Farid is an amazing teacher who above all helped me to get my G2. He is incredibly dedicated to swing his students thrive and learn while keeping a focus on the rules of the road. To me, Farid treated me like one of his own and always encouraged me to do what I may have been nervous or afraid to do. In the classroom, Farid elegantly explains the rules of the road in a manner that makes it so that everyone in the class is able to understand how to safely act on motorways. Big thanks to him for pushing me to do what I thought I couldn’t and for pushing me more then any other teacher has ever bothered to.

Farid is my current instructor at the moment and he is the best instructor that i have had so far! I've had 3 instructors in the past and out of them Farid has pushed me and pressured me the most which has helped me so far! Ive been driving with Farid for a couple of weeks now and i already see so much improvement. I definitely recommend him.

I have taken my driving lessons from Ehsan Jan Sheikh and he is one of the excellent instructors. He gave me essential tips in clearing the G2 test. He is courageous and supportive with beginners.

I have been trained by instructor ehsan shaikh and to be honest he is best in the business, i cleared my G2 in my 1st attempt, he is very friendly and give proper instructions according to requirement of passing driving test.

Today I completed my G2 driving test, and passed receiving my now updated licence. My instructor, Farid, was an amazing teacher and over great person. He was able to teach me the rules of the road and how to drive with a degree of effectiveness. Farid was persistent and took the necessary time to ensure that I was at the top level of driving going into my G2 road test. Farid was always respectful and greeting me, the student, with a welcoming smile, attitude, and always a short, “how is your day so far? ”. I will be sure to recommend Farid to anyone I know who wants to learn to drive, and to anyone reading this I recommend Farid to be your driving instructor!

Went into this with barely any driving experience and thanks to the help of my instructor Ehsan Jan I’ve gained so much confidence in my driving. With all the skills taught it makes everything much easier. Would definitely recommend to new drivers or just to gain further knowledge.

Not impressed with Uzair. He's supposed to be giving my son in-car lessons. He's overbooking car time cuz he says my son doesn't need it. Then goes on holidays and now his phone # is disconnected?

Best choice driving school is very beneficial, I am only 2 days in and I’ve learned a lot! My teacher Muhammad is also really nice, definitely recommend.

I wasn’t really sure if I wanted to come in person but I gave it a chance and I have no regrets! My instructor Mohammed is absolutely spectacular, he makes things enjoyable and educational. I would 10/10 recommend going in person.

Worst driving school and worst service! No responses for weeks. The instructor did not teach my kid anything during their lessons. I had to re-teach everything myself. Do not go to Farid and STAY AWAY from best choice. Definitely not the best choice for your kid if you actually want them to learn how to drive, park, and the rules of the road.

My drive test instructor Farid was the absolute best! He pushes you to do your best and helps you gain confidence in your driving, he points out the smallest mistakes and talks you though them. I’m a very nervous driver and Farid helped me stay calm behind the wheel as I learned how to trust myself and my ability to drive. Without his help I would never have been able to get my G2 license. Best instructor in all or Durham I’ll definitely be recommending him to all my friends that want to learn to drive.

My experiences at best choice was great, especially the in-person lessons. I was gifted to have Farid as my driving instructor who taught me the in and outs of driving and what I needed to do to pass my test. Because of his cautious, patient, informative and educational lessons, I was able to perfect all my skills and pass my g2 road test on my first attempt, thank you Farid.

My driving instructor Ravi was extremely helpful and gave useful tips which were essential in passing my G2. Without those tips I likely would not have succeeded. He was especially careful in ensuring my observational skills were up to par with constant and friendly reminders. We also discussed winter driving and the best way to approach it.

Every aspect on the test was covered in depth with useful driving tips which were very easy to remember, not just for the test, but simply for driving in general. I couldn't have asked for a better instructor, definitely quite pleased with the overall experience and quality.

Just passed my G2 on my first attempt thanks to my amazing instructor Farid! He really took to correct and perfect my driving. His tips and tricks that he taught me elevated my driving drastically, which allowed me to pass on my first try. He was also considerate about my busy work schedule and gave me classes as soon as possible. I wouldn’t recommend any other instructor. He truly is the best!

I passed my G2 driving test with the help of Farid. I have had other driving instructors in the past and none of them have taught like Farid. He is such an attentive and professional instructor, he does not get frustrated and answers every question i’ve had with such clarity it is amazing.

