooms and bacon. I was happy with my order.

Went to Bernie's with my wife and my parents, it was my first time. Really Love The Interior really spacious dinning room with high Ceilings Comfy Decor. The Food was Really Good! Very Friendly Staff. I Had The Fettuccine Alfredo Loved It! My wife Had the "Bernies Teriyaki stir Fry" (Pictured) Which she also really Enjoyed. My Mom Had The Steak Sandwich (Pictured) she Said it was Delicious. I Convinced My Dad To try the Chicken Carbonara For his first time and he really Liked said he would order it again Easily.

Food was great. Staff was amazing. Covid restrictions adhered to during entire dining experience.

Great wings at great value (on wing days). Huge variety, but pricy if you go when they aren't on special. They've got different specials for most days though!

We had qussadillas, pulled pork sandwich, and a baked panzo. The food was above average, and we would return again.

My family is regulars in here. Was there today and had a new waitress. Was disappointed when it came time to pay this time. We always tip but this time they automatically inserted the tip amount stating it’s their policy now to automatically add it in now due to covid and many people not tipping. If this is the case it should of been shown on the bill we were handed and not just the machine. May have lost a regular family as result personally

THE Waitress was excellent. Very attentive and friendly. I expected more of an Italian sauce in my Capellini but it was more like tomato soup withlots of cheese. It was still edible. I have yet to try the other pub fare to make a fair assessment. After all pasta is not real pub fare. Nice atmosphere not loud at all.

I had a poor experience here a few years ago where the food wasn't very good. Wasn't sure what to expect when I went there but was happy with my food. I enjoyed the burger and fries I had on the patio. Nice meal.

Had the Bernie's House Brew yesterday (Pint GLass $4.50) on Special.
They had the game I was looking for on 3 screens with sounds.
HAve won a 100% fully-licensed NFL Jersey here, not doing the competition this year may have a pool going. Food is 5-Star large portions.
Late-Night Specials Menu v good.
Pass all health-inspections.

The server knew my friend so she paid basically no attention to me. Kept putting ice in my glass to water down the whiskey and make me pay for more. But the chicken was good so that's what stopped it from getting a lower score

Went here once with my roommates and had the worst experience at a restaurant ever. My burger was made up of a burned patty, rotten lettuce, and slimy tomato. My friends’ salads, too, had rotten lettuce in it. About as disgusting as food can get.

I come here once a month with some of my family members and the service is always great! The food is delicious and the atmosphere is modern. The wine and drinks lists are very good and I highly recommend to anyone looking for a new spot to try or just a place to go for lunch or dinner!

My first visit to Bernie's, we had two burgers, which were under-cooked, showing pink meat, my wife had the cod and fries which was over-cooked, dry and tasteless - I won't be returning there.

The experience was one of a rushed atmosphere however on game nights that tends to be the trend, however the staff were efficient and friendly, plus the food was delicious and well priced.

Came here for a Wednesday afternoon burger and fries, the special was crazy cheap like $6.99 for burgers and fries
