EXTREME POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND UNPROFESSIONAL! Please avoid going to this location. So basically I have bought a lightweight stroller online for my daughter but I wasn’t satisfied with the purchase as the stroller was so heavy so I decided to return it. First I was served by a Chinese young lady with long hair wearing glasses. She said that the stroller is non refundable as it has been opened and then called such a rude guy called Nick to serve me instead and he offered me a store credit and wouldn’t give me a refund he said that their system won’t let him to give me a full refund and every store has its policy. What kind of policy is that where customer has no right to get their money back when is not satisfied with their product? So after wasting my time talking to this guy I decided to walk away and went to another location in Scarborough to return my stroller. They opened the box and checked the product and gave me a full refund right away. Please give more training to your staffs of how to solve customer problems and have good manners.

Staff is very helpful, and it's a big store. Deals aren't great compared to other stores in the area.

Placed a curb side order, can't even call the store location. The phone number does not even go through.called the customer service number and the automated assistance really isn't user friendly. Literally got to press a random number in order to get a hold of someone and as usual like any other company including Best Buy, it is all "covid-19" excuses. This company really needs to be more organized and not lie to customers when asking simple questions.

They called me and told me my credit card was charged accidentally because of their mistake. And asked me to go into the store to do refund! This is so annoying!

Best place to curbside shop! They have your order ready for pickup within a half hour unlike other stores. Fast friendly customer service.

Best buy is a good store, but customer service in this specific location has declined. I don't mean the cash but the people out in the aisles who are suppose to help you. I get if they're tired but some flat out have attitude for no reason. Highly recommend retraining for a specific few. In the last year I went to ask for a new laptop and the staff gave me something already opened to which I caught immediately. BEWARE and check! But mistakes happen. What is not nice is to be rudely spoken to and lied to.

Nowadays you wanna go for curbside but the customer service don't even bother to pick up there phone. If you can avoid as much as possible, there are other locations with kinder honest customer service reps. Seriously pre covid I just went over to STC or Pickering cause their service reps are so polite and helpful.

Ordered a microphone online due to curbside pick up only its been 3 days didn't know it takes 3 days to pack a microphone i used to work in a retail business and people that did online orders always took there time cause they never cared for them and always waited for the customer to come in and complain this is absolute horrible. 3 days to pack a blue yeti microphone horrible service

Management of this location is terrible - make a decision to let customers returning goods stand in cold weather to wait 40 mins for a return, while there’re only 4 returns ahead of me. I tried to understand whether this is because there were cases of fraudulent returns so an in-person return is required - But no, bestbuy Oakville has an established process to enable customers to stay in the car at the designated parking spot to wait for a return being processed.

How is the best business practice not implemented across the board? What makes Best Buy Markham a special case. Internal Auditor from HQ should take a look on this.

Feel like this location is being ran by a kid.

Came to this location twice to return a product. First time took about 30 mins and I left because there was three people ahead of me. I tried to return my product again for the second time and stand outside for 45 mins in the cold and there was only a customer returning something in front of me but they were chit chatting and no transaction was made until the end as I was looking to see what was taking so long. Not a single staff greeted me nor cared that I was standing for 45 mins outside. Worst customer service and unprofessional. Spoke to the manager and his response was "Sorry, it is first come first serve" and disclosed what the previous customer was trying to returned. Not a single staff member cared at all. Dont waste your time here.

In these unprecedented times the last thing that we need is arrogant and rude representatives. Best buy should choose who is representing them. As it is, due to lockdown, the hired people do not have to talk to customers; the little that they do, they are rude.

Terrible experience! Received a damaged product and the store would do nothing to help. We were given a number to call customer service and were told they would assist us. After waiting 3 hours for a call back the customer service line said because the purchase was done in store that only the store could assist. We are currently still stuck with our damaged product and no way to get a hold of someone to help. Do not buy from best buy. Terrible experience.

Return center staff are very slow and very uninformed. They need to ask their supervisor for help for every little thing. I went to do a simple exchange and it took almost 2hours for the staff to sort things out and get my out the door. Terrible customer service.

Bad customer services, 2 employee helping one customer and when I asked one of them to help me he said he is busy and will get back to me and never did. I asked another employee about something and he said it isn't available and mu husband found it on a shelf!

Try to buy a lock but can’t find any staff to help. Someone ask me to line up at the cashier but end up no stock even the system show available. They need to fix their system to show correct stocks.

Had my first and the best experience at this Best Buy on busy Friday night, my son went to purchase new head phones, my daughter left my husband’s gold ring at the mac books display table, we didn’t realize until we arrived home hours later. We drove back to the store, now almost at closing time. I encountered the assistant manager just as I walked in and solicited her help, on giving a description of the ring she acknowledged that it was turned in and in their safe. We were ecstatic. She couldn’t confirm if it was a customer or employee who turned it in. We are truly grateful for the quick action and honesty of that person and for Best Buy securing it. Thank you!

