Went to best buy to buy new chargers and cords for our two new phones.such a variety i wasnt sure which one was best.i asked 2 employees who were both sitting at desks on phones.they just directed me back to were i started looking.i thought one of them would have followed to assist but after a few minutes went back and still sitting there.terrible customer service! Walked out of store and promised myself to never go back!

Recently purchased a trio of appliances.
Jorge was able to help me put together a great package and was nothing but helpful and very friendly!

Very happy with the delivery as well; I ordered them and the delivery for all 3 was within a week compared to department stores like the Brick and Leons that typically estimate 4 to 6 week delivery.

In the last 8 months my family of four all got new cell phones here. The best products and friendly staff. Laura who helped us hook up the phones made it easy. Definitely coming here for all future electronic products

My mom and I went in to get a phone, we encountered multiple issues throughout the purchasing and phone plan process however, Sarah, the mobile team leader, sat through the entire process with us for almost 4 hours. Seriously, she needs a raise. Sarah not only helped us, ran the entire mobile station while helping her coworkers and making sure lined up customers were also being looked after. Did it take awhile? Yes. Did we leave with two properly set up iPhones with phone cases, screen savers and two rather generous gift cards as an apology for the lengthy stay? Yes. My family consistently finds ourselves back as this Best Buy for their good deals, helpful staff (another honourable mention: Parameet) and consistent quality of service. If you are looking for quality and assurance that you are in good hands, this is your store.

Geek squad: —-Bad experience! I took my desktop to be fixed, after a month took it home but had issues again so had to take it back to the store. Took it again home after another month and now after, conveniently 95 days, warranty expires at 90, I have same issue as before…. Never again.

I purchase almost all of my electronics through this location. Yesterday I had my first bad experience here. I placed two orders online for curbside pickup. When I arrived, I checked in for both of my items. 15 minutes later, guy comes and only has one item. I said there is a mistake, i should have another item, and he is like you have to wait for the confirmation e-mail. I'm like i wouldn't be here if I hadn't received the email. Guy goes and comes back and now he wanted the number I already provided. No sorry nothing.
15 minutes later another guy comes and asks for my id. He said I entered my name wrong.turns out i didn't enter anything wrong. Wasted half an hour of my time. The guy is turning around to leave and i keep looking at him, there is no apology nothing, and last minute he goes sorry.
Normally its not a problem, I can wait, but this time, I had somewhere to be and the experience was bad.

Carries a wide-range of electronics for a fair price. Some of the items are priced way above what they should though, like PS4 controllers for still $75? What. However, the staff are all friendly and know about their products too.

Ordered a vacuum online, turned out to have less suction than my ex-wife. Tried to return online wasn't given directions on how to return. Tried to return in store. Dealt with the "lovely" Karen at customer service. Ive never seen someone put less effort into customer service. When I told her I'd never purchase from best buy again, she said " that's understandable".

Don't be a Karen, Karen!

Went to pick up a mirco-HDMI to HDMI cable. Due to COVID-19, they don't allow anyone to enter the store. As a result, they added me on a virtual list and was told that the waiting time is going to be around 50-60 minutes. Plus, I am required to sit in my car and wait for them to call me.

Almost 2 hours later and I am still waiting. I think they might eradicate Covid-19 before it's my turn. Slowest service on planet Earth.

Do not buy something to "Pick Up In Store"! Reserved an Oculus Quest 2 for my Autistic sister, got the confirmation email and the credit card was all set up. Only to get an email 45 minutes later saying the order was cancelled due to "low stock". Don't say it's in stock then! Tried to call the store for some help and only their answering machine picked up, no customer service. Whatever you do, buy it in store. Don't use this pick up in store falsehood and get the same results.

Do not order from this Best Buy during the lockdown. The management is using dangerous and very shady tactics.

We ordered curb side pick up and tried to call before going to check about the status of their curb side service. The phone line was completely down. When we got there the parking lot was full of cars and there were no signs anywhere on what to do. We had to leave our car and go talk to someone in person, and were told it's a 3 and half hour wait to pick up a product I'd already paid for. It's the middle of winter and they expect people to wait in their cars that long?

Management is clearly incompetent, and I believe they took down the phone line to avoid providing more info to customers. They could have had an automated message warning people about the wait, or had some sort of que system with appointment times. They had none of this, just people confused and wandering around the parking lot, breaking COVID safety measures.

Best Buy needs new management here. I wish I could give this location zero stars.

No in-store shopping even though it says it’s available, also when I made my online order the credit card was charged but I was still unable to pick up my order as it was not done processing. Imagine how frustrating it is to know that the item you want to Get for Christmas is right in there but you’re not allowed to go into the store and pick it up.you have to wait hours for them to prepare the order for you and then if the store is closes before your order is ready then you’re out of luck. Thanks for nothing

Company is holding a laptop hostage that is already paid for. Phone lines are down and there is no way to get in contact or do anything. I went in person and they said “it may be a 6 hour wait” I’ve been waiting a full 24 hours. Unreal

January 2021 - If you're going to the store to place an order while you wait; don't do it as the wait can exceed an hour when they're busy. Instead place an order for store pickup online at bestbuy.ca and wait for notification that your order is ready for pickup.

Great service when the store was originally open and now they're handling things very well with COVID restrictions!
Just be sure to know what product you want before you come since the store is closed for customers!

Worst customer service ever. Recently bought as laptop. It came with a few promos. Some that were free. Our sales person didn't even mention it to us.
I ended up buying them separately. Do research before buying. Sales people are not helpful.

