I recently had the misfortune of purchasing a dishwasher from BestBuy, and my experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. The delivery process, orchestrated by BestBuy in partnership with Metro Supply Chain Group, has left me with a damaged kitchen, endless frustration, and a complete lack of accountability from the company.

From the moment the dishwasher arrived at my doorstep, I sensed trouble. The delivery team, seemingly untrained and careless, managed to inflict significant damage to my kitchen during the installation process. Despite documenting the damages immediately through written complaints, verbal conversations, and a plethora of photographic evidence, my efforts to seek compensation for the destruction have been met with outright refusal from BestBuy.

Their customer service, which boasts unending hold times and a baffling lack of empathy, only added to the distress. Hours upon hours spent on the phone have yielded nothing but empty promises and a continuous runaround, leaving me feeling unheard and utterly frustrated.

To make matters worse, BestBuy decided to involve a company called Metro Supply Chain Group, presumably to handle the evidence and compensation process. However, it quickly became apparent that Metro Supply Chain Group was not interested in addressing my legitimate concerns. Instead, they fabricated evidence and provided fraudulent reasons to coerce me into billing my home insurance company to cover the damages.

This level of dishonesty and complete disregard for customer satisfaction is appalling. BestBuy, a company that claims to prioritize customer service, has proven to be nothing more than a corporate entity willing to sacrifice integrity for profit. The fact that they would employ a company like Metro Supply Chain Group, known for unethical practices, only further tarnishes their reputation.

In conclusion, my experience with BestBuy has been a complete disaster. From damaged property to a lack of accountability and the involvement of a dubious third party, this entire ordeal has left me questioning the ethics and values of BestBuy as a company. I strongly advise potential customers to think twice before trusting BestBuy with their purchases, as the aftermath of dealing with their customer service and delivery partners is a nightmare I wouldn't wish upon anyone.

Automated ai customer service and agents who are not in store AND no ability to take calls about specific inquiries at the store is RIDICULOUS for a brick and mortar retail company. Hire more people or pay your employees. Horrible experience. Shopping elsewhere. Dying company.

Great customer service, specifically from Ashley and Olivia at the front desk. They helped make processing what I thought was going to be a difficult return extremely easy and helped me trade in some old cell phones.

I've been trying to purchase a cellphone and was using their website to put in an order with the "call me back" feature, promising to have an employee reach out to me within 24/48 hours to let me know I could come in to pickup my order. I never heard back. I submitted at least 8 requests over the span of 3 weeks, waiting to hear back and I got nothing. Eventually I gave up and came into the store personally. I came in at around 745, thinking that the store closed at 9. (It closes at 8, that was my fault but since I was already there I figured someone could help me) I asked an employee about my problem and the "supervisor" came up and told her to "stall for 15 minutes so we can close and don't have to deal with her. " He thought I couldn't hear him. I would've been happy to have come back another day, but having overheard that I am really upset and will never be coming back to this store.

Thanks to store manger Tim, he is very kind and professional, he was able to solve problem right away!

I came to this location the other day to grab a a tv for my room since I’m moving and I oughtta say there was a very nice young lady named Seanna who I had spoke to on the phone earlier and when I came in she knew remembered and knew exactly who I was and helped me tremendously! Appreciate that. Great location:)

Most staff at this location are good, but Simone at the customer service desk is awful. I’ve dealt with her twice on price protect products and she does whatever she can do to not give you a refund on the price difference. I know the rules (I used to work for the company) and she just does whatever she can to not give the difference in the price back. She will spend 15 min on her phone disputing you. It’s unacceptable and rude. I will no longer shop there.

Visited to buy 3 appliances for the basement kitchenette. Although there was just one person in the entire appliances section, Mr. Ameeth, he was extremely efficient, professional and friendly. While I was waiting to be served another customer couple was really giving him hard time, but he was responding to them patiently and trying to help and offer all possible assistance. I was impressed by his patience and customer service. On our turn he showed us all the available models/makes per our requirement and completed the sale process very quickly. Although we changed appliances make/model few times while he was preparing invoice, he accepted changes with patience. In summary excellent experience, strongly recommended.