I really enjoyed learning with my instructor. He was patient, calm, and very knowledgeable. He broke down exactly what I would be learning each lesson and he built upon my skills and confidence level. I was incredibly nervous to start driving - I had put it off multiple times and had some negative experiences in the past, but I felt instantly comfortable in the car and by the end of my lessons my confidence had grown significantly. Passed my driving test on the first try!
The only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is that there were a few times my lessons were rescheduled last minute - not a deal breaker because I felt very happy with everything else but this could be an issue for some folks! I still highly recommend this school! The folks in the office are also very quick to reply and provide excellent customer service!

I passed G2 & G for both one attempt and thanks to my instructor Lai! … She was patient, calm, she always delivered her instructions consistently. She was encouraging and made me feel comfortable and at ease. She told me the tips and pointed out what I should beware before the drive test. She is nice and not a kind of intimidating instructor. She was patient even though I did a lot of mistakes and taught me the right things… I highly recommend Lai for her excellent job! ….

I took a 1 hour practice with Rubina for my G road test. Rubina was amazing, gave me enough practice with what I needed. She was good at giving directions and explaining things and what would be evaluated. I highly recommend!

Ms. Lai is an amazing instructor, she gave me a lot of confidence, helped me with line change and I passed my test with only 5 lessons. I failed 3 times before taking lessons from her, I almost lost hope but after taking the lessons I was so confident and I passed my test. I wanted to take 10 lessons but she suggested me to take only 5 and that I shouldn’t waste my money, she is a very honest instructor. She also taught my daughter and would recommend her to my other children. 100% recommended, Amazing instructor!

The only reason I'm writing this review and giving it 3 stars is because I recently finished a lesson with Farid. Before him, I had 6 or 7 lessons with another instructor and thought I was doing well. He instantly pointed out all my mistakes and properly explained to me the what I was doing wrong. I couldn't believe that after so many lessons, I learned the bare minimum, whereas he had picked up the slack after 2 hours with me. The entire experience was like night and day, in all honesty. I would wholeheartedly recommend Farid if you choose this place, because my experience with others has been less than satisfactory. If I hadn't spent the past 2 hours with him, I would've continued the same mistakes without knowing any better. Farid showed so much professionalism and instilled so much confidence in me, I can't thank him enough. If not for him, this review would have been 1 star.

I passed the G2 on my first try and it is all thanks to my instructor. I took lessons with Ms. Lai, she was very patient and created a welcoming atmosphere where I was comfortable asking any questions. She kept classes light-hearted and amusing with jokes and stories, which helped me remember the rules of road better. She genuinely cares about her students and wants them to succeed. Highly recommend!

It's a good driving school and based on the ratings does have some amazing instructors across various locations, I initially started with an instructor from Oshawa who was amazing however since I am in Ajax it was a bit too far for him so I had to change to another instructor who once again was nice but not very effective. Her methods and teaching techniques did not build any confidence for me. If you opt to go with this school make sure you request for one of their main full time instructors. You'll find many recommended across the posts here!

Hello, I took a crash course of 1.5 hrs for clearing G2. My instructor, Rubina was patient and ensured I'm well prepared for my test. She provided sufficient information regarding rules and also motivated me to stay calm and confident. Would highly recommend her if someone's looking for a refresher course prior to the test. I had Lai as my driving instructor for my G road test. She was very informative, courteous, and patient. I passed the road test on my first try! In the last 2 years, not only did I pass my G2 and G road test on my first attempt, I learned how to be a safe and trustworthy driver. This is all thanks to Lai. Hands down, one of the best driving instructors in Durham!

My instructor, Lai, really cared me and wanted her students to enjoy driving. I passed my G2 test only because Lai taught me all the skills necessary for the road test. I would send a text and get a reply back very quickly. I would definitely recommend Best Choice to a friend or family member.

I passed in the first go

I am really disappointed in the professionalism of this business, and would not recommend that you give these people the time of day.

I purchased the Gold (online) package a couple of months ago, but decided to withdraw from the course after completing only 10% of the in-class/online component. I needed to withdraw due to the fact that I was moving out of the province and would not be able to complete the program in time due to the lockdown restrictions.

According to the contract that I had signed, I was entitled to a full refund (minus $50 for admin fees) if I chose to withdraw prior to the completion of my 1st in-car lesson (which I had not completed at the time). Upon informing the school that I would like to withdraw and receive a refund, I was accused by a person named Rubina of already doing 8/10 of the in-car driving lessons. I was told that I had completed these lessons already with my instructor, and would not be receiving a refund because of this. Apparently someone had signed off with my name, saying that I had completed 8 out of the 10 hours of the in-car driving, which was totally untrue as I had barely started on the in-class portion. As far as I understand it, these people forged my signature and tried to tell me that I couldn't get a refund because I had apparently already completed lessons that I did not actually do. This is totally unacceptable, and I cannot believe that I was taken advantage of like this.