Only store in town u can't call in and ask questions during covid. I will gladly call tje competitor to see if they have the stock I need. The internet can be so unreliable for that kind of information. So I have 2 options.come to your store for a potential waste of my time.or call the competitors and find my stock.talking to your customer care center really only goes so far because they will tell me "o looks like it says online we have in stock there"

I ordered an elliptical and waited a month for the delivery only to find on the day of delivery they had cancelled my order. I asked why she said she didn't know maybe because they didn't have any. She said they didn't charge me which I wasn't satisfied with I wanted my order, she said to order again now that the sale was over. Don't buy anything from best buy

Had a salesperson assisting my son and I and noticed when the salesperson turned his back on us that his jeans were down that you could see his underwear. Unacceptable! Wear the uniform properly!

I wanted to share my GREAT experience buying a new phone at the Stoney Creek Best Buy. A special thank you to the store associate Andrew who was super helpful in providing us with great customer service including helping us pick out a phone (we chose the iPhone SE). Overall Andrew was very patient, knowledgeable and professional. Moreover he clarified the great value of purchasing the Geek Squad monthly protection plan (and for doing this we got a free OtterBox case and screen protector). And he was even kind enough to install the screen protector for us too. Overall it was a great experience (even better than dealing with the Apple Store). Thanks again Andrew! Great job!

Aug 1st. Went in to get my wife's phone looked at. Didn't have to wait long. It seemed well organized given the Covid procedures in place.
The NerdsonSite guy (Austin) was helpful and willing to take a look at the phone even though they dont normally service phones. He fixed it in a matter of seconds, no charge and we were on out way. Everyone was courteous and helpful.

Worst experience I have ever had with a store in my life. Pretty much the whole brand is to blame, but I will never shop with best buy again. Made me go through hoops for nearlyb2 months just to offer me a 25$ dollar compensation all the while trying to charge me for something they messed up. Over 30 hours of talking to customer service and getting absolutely no where, to be offered pretty much nothing was like a slap to the face. I would give zero stars if it were possible.

Great staff, friendly, and it's nice seeing a business still heavily following COVID19 protocols, there is someone at the door monitoring how many people are in there at a time making it a very comfortable shopping experience for someone like myself who has no immune system.

Awesome experience at Best Buy. My headset microphone had broke the day before, and I went to the store in search of a new one. I really wanna commend Matthew M for helping me. Super friendly and polite helping me get the item I needed since I couldn't find it. He asked me how my day was, what games I play, and really made the employee-customer interactions very pleasant. He definitely deserves a raise with the way he treated me today. Thumbs up for Matthew!

Hopefully the service I received was due to it being the holidays and frustrations of employees got to them. It was not good.but I understand that during Christmas time it can be hectic and tiring.
I did end up finding and buying what I wanted, which was a great price. I searched a dozen different places and the price was literally the best here.
The service would normally make me never return.so if doesn't improve on my next visit it will be the last time I enter the store.if it does I will gladly edit the 2 star rating to reflect a more positive experience.

Edit: I have returned and had slightly better customer service. Still not amazing, but I can say it was better and the 2 employees I dealt with we're friendly. All I could say is that if you're dealing with a customer, don't stop to have personal conversations while they are just standing there waiting for an answer.:) All in all its a good place with ok service.

If it was possible to give a negative rating I would. The customer service from geek squad is horrible. DO NOT take your computer any where near Best Buy. In 5 days they couldn't even install a video card that was in stock. They kept lying and making up excuses. This is possibly the worst experience in retail I have ever had. Don't waste your time with these people.

I bought a new laptop from the Stoney Creek mountain location along with a Microsoft Office package and additional software. Paid the Geek Squad to install new software and remove bloatware. I foolishly left without realizing I may need the actual licence for Office in the future. Behold, I needed my computer reset and now have no way to reinstall it. Upon calling Best Buy I was told that it was impossible because they SHOULD have given me the licence number. They would look into it. It has been months and I have not been able to get this resolved and now with COVID I cannot even get through to them. Save money, time and headache, go anywhere else.

Customer service? Doesn’t exist over the phone with Best Buy.asked a lady if they had a specific cord before I come to the store, didn’t understand my explanation as to why my new one had broken, when I said I’m looking for an HDI cord she replies “ we have a variety of cords “ which didn’t help anything I asked then got frustrated 2 minutes in because she “ couldn’t hear me “ and that was that.will be coming into the store now hoping I get better service than I just did.

The staff working at the computer section are very questionable. Keeps trying to sell you on warranty when you said no to it, then they try to break it down for you even more. On top they TRIED to add on the "start up" where they would "load all my drivers" on the computer for about $150 WITHOUT telling me and it would take 2 days. I'm sorry ITS A FRESH COMPUTER! THEY ALREADY DO ALL THAT AND IT TAKES 45 MINS ON ITS OWN ONCE YOU TURN IT ON! (pending on computer / and speed of your internet)

Haven't been in a while. Better deals on new appliances elsewhere. Looked around. Tv has come a long way. Nothing new there. Bought one once there. Still good to have nearby for help with electronic equipment.

Geek Squad is the worst service ever. Calling the customer service that is not from Canada and can’t speak or hear English is frustrating DO NOT BUY INTO GEEK SQUAD!
Find another way of protecting your new equipment or buy it somewhere else.
Never again! If I could give a minus five star review I would.

Good selection of products.and a very clean and organized store. Sales people should be paid more in a place like this but they do a good job considering its minimum wage.
