My dad and I went into the store on Saturday to check out a few things and we wanted to look at the iphones. They had their security attachments on them but we did not think the alarm would go off when we went to look at the back of the phone to see the colour and cameras because we are thinking of upgrading our phones and what better way then to see them in person right? Wrong. We triggered the alarm trying to see the phone and one of your associates, an older man with quite the chip on his shoulder gave us a very rude look even after I apologized and explained we just wanted to see the back which I understand must be annoying to hear the alarm go off but instead of doing the customer service job of saying anything to acknowledge our mistake he gave us a look and ignored us. What makes matters worse, he walked along side the table and proceeded to tell another person standing at the table loud enough for us to hear that we had “sticky fingers”. How degrading of your staff to talk about customers that way. We definitely did not feel like we were treated properly by him at all, have you no class or respect sir? I do not believe you should be in customer service if that is how you treat people. Bestbuy has always been a favourite store as it has almost all electronics you could ever imagine but if that is the kind of staff that is there, I would rather not shop here. However, the lady with the braids that also worked there was kind enough to acknowledge our mistake and even made us feel like it was no big deal. Please talk to your staff and if re training is necessary, have them do it again.

I like the products and I used to like the store setup, but since they rearranged it shopping at this store is a nightmare. My rating is mostly based on that. I literally sat in the front area which used to have greeters/ helpers and I just about cried because I couldn’t see what I needed. Before I knew where to go, but this doesn’t make any sense. Tell the big shot sitting in his office that made these changes to try working in the store to see if his awful idea is as good as he thought it was. Failure! Thankfully for me a kind young man who works there saw my distress and helped me… Josh saved my tears of frustration. As a side point of frustration, since when do you not offer to help put on purchased-in-your-store screen protection on devices that have been purchased there? My purchases were not low end products but I needed that help and was told it’s no longer offered. That’s rude, but your competitor offers that help so I guess I will have a new favourite store that helps. The staff are excellent and really try to help. It’s a shame they deal with the aftermath of this change.

On August 9,2023, we made a trip to Best Buy in order to facilitate an exchange. A Jabra Elite 7 had been given to me as a birthday gift, but upon inspection, it was apparent that the unit I received was damaged and potentially used. As we entered the store, we were greeted warmly and directed to the return counter. The staff present at the counter exhibited a high level of professionalism, extending their apologies for the inconvenience. They promptly arranged for a new unit to be brought forward, and the exchange process was efficiently completed. Overall, the experience was quite positive.

I was confused and struggling to find a speaker, with the help of this amazing worker I was able to get my JBL Flip 6. Now it is my favourite and most used item. I believe her name is Hanan. She was amazing, personable and intelligent. Definitely deserves a raise.

I went to Best Buy to pick up a smart watch for my nephew a few days ago. I was quickly greeted by a representative, and she directed me to the area for the watches. While there, it took me a few minutes to find someone to assist me. When I was ready to pay, the machine was not working. The rep had to call on someone else to assist. Eventually, it worked, and I was on my way.

The majority of the staff at this location are in need of customer service training. On Sunday afternoon, I bought a S23 Ultra and received assistance from a helpful and welcoming associate at the front desk. However, when I returned on Monday evening to exchange my phone case, the experience took a turn for the worse.

Upon entering the store, an associate approached me and inquired about my needs. I informed them that I wanted to exchange my case, but instead of offering assistance or guidance, they simply directed me to another area, saying, "Yes, you can exchange it over there. " When I asked if they could show me some cases, their response was, "All of our cases are over there, " pointing towards the section. While it's possible that they needed to remain at the front, I proceeded to select the case I wanted and headed to the counter for the exchange. This is where the situation deteriorated.

The associate at the counter didn't greet me or even occupy the till; instead, they engaged in conversation with others in the vicinity. Despite there being no other customers in line, when I informed the associate of my intention to exchange the case, they offered no assistance whatsoever. As I started removing the case from my phone, I asked if someone could help me, to which the response was, "You took it out, so it's now yours, and we can't touch it. " While there may be some validity to their statement, as I had purchased and opened the case, and it could potentially be a liability if it broke during their attempt to remove it, I continued trying to remove it myself. Throughout this ordeal, two other associates were present, and when I requested assistance with my invoice, they simply stared at me without offering any help.

At this point, my frustration reached a peak, and I explicitly expressed my dissatisfaction by saying, "Why is everyone reluctant to help me? " I then left the store. On my way out, I approached an associate near the door to inquire about the manager, and they directed me back to the customer service desk, pointing out that the manager was located there.

This experience represents the worst service I have ever encountered. It was extremely uncomfortable to stand there, requesting assistance and being met with nothing but stares from multiple employees.

I frequently visit this store because of its proximity to my house, but it seems that I may need to explore other locations for better service.

I recently visited Best Buy and had an amazing experience with Qaium, one of their sales associates. From the moment I walked in, Qaium was ready to help and quickly found the perfect TV for me. His knowledge and service were outstanding, and I'm incredibly happy with my purchase. Highly recommend Qaium for exceptional assistance at Best Buy!

This Best Buy place at Kingston rd and Hardwood in Ajax has useless people. I’d rather use robots for sales and payments. They have no clue about products, they have not criteria to sell, they are like zombies.

Avoid going there, guys, if you don't want to waste your time. Spent 1 hrs and 40 min in line over Cell phone section. No one wants to work or help.roaming here and there chit chatting. Have to come back.
On the other side, my son was looking for a PS5 controller 24 min on cash counter no one available. After 25 min someone came and told him to go get the controller from the gaming section. From the gaming section, someone told me that will be nearby checkout. And finally they're said they don't have the one are we looking for.
If I read reviews before, i never visit there. I guess staff is getting there pay check and doesn't care about anything else.
Don't do mistake which we did. AVOID GOING THERE>

I bought a new battery for my Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) off of Best Buy's website. I tried changing the battery myself but struggled greatly and seeked out the nearest Best Buy (Ajax) to help me out. Unfortunately, despite Best Buy selling the battery to me, no associates at Best Buy could help me. They told me to go to the phone kiosks at Pickering Town Centre and see if they could help me. I eventually was helped at Cellspoint in the mall, but was really disappointed that once I'd spent over 30 bucks on a new phone battery, I had to spend the same again to have the battery put into my phone. Best Buy should have warned me that just because they sell something on their website, doesn't mean they know how to help a customer once they have their product. I'm disappointed and know not to rely on them again.

Bought a video game as a gift for my nephew and there was no disc in the case. Didn’t keep the receipt unfortunately and no way to prove it wasn’t in the case so now I have to buy it again. Last time I ever buy anything from Best Buy.

My husband and I always go to this location. Each time, they exceed our expectations and help us out. We would like to commend ARUJUN most especially for the couple of instances he helped us with our purchases. Qaium is also very accommodating and helpful. Thank you!
