Best Northern Motel and Restaurant

Pretty outdated rooms and wifi wasn’t bad. But for a cheap room for one night it wasn’t bad.

Im glad I brought my own duvet and pillow generally since the bedding was a little dirty.

Worst service I have experienced

Not even understanding when there is a weather issue. Apparently it's the guest fault weather occurs and we need to plan better.
Recommend stay somewhere else

I wanted to like this place because the restaurant smelled yummy, the gentleman that checked us in was very nice and it was in a great location for us.

However, there were 4 or 5 half smoked cigarette butts on the side of the door mat in front of our room when we arrived and they were still there in the morning. We were right beside the staff housekeeping entrance so the house keepers were clearly walking by them as they were cleaning rooms. I cleaned them up after I watched a housekeeper walk right by them.

The beds were uncomfortable and the room was very cold when we arrived.and they knew we were coming in advance.

I am generally not a complainer, but there are lots of other motels that are providing service at a much higher level that I will go to next time.and next time I will make sure I read more reviews.

Great place to stay for a night if you're passing through. Right off of the Trans-Canada Highway.

The rooms are very clean and spacious. Love your reminder notes. We returned for their Indian Food and they did not disappoint us. Absolutely delicious. I am new to Indian food and the 2 dishes I have ordered have been amazing. The staff are very friendly and have enjoyed our visits.
If you are near Wawa this is a great stop, you will not be disappointed.

Super clean, nice place to stop! My husband and I were traveling and came in late, we notified the hotel and they arranged to text us the info for our room. Friendly, accommodating staff. It was great!

We ate dinner here. My husband had "American" and I had Indian (salmon). The food was very good with perfect seasoning and reasonable portions. Staff is very friendly

Nice clean room and pleasantly surprised by the excellent Chicken curry.
The meal really hit the spot after hiking all day.

Very bad experience, rooms are so dirty and smelly, towels were dirty and floor was sticky, not recommend to anyone

Washrooms are very small in size. Wonder why this is the case in remote area motel. No AC in the rooms but a table fan was provided. Beds were not comfortable. Tv is of small size but has great channels. Multiple instructions posted throughout room, washroom and basin area. I would recommend get something in Wawa town but not bad for a motel.

I am writing this review at 6: 50am being woken up by a family with a young child.

Not the Motels fault, however, annoying.

Great place to stay with a nice restaurant.

We were just passing through Wawa and needed a place for one night. We found the ideal spot here! Very quaint, charming look from the exterior, as well as trees and plantings giving it a cottage feel. We arrived several hours before check in, but the staff were very accommodating, helpful and got our room ready for us right away. The room was simple, but clean, comfortable with all the essentials required. There was lots of room to walk our dog away from traffic. The best part was the restaurant with delicious Indian food! I can’t wait to stay there another time if only to taste other items on the menu.

Could use some updating/fixing for sure. The tub faucet was not secured, and the mini fridge made this very loud humming noise every half hour or so waking me up until I finally just unplugged it. I found the traffic to be a bit loud at night as well, so bring earplugs if you stay here. Room was fairly clean. Picked this place as it was dog friendly.

Having stayed in comfort inn (renovation) the past few days, I felt safe and relieved here. Able to walk my dogs in the clean and spacious walk area. Thank you.

Le motel est facile a trouver, il y'a de la place pour se garer, le chauffage chauffe rapidement, ce qui est bien, il y'a des shampoings, savon, machine à café à disposition, le lit était confortable et il n'y a pas eu de bruit.
Par contre, la chambre n'était pas bien propre, le sol avait bien été lavé à l'eau mais pas aspiré (il y avait des saletés près des meubles), le drap avait une tache.
Je comprend que les gens qui Viennent avec des animaux payent un extra mais pas quand la chambre n'est pas propre.

All good reviews prior are void. Under new ownership- place is becoming run down and not taken care of in the slightest. Restaurant is shut down, there is no sauna as advertised- that was in the past. Floors felt sticky, faucets and shower head were coming off the wall. Not bad for a place to lay your head- you can tell it use to be better.
