I went to my first bridal dress appointment and was happy that my first experience was with Best for Bride. Donna was my consultant and she was great! She was friendly and did a wonderful job of assessing the type of dress I was looking for and picked out great dresses, one that will potentially be the dress ;)

Update: I ended up getting my wedding dress at a different boutique but went back with my bridesmaids to get their dresses. We were helped by Donna once again, and she was friendly, patient, and resourceful. All my bridesmaids ended up getting their dresses.

I want to thank Natalie for helping me find my dress, she was fantastic to work with. Donna is also incredible for helping me with the order. The staff is amazing to work with and they really do help you, Natalie helped me try on different dresses and was very patient and just very understanding.
The only reason they're losing two stars is because of their owner Olga. My dress was availble off the rack and it would have been 20% off but it had a stain on it. Donna said that they can spot clean it for FREE. Worried that there could be other issues, I had opted to order a brand new dress which Donna did. A few days later, she had informed me that my dress size would not be available until after my wedding day. So I had told her that I will buy the one off the rack as that was my size anyway. To my surprise, she said that the owner Olga REFUSES to give me 20% off but instead she will DRY CLEAN IT FOR FREE. I was extremely disappointed since the spot cleaning would have been included before but because I had already put down my desposit I was not able to opt out. I told Donna to order the size that was available (which was a size down), had I known I was going to order a different size I would have gone to another store since they had that size for a few hundred dollars cheaper.
Very disappointed in Olga, all she cared about is the money and not the customer at all, felt that she lacked integrity. While her staff were amazing, my dealing with her left a really bad taste and hence why they lost 2 stars. It would have been 1 if it were not for Donna and Natalie.

Amazing service all around. I get all my gowns here, and when I came to pick out a wedding dress, Ife was patient, extremely professional, and very knowledgeable. Found my dream dress here. Would recommend in a heartbeat!

Had a wonderful experience here like no other place I’ve visited. The customer service was on point. I met with Svetlana who assisted in picking out a number of dresses for me to try on. My fitting room was reserved for me and space was provided for my sister to wait while I tried on wedding gowns. Svetlana was very patient and knowledgeable. She provided me with a number of tips and recommendations for gowns and veils. Many places didn’t let me wear a veil while trying on my dress but Svetlana not only let me try them on but provided me with great recommendations for veils which I wouldn’t have thought about. I was also put on a podium which had cameras and a screen for me to see the back of my dress clearly. They also sim the lights to give brides a glimpse of the dress in a dim light. Overall a wonderful experience.

The staff were friendly, positive and understanding. There was no pressure to buy something you didn't care for. I said yes to a dress that is totally beautiful and totally me. And well within my budget, which they were more than willing to work within. Thanks Donna, Juliana and staff for making my dress shopping a happy and stress free experience.

Juliana’s service made my experience amazing. She is knowledgeable, helpful, funny, caring and relatable. She provided me with excellent customer service that I haven’t found anywhere else. My very first appointment for trying on wedding dresses was at Best for Bride and Juliana helped make it a great experience. I told her what kind of dresses I liked and she was able to pick a great selection for me. I brought my mom and sister who had a lot of questions and opinions and she was great at handling that. She was very patient even though I tried on a lot of dresses and she just helped make the whole experience fun.

I guess my budget was on the lower price range as Juliana suggested that I would have more options if I increased my budget a little bit. Just something to keep in mind. Even though I didn't get a dress, I would still highly recommend going here if you're a bride!

Natasha was wonderful, she made the experience extremely comfortable and exciting. She was also very informative and you could tell she was truly listening. We will be back for a VIP appointment!

I had one of the best experiences at best for bride. My budget and timeline (8 months) were both pretty tight and the staff there never made me feel like i should be stressed about it. I worked with natasha the first time i went in (without my mum) and i cannot rave about her more. She was patient, kind, funny and so focused on making sure i was comfortable, happy and clear about what i wanted. I was lucky enough to find 2 gowns i really loved and she was so kind as to keep them for me so I could bring my mum back to see them again. She was super knowledgeable and shared her own experiences which made for a very trusting experience. The 2nd time i went back i worked with Christina who was also great and really willing to help show me what the final looks could look like and how i could make adaptations if i wanted to. The staff spend the time with you and make sure to respect the advice of guests as well as read the brides response to dresses and find something that encompasses as many of the details the bride likes as possible. Overall great experience, ive found my dress and will always recommend best for bride to all of my friends!

Nuha was our consultant. I did not find my dress at this location but she helped me feel welcome. My girls and our mom’s found their dress here and she allowed us to take pictures and provided us with honest opinions that helped them narrow down their choices. Thank you also to Donna who was so professional and provided us with suggestions when it came to picking out the colors for the mother of the bride/groom dresses.