Not to mention, I felt as though Rubina was very rude and condescending when dealing with me. It was also such a struggle to receive a refund from these people, once they were finally able to admit that they were wrong. Honestly, I would highly suggest you look elsewhere for your driving school needs. Totally unprofessional and unacceptable!

I passed my G driving test this week while 8 months pregnant and with bad weather. Rubina was an amazing instructor. I can't thank her enough for her patience and guidance.

Did several G test sessions here, since DriveTest is in Oshawa there is an option of paying extra (1 and a half lesson) to practice there. Rubina was my instructor and she helped me pass on the first attempt.

What I liked was that she will notice and help you correct every minor error you might have, so that your test ends up being very easy!

The in-class portion was slow and largely unhelpful, but the practical was great with my instructor Lai. The instructions was really clear and I was well prepared for the road test. My calification is 10/10 thereforce I would recommend.

The instructor I was given was Ashraf, I passed my G2 test on my first try with only 2 mistakes. He was accommodating to my ever changing work schedule and helped give me good pointers to improve my driving. Ashraf was accepting with me not wanting to do driving lessons when covid first started and always answered messages within a short period of time. He followed safety measures and made driving enjoyable and easy.

Recently finished the whole program and got licensed. Did in class lessons with Zubair. He brought a lot of life to the in class with good tips, knowledge and what to expect. My actual driving instructor Firoz was a good teacher as well with a calm attitude to make you feel comfortable in the car, it felt easy learning to drive with him as it was a pretty relaxed time as he passed on his knowledge.

This school is really the best choice in town for providing the knowledge and skills you need to be a competent driver.
I can easily tell how good an instructor would be in the way he handles the lesson every meeting. Ashraf is an awesome teacher as he assess you first with how much you know with driving and start from there.
I have taken many classes with him and he is very professional and I assure you that your time is not wasted with him. He explains everything very well and don't hesitate to ask questions coz, in fact, he encourages it and provides answer in a manner that you will understand.

Not Best but the Worst Choice Driving School.
After finishing class lessons, it took them 4 weeks to start road lessons because no one took my file from school. I followed up with 3 road tutors but no luck.terrible.

One who took my file was even worst. Fazal Khan and Nazam.

No support for lessons schedule or road test schedule.
I would have failed if my dad would not have helped me.

Please stay away from this school. They might be cheap in cost but stressful in dealing.

I recently took some driving lessons with Best Choice and my instructor was Rubino. I am a senior and was very impressed how this lady respected my age. She gave me clear instructions, and really made sure I understood completely. I as very successful doing my driving test and i give the credit to Rubino. I had an excellent experience with Best Choice Driving School. My instructor (Firoz Patel) was thorough, clear in his directions, patient, and very professional. As a result of his instruction, I successfully passed the G2 road test and feel much more comfortable driving. I highly recommend him as an instructor.

I had Mohammed as my driving instructor and he made me sign hours of driving that he never took me on, was on his phone for all my lessons and took hour long lunches on my time and the school did not care. Worst driving school ever.

After finishing the course they gave me the driving instructor card which was najma but instead her husband came. And he was very rude, nervous. He kept telling me to stop driving near the road bumps. Even if I paid for his class.

My driving instructor was Lai and she was a great instructor. She was super informative and patient as she was key to me passing my G test. Definitely would recommend Lai to anyone looking to do their G test because she outlines exactly what you need to do to be successful.

Office staff rude. No communication between instructors and office. They asked to me to collect the file from office and give it to instructor then they will start my road lessons. They did not schedule a single lesson for 3 weeks.
Shame on them.
What a stressful time I had.
I understand that most of the five start rating here given by themselves to misguide people.

As the name suggests ‘Best Choice’ is definitely a best choice for driving tests In GTA area. I have cleared my G test in one go and the instructor Mrs. Roveena was very helpful and cooperative. She was very good in observing what you are good at and pointing out the mistakes needing more attention. She is a very jovial person and also complements you well for good which is very encouraging. I have been driving in US and India and hence I was familiar with the basics but was lacking some confidence to drive in Canada roads. But after taking their lessons I have gained confidence which helped me in clearing the road test in one shot! Thanks again and appreciate all the efforts!