2 days ago this would have been a 0 rating but for the actions of one individual that salvaged the sale and over delivered in the face of adversity - me (apologies to some of the team as I came in hot) but kudos to Tim (possibly from Ireland but not great with accents) - Best Buy had better reward you for your actions and professionalism!

I have been to this location a number of times throughout the years. No offense, but everytime i step into this store and ask for help or want more information on a specific item, it takes 20 minutes or more for workers to help me, and this is when the store is completly empty. There are always workers standing around doing nothing, and when i ask multiple employees, nicely for help they say "i will get someone to help you", then they go to the back and i dont see them, nor anyone that they presumably said would be able to help me. This has happened like literally 10 different times to myself, and 3 other family memebers i know. I dont understand how hard it is to get decent customer service or help. Every employee and manager does not care and is always absent. Its actually disgusting.

Don't go here. You can't even get a supervisor to speak to. They kept telling me supervisor is busy even though the girl was talking to them through the ear piece and would not let me speak to anyone after 20 minutes is back and forth.

I went to Best Buy to get my device checked out by the Geek Squad because I had a 3-month old laptop that was no longer charging. I was helped by Mo over at Geek Squad and he was an absolute godsend! He was so helpful and was willing to try multiple things to identify the issue. Ultimately, he helped me out with the situation and got my device replaced.

Thank you Mo for your wonderful service. I was really aprehensive about coming in, thinking it would take weeks to get this issue resolved, and you helped me out right away. You gave me one less thing to worry and stress about!

At the front entrance the employee (Tammy) was very disrespectful, she said we don't have manners when entering the store. I think bestbuy needs to teach her manners on how to welcome customers at the entrance.

I went to the store and consulted the customer service staff and one technician couple times during last 10 days, did return and exchange. Their service was extraordinary and every one of them was very patient and professional. I am very very impressed. Thank you!

Worst shopping experience ever, just left the winstonchurchhiil and Dundas store (Oakville), try to purchase a nikon camera lens as a gift, wanted to do a price match with an advertised Canadian Retailer but was told by the manager that they could not do it because the price was too low, he also cautioned me against making the purchase from this other smaller Canadian Retailer because they didn't have a good reputation (this he did without any real evidence) he was willing to destroy his competitor because they could not match the lower price. No plans to return anytime soon.

Just finished a "Curbside Pick Up" at this location and it was SIMPLE! Pulled in, emailed my arrival and was greeted and packed in less then 5 minutes. The attendant was easy going, polite and recognized my order from a simple text i referenced. Great Job BB Oakville!

Very bad service. Their store manage has not a honesty and integrity personality. They are providing in-store delivery during COVID-19 on their website, but their store manager said not, due to the COVID-19 issue. If he didn't feel safe for customer, he shall shutdown the store. 2nd when I tried to order something in store for next day pickup which I didn't want to delivery to my home directly, he reject me right away and don't provide any solution.

The geek squad here was incredibly helpful! I had an HP all in one desktop which I had originally purchased just over a year ago from the Best Buy at a Mississauga location (Heartland). About 11 months after I bought it, it died. The staff at Heartland were extremely unhelpful. They did send it off for repairs but did not provide me with a replacement even though I had a 4 year warranty through them. I received it back after 4 weeks, and it died again today. About a month after it was fixed. I refused to go back to the heartland location and opted for this location after my experience. The geek squad techs, specifically Ryan and Parth, were so kind and understanding of my frustrations, especially with the fact that I work 100% remotely and relied on my computer everyday, including today. They exchanged my computer for a newer desktop, monitor and money left over which they gave back to me. All of this done within an hour. They really went out of their way and I am so appreciative of their efforts.
I will always choose this location for any of my tech needs and I implore you to go the same. The customer service was outstanding!

Usual best buy experience. What is specific to this location is that:
1. It's always busy and it's not easy to get proper attention.
2. Relatively long lines for checkout / return. Sometimes, they mis-manage the queue

Excellent customer service and staff. I went to purchase echo dots and WeMo mini smart plugs and noticed a discrepancy between their online and in store pricing. The manager came over and immediately matched the online price without any questions asked. Every department has staff roaming around the area, so you would always find someone to answer questions.