Went in today with an intention to buy a laptop, asked various employees in "blue Best Buy uniforms" and was given the answers "sorry I work in other department blah blah", when finally someone told me to go to the Geek Squad for assistance, the supervisor there was just as useful as his chair, he told me to look for people in the computer department when clearly there was none in sight. Terrible customer service after chasing down one employee willing to go to the back and grab one to check out.

Excellent service. I bought a laptop for my wife. I did a lot of research before I go and I still comes up lot of questions (as I don't know lot about computer). I can't decide until a staff called Raymond serve me. He is very patient and answered all my questions. He gave me some advices that I don't even think about of. Finally I made my decision and feel comfortable with it.

Went in early for boxing day to get the switch because gf really wanted Mario Party. Got to the game section and picked up a box. I checked with the store associate if the box I had came with the game. He went to the back and never came back out. After 15mins, I looked for him. When I found him, he had no recollection of our conversation. Because he took my box, I asked him for it. They said that the box doesn't matter, I had to go directly to checkout to buy the system. *THERE WAS NO INDICATION OF THIS* By this time there was already a huge line up that built up so I'm sure others have already bought out the system. I tried to compromise for a raincheck on the price, seeing as I've spent so much time waiting there. All I got was they couldn't do anything. I sacrificed my sleep for nothing. Should've just shopped with Amazon. Happy ending though, I got my switch at a nearby Walmart (not the mall one)

I dont like best buy any more. Actually they are liars. I went there to buy a tablet which was posted on sale. They told me that there are no more in the stock. That night sale was getting over so I decided to come over next morning. I left store like 7-8 PM and returned 9am next morning. I was surprised, a bunch of same tablets were sitting there. I found that they put limited quantity on sale but they tell other people. In stead they post like 'while the quantity last' but they still have in their stock.

I came here on Boxing Day and it was jam-packed. Thankfully there was no evidence of understaffing - employees are there to help anyone snatch that last-minute deal. My visit to the Mobile department in particular landed me not just a new phone and plan, but also $300 worth of gift cards from Best Buy and Amazon - throw in a free case and screen protector.what more could I have got on no other day than Boxing Day?

Waited 10+ minutes to pick up a web order, there was no one in front of me, i was right at the counter. Employees just kept walking by me telling me "sorry we're busy at the moment, someone will be right with you", this was at 9: 30pm Tuesday night, there was barely anybody in the store.

The guy over at Geek Squad was awful helping me. Plus the prices are so inflated. It actually makes more sense to go to your local computer repair shop. Other than that, it is your everyday BB. It's fairly empty and not a lot of people go shopping in there. I miss their CD section.

Bought a TV on sale that turned out to be damaged. I returned the TV for an exchange however they didn't have any more in stock. They refunded the TV with no issue. However I asked if they could offer me a comparable deal, on ANY other TV of similar size. After waiting at the customer service desk for approximately 10 minutes, I saw 2 associates walk up to me - one was clearly brand new and receiving instructions on where the TV section was located in the store. He was sent over to "help" me, when clearly this was an issue I thought required a manger.

He asked me if I wanted to see some TV's; I let him know that I want to know specifically if they could price match or offer me a comparable deal to the TV I had returned. At this point the new employee looked back at what appeared to be the more senior, knowledgeable employee, who gave a run around answer essentially saying go look at the TV's in the TV isle.

After being walked around the TV isle for 2-3 minutes, I let the new employee know that it's better I save him some time because I know how to walk the TV isle myself, and left. I felt bad for the new employee as it looked like he was given a task beyond his capabilities, and as a customer was left annoyed that a reasonable solution was not found, and not even attempted. I expected more from BestBuy.

Ordered the product online and came to pickup at this location for the first time, ever. Customer service was very attentive. They ound my product from the back and checked me out. It took less than 5 minutes from check-in to check-out. First impressions make good or make disappointments. This customer was very pleased.

Hello Best Buy, anyone here? I've been trying to ask a simple question for quite some time but the very few employees rushed away somewhere at the back and had no interest in saying even Hi? ! Ah, yes, my lucky moment after 15 minutes. Oh, not the right person, she doesn't know what NAS is. The someone else who works in the area and might help is finally here but hasn't heard of QNAP, Synology or anything that sounds like that. Where did I see those companies? Ok never BestBuy.ca dude, and I did see that they were sold by 3rd parties but came to see if you had any NAS in the stores. Oh well, Future Shop wasn't that bad, was it?

What a great store. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by this young man named Dante. He was so knowledgeable and very helpful. I told him my dilemma and he gave me some great advice. Good job kid, I hope someone reads this and tells you about this review. You left a long lasting impression on me.

Worst customer service. None of them cared if you are there to buy stuff or not. Felt not welcome and bad attitude of the reps made me leave the store. Bought stuff from Amazon instead.will not visit Best buy ever again.
