Never going back to this location. The Spanish blonde lady manager is absolutely horrible and gave us a hard time for no reason when trying to make a purchase. They lost $3000 worth of business just because of her ego. Not sure how someone that incompetent was made a manager but it should be investigated…

Visited the store this evening to shop for a laptop for my son. I had the pleasure of a young gentleman, Jordan, who approached us to offer any assistance. Initially, I thought I could do my own research, however, I thought I would seek his expertise and guidance. I must say, he was very knowledgeable and professional, and explained the features to us in very easy to understand terms. Would highly recommend the store for all of your electronic needs, and specifically ask for Jordan, if you are looking for guidance and recommendation on their products. Great experience overall ans good value.

RACISM AT ITS HEIGHT

Went to buy a laptop today at Best Buy on Maple Avenue in Milton, and could not get any help at all.

There was a very helpful person Abdullah who seemed frustrated as he kept calling for help, and he tried to help me, but did not know much about laptops as he was in a different department. We waited 15 minutes and finally we decided to leave. Came with the intention of buying the surface laptop and a gas stove for my wife; we left the store as there was no one to help. We had a couple of workers who seen this brown man (me) looking for help, don’t want to be racist, but the workers (all white folks) walked up to everyone who was a white person and asked them if they needed help, but just ignored me. Did not want to believe that this was racism, but could not help and look at it realistically.

We want to say that we in Canada are not racist, but we feel it, and the people try to ignore it. Shame on Best Buy for having racist white staff working there. Got a video for proof, but could not post it here, will be posting on FB.

UPDATE: Waited a week and absolutely no reply or response from BEST BUY, it just shows how much they really care, they have gotten too big for their boots, that a review like mine won’t make a difference.

Second visit to a Best Buy in two days. Today was the Milton location. I knew exactly what I wanted to purchase (Headphones) down to make and model number. Just needed to hear them first. "Sorry, can't do that. You have an Android phone and our input jack takes Apple only". Did not offer to find an adaptor. Just, tough luck.
Store is virtually empty and these fools can't bother to find an adaptor to make a sale. Unbelievable. If customer service (Hell, any service) is important to you, DON'T visit Best Buy, you're bound to be frustrated and disappointed.
The EXACT same thing happened at the Dundas location in Oakville yesterday. These people only want your money if they can expend the least amount of energy possible.
BTW Almost 3/4 of the world's phones are Android.

My daughter (16 yrs old) wanted to upgrade her laptop. Jordan was wonderful. He listened to my daughter’s wish list in what she was looking for and steered her in the right direction. My daughter bought herself a Mac:).

Next, my daughter dealt with the Geek Squad dept. She had the pleasure in speaking with Rida and Ishan. These two employees were awesome as well. You could tell they really enjoy helping customers and we cracked a few jokes with them as they seemed like they made a great team.

I hope management reads this review and gives some recognition to these 3 folks. They really went over and above and have a new customer for life.

I was at Milton Best Buy to get a phone. Customer Service staff was not helpful. I wanted to see the phone before buying, but Manpreet was not willing to show. Also she mentioned that the display price is wrong and she was checking a printout for updated prices. Why can't they update the display price? Very slow, unreliable service along with very poor customer service led me to go to another store to buy a new phone.

I bought Apple Airpods Apple but has problem I call Best buy they said it was final sale no return or exchange then I went to Apple and here is the big problem they told me this AirPods are fake not from Apple it’s Apple inc.
I claim this issue with Best buy they return half amount because was final sale
I recommend no one should buy AirPods from Best buy

I've only visited this Best Buy once and I'm afraid to say I won't be visiting this location again. The guy in the phone department had absolutely no manners, started to get rude, then angry.

All I was asking him to do was to replicate the same process that another Best Buy did for me 2 days ago, which was apparently against their policy. Which makes no sense because whole purpose of a franchise is that, the policies are the same across any location.

In the end, talk to the store manager, who said the same thing but in a much more polite manner. I understood the situation and left.

Hire people with basic customer service skills.

My experience at this place was funny and horrible at the same time. My brother wanted to get earbuds but they were locked so you had to get an employee to be expected. So then we asked can someone unlock it so we can pay. We asked some guy can someone unlock it and he said yeah I’ll call someone over. 3 decades later nobody showed up so we took matters into our own hands. We asked this other guy do you work here can you open this for us? He said no I don’t work here. You know what’s funny? He did actually work there because after a million years the same guy who doesn’t work there opened the cabinet and we finally got what we wanted. God help my soul.

Hassan in the mobile service is a great awesome young guy. I have some issue with virgin plus phone plan. Even I did not sign the agreement in this location, he still willing help me out and resolve the problem. That took us 4 or 5 times to communicate with virgin plus, but he was patient and extremely helpful. This location is lucky to have him. Thank you Hassan

I got a TV few months back and today my son (2.5 years old) opened the remote and the batteries were messed up.luckily no one is hurt. I have grave concerns on their quality standards.see the picture below.

Visited the store in Milton and wanted to talk to Geek squad for some warranty plans. I met Daniel who was very professional, extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He gave some great advice and recommendations and was very pleasant during the entire conversation. Daniel is an awesome employee and wish him the very best.

I like my Milton store. Employees are pretty helpful and always ask if I need anything. One thing that they can fix is this: to buy Air Pods -a high end item- I take a card from the Apple display up to the counter and they get the Air Pods from a locked case. I stood in a lineup to find out they haven't had any Air Pods in stock for weeks. That's fine because that's a First World problem, but then remove the cards from the display so people don't waste their time. Or just put a sign in the display case. "Not available"

WORST bestbuy in Ontario.
TRYING TO CHARGE 15% RESTOCKING FEE WHILE RETURNING UNOPENED BOXES.

One employee while buying a $100 product told me there is restocking fee if I return open box.the other employee said there is no restocking fee. I went to return the product the next day. A third employee while processing the return says there is a 15% restocking fee. I nicely told her it is an unopened sealed box. She said it does not matter and the system as per their store policy wont let her process the refund without charging $15.she kept pushing me but I refused to pay and then she processed full refund but I can tell that many other dumb customers probably are paying them 15 % on unopened boxes.

If you are going to purchase a phone, stay away from this store and their so called “certified advisors”. They have no respect for you and your time and will lie to you when they have no idea on how to proceed. I was passed along 3 different staff so I had to repeat myself 3 times; each time I was passed to a new staff it felt like I was left in even worse hands than before.

Instead of reaching out the the operator when they were having difficulties, they advised me to try another one… Do yourself a favour and save yourself from a headache and a hit to your credit score and go somewhere else.

I went to TMS and they got the same issue when trying to port my line and they called the operator which fixed it in 5 minutes.