Went on boxing day, huge line up to go into store. Was looking for specific TV asked someone and he said well all the TV's are on the floor and that was it. Then asked a different guy and he looked in back and sure enough our model wasn't on the floor. Then trying to get out of store was difficult. They should have just left Tv is storage area and you go in pay for it and pick them up at loading docks would have made everyone's life easier.

It was disgraceful. I was discriminated against on boxing day when I went there to get my tv. I went with my dad who had recently gotten a surgery and cannot lift heavy objects. We were told at the counter that someone will help us at the door for carryout. When we reached the door, the people there told us that they can't help so my dad and I somehow managed to carry our tv to our car and load it in. As we were leaving, we noticed that the people at the door were helping another customer out all the way to his door. When we talked to the manager to explain to her how upset we were, she just told us to calm down and as soon as we left, she started laughing at my dad. It is so disappointing to see that racism still exist so openly in Canada. That manager was the most racist lady I have ever seen. DISGUSTING!

The selection is great but the staff are not. Walked in found the smart plug got to the cash and it rang up at $ 110 for 2 smart plugs when the impulse buy select had 1 plug of the same brand for $30. After pointing this out and look at the display and the fact her name tag said supervisor we gave up and bought 2 from the impulse buy select.

Each employee gives u a different version when u ask them a question. They are some very knowledgeable staff but some of the associates do not even bother to find out the correct answer.

Horrible customer service. If item shows as being 'in-store' then there's a chance it's not in the store, so I'm told. They will order and have it shipped, but it gets shipped by Canada Post. Person at the store put in the order for me and it is getting delivered to the store. Canada post tracking has been telling me my item is in transit and will be delivered in 1-11 days for the past 6 days. They have stock of the item today supposedly, but won't give me one saying I have to take delivered of the Canada post delivered item.

Best Buy is, maybe, the best showroom store today. However; síntomas I find myself in a trap because I go to bestbuy thinking about a specific product resulting they don't have it in store and they refer me to their website. Found out this after waiting long time for a staff to pointing in the direction for the product I was looking for. This store is understaffed.

The staff here are great, from the greeter at the door to the sales staff on the floor, to the management. I bought a printer from Best Buy today. It was too heavy for me to carry, so a salesperson cheerfully offered to load it into my car for me. When he slid it onto the front seat (it wouldn't fit in the trunk), the door lock button was accidentally pressed, so when he closed the car door, I got locked out of my car. The manager arranged for a taxi to come to the store and drive me home, so that I could get my spare key. The taxi then drove me back to the store with my spare key, and Best Buy picked up the cost of the taxi fare. The staff was extremely apologetic and accommodating. On top of all that, they had price matched my printer, so that I got 10% off the competitor's price, which was already $130 cheaper than Best Buy's price. I highly recommend going to this Best Buy location, which is at Dundas and 403, on the border between Oakville and Mississauga.

You want to go here because it’s Best Buy And you know all of your geek fantasies will be answered. The problem is that there is a lot of merchandise and it’s hard to find help with in the store. They just never seem to have enough staff especially on days when there are major sales on going. The good part is they allow you to walk around the store and look at different things without bugging you every five minutes. They have the attention because they are the only Best Buy near there and clearly they take advantage of that distinction. But no your product before you walk in the door because there is not a lot of technical help.

In-store staff is good but their appliance delivery/installation system is screwed up. I ordered a dishwasher with delivery and installation. To make a long story short, they gave me the wrong time window for the installer to come so I ended up waiting for 5 hours for nothing, then the installer refused to make any effort to get a technician here earlier to make things better for me (technician had three houses scheduled before me but they refused to change the order). Then the installer came and found that there was a dent in my new dishwasher so they took away my existing unit, told me they can't install the new damaged one, so here I am stuck for the next two weeks with no dishwasher. Their delivery/installation process is designed solely based on incompetence of their suppliers and with no regard for good customer experience.

The service and people there seem pretty nice and willing to helo you by going to dig through the store room to find a last of an item for me for example.

The store itself has a bit of a cluttered over -modernized tech style of decor or feels a little like walking into an apple store or something like that, I preferred the store layouts when they wereore retro with aisles etc.

Overall it's a great shopping experience, with a wide selection of items and unbeatable sale prices. They also price match local competitors with a additional 10‰ of the difference (not the total) discounted on top.
