My wife ordered a platter by phone. The staff called back in a minute and asked if she wanted a garlic rice which my wife approved. So we picked up the food and drove home only to find out that we were charged $10 more! What a ripoff. If it’s an upgrade or whatever, you are supposed to explain it to the customer. Very bad customer service.

Cute little restaurant spot that has premade mains thats heated with a basin. I believe they cook throughout the day and replenish it every now and then.

Overall, good selection of filipino dishes. Hard to really know what they were but staff is willing to explain each dish if needed. Choice between one or two meats with rice for a decent price just above $10. Also have all day breakfast with garlic rice, fried egg and a slice of tomato + cucumber + a raisin. Sort of cute.

Beef Pares Silog 5/5 - definitely can see why its a popular dish.
- garlic rice was very fragrant and heavy on the garlic which was delicious for me, fried garlic provided that aroma that made the dish very good
- eggs were well cooked, yolk was oozing giving it a nice creamy texture to the rice and extra 'sauce'
- not overly salty dish either
- beef was tender, small chunks but very fragrant in soy sauce and sweetness, good balance of garlic in the sauce but not overpowering which can happen

Dinner meals 4/5
- had the squid which was nice, seasoning was very standard and you can taste the squid shine on its own, a bit one noted for this dish but overall enjoyable if you like the soy + squid combination with a hint of acidity
- the other dish was a beef + tomatoey sauce with some veggies, i'm sorry to say i dont remember what it was but flavours were well blended and beef was tender, would go for this again if i can choose!

Halo Halo 4/5
- flan on top was delicious, creamy and smooth but I was told to mix it all together, honestly wouldve been happy to just eat the flan!
- ube ice cream was coconutty which I anticipated, the ube notes are present but I think overall ube is hard to really stand out
- somewhat on the sweet side but not overpowering
- jackfruit bits were great for texture, beans and such at the bottom was present and provided a good amount
- decent price for what its worth, very pretty for pictures!

Overall would come back for a quick meal thats relatively cheap! Good value for sure. My filipino friend approves

I give 0 star to the cashier. She is so unfriendly! This is how she ask: what else!? And when she was handing my receipt, "here! "