Amazing staff and great selection- Christina was so friendly, helpful and assisted us in finding a bunch of great options for bridesmaids dresses. Also, this is the first bridal shop that really checked in with us and provided a more personal touch through emails and check-ins before and after the appointment which was really nice.

Not going to affect my rating because this isn't about the staff or offerings - but only negative comment is about the interior atmosphere: I didn't experience the top bridal floor, but the bridesmaids area was a bit outdated and could use a bright paint job or something to reflect the quality service and selection you all have! Nothing to do with the offerings - more to do with the feel of the space while we're there (especially when comparing to other bridal shops we've visited).

My mum and I went to the Best for Bride Etobicoke location to look for a mother of the bride dress and had a great experience with our consultant, Juliana. For my first time trying on bridal dresses at a store, I had a great experience here. Svetlana was very patient and helpful. She chose some options for me to try on as well based on what I liked and looked good on me.
I also had a large group of bridesmaids with all different body types. During the bridesmaid hour, Svetlana adjusted the dresses to help us envision how it could look on each person.
Large groups with lots of opinions can be hard to manage but Svetlana did it with patience and professionalism.
I would recommend coming here even if it’s just to get an idea of what you like. They have many options to choose from and the staff is very knowledgeable.

I went to Best for Bride because my sister recommended the place. She bought her dress at the North York location almost 10 years ago. So, I decided to go and see if they can also give me the dress for my special day. I initially went to their North York location. It's a smaller place and didn't have much selection. Since my wedding is approaching fast, I was told to visit the Etobicoke location as they have more selection in my price range.

At the Etobicoke location, Juliana was my consultant. She is amazing! She's super kind and helpful. She picked a lot different kind of dresses for me to try on, while staying within my budget. Juliana gave me options on what I can add on to make the dress pop. She was very patient with me and made sure that I felt comfortable and happy with the dress I choose. I'm so glad she was there to help say "YES TO THE DRESS"!

I visited this location for my first time, it was my first time ever trying on wedding dresses! Natasha was my consultant. She is completely amazing! She definitely gave me the whole bridal experience! Natasha helped me figure out what I liked and ended up showing me the dress I fell in love with! She was very easy going and I never felt like I was rushed or anything! The store was very clean and organized! Customer service was amazing! I absolutely loved this place! Will definitely be coming back for my bridesmaids dresses!

Love the bridal gown pieces but would like to say they should mention on there website that they are not providing rental dresses anymore because I wasted my plenty of time. I would recommend this place if you want to purchase only, this place is not for the brides who wants to rent.

I had a wonderful experience for my first time trying on wedding gowns with Natasha as my consultant, she was knowledgeable, easy to chat with and made good suggestions for what styles would look flattering.

Came to check out dress options and had a very good experience. I was added up to 3 other people in with me. The clearance section was quite large and we were able to pick a lot of options from there. Svetlana was very helpful with the fittings and offered great tips.

Went here for my sister's wedding dress and matron of honour dresses for myself and another girl. We were on a tight budget, but we all managed to find very nice options - even matching bridesmaids dresses on clearance! When I entered Best of Bride at Etobcioke, Jan made me feel so comfortable. Jan was fantastic with the wedding dress experience. She made me feel very comfortable as a nervous bride. As soon as we arrived at trhe bridal store the manager assigned us to our consultant Jan. She went above and beyond to help me find a dress! There was a picture that I was fully fixated with and she pulled out dresses that were similar to it as they did not carry that particular manufacturer. She made it so much fun and by far this had been the best store I had gone to because of Jan. I will be back to try out more dresses and finally say yes!

This store has been amazing. As soon as I walked in, I was served. I arrived at my appointment an hour early, despite that I was greeted and helped by Pamela. It took me 15 min to find a dress for new years. The ladies were wonderful and very helpful. I will go back to get more dresses. The price was very nice and reasonable. I recommend this place for your fancy dresses. Go there first before going anywhere else!

Huge selection in every price range. Excellent clearance selection, I found my dream dress well under budget. Pamela was fantastic! She was so patient with me, letting me try on so many dresses until I found the perfect one. I would definitely recommend this bridal shop to anyone who is looking.
One negative: parking is tough.there’s a parking lot in the back but we had to drive around for a while to wait for a spot.

I wanted to send a big thank you to Jan who assisted me during my dress shopping yesturday. She was very bubbly and excited to be working with me. I showed her a picture of a dress that I couldn't get out of my mind and sure enough they had a similar dress but it was even better. We picked out 5 dresses and lets just say I didn't try on the rest. The reaction I got from my mom and sister sealed the deal. I walked away with such a stunning dress that I really didn't believe I could find. Thank you Jan for such an incredible experience, you truly made my day very special!
