Best Western North Bay Hotel & Conference Centre

First I’d like to say loved the location of the place. Very convenient and beautiful views of the lake.
But unfortunately my heat wasn’t work properly the whole time I was there 4 days in total, secondly again unfortunately my room was right beside a stairwell and let me tell you, you can hear everything from people walking up and down the stairs to the door squeaking well being opened and closed. Also right in front of the laundry room as well so very busy area which really sucked for sleeping. Not only all this it was supposed to be a queen size bed and it was not, it was a double paid for a queen and got a double. When asked to move room well they were not welling to help just cut me off and said there is no other rooms available. Did nothing about the door at the stairs or anything. For the price it was to stay there it was not worth dealing with all that let’s just say I will not be back!
Not very good customer service either, really didn’t care about anything you had to say!

Best Western is always a good choice to stay.

The hotel was very nice, with the rooms and spa area in good condition. What really stood out was the front desk service with the front desk agent Lise. She provided us with lots of info material about the region and surrounding attractions.

We received aweful service during our stay at best western in northbay. First off we were offered no help from front desk to bring our luggage (i had 2 small children) only to find our they had not activated the keys. The rooms are not at all sound proof and there was a party in the next room who kept us awake until 3am. I called the front desk 3x and nothing was done further calls were ignored. At least the room was clean.

Stayed 2 night last night I spent 2 hours cleaning and replacing new bedding have a family of 4 sharing one towel before they brought up 4 more after waiting 1 hrs 1 am kids finally in bed new sheet garbage hasn't been pick up said I needed to make a request for cleaning due to covid none of the staff told me not the web site took 250 deposit when other only got charge 50 racial profiling a native at its finest

Good clean hotel with amazing staff. Pet friendly and great lounge food and restaurant. Near dog off leash Park

Corey/Curtis (not sure which) and Saber were GREAT when we checked in on Friday July 22nd night. They were very patient while my Mom had issues with her credit card. They always smiled and never made us feel like we were bothering them. Corey/Curtis was also bilingual which was impressive. We visit family in North Bay twice a year and always stayed in a different hotel. From now on we will be staying at the Best Western

Nice room, as usual could use a few updates, but in good shape. Staff friendly and breakfast ok. Not a fault of the hotel, but in North Bay there is a fly that proceeds the famous Shad Flies. I think are called Midge bugs. There were a million of them attracted to the lights

Check in took 30 minutes, not because there was a line. There was no one in front of us, they are just slow. The room keys did not work the first time, needed to go back to get them activited. The shower was so full of other peoples hair that it did not drain after, they also only give you three towels, dont bother asking for extra they never come. The TV in the room didnt work, we called down to the front desk and they said "oh this happens all the time try this. " We rented a room for 4 people as they were suppose to be queen beds, they were not. The "accessible" rooms are on the opposite end of the hotel from the door. The pool closes early and has an alarm that is so obnoxious and unnecessary.if all you are looking for is a bed to crash for the night it isnt bad, but as a vacation or weekend getaway I would go somewhere else.

The staff are so friendly and helpful. Had a big family Reunion there on the 9th of July and everything was set up so well for us.food area, dessert area.coffee area were perfect. Music!

Decent service very understaffed restaurant however. Some staff were very accommodating, some were obviously still in training

My wife and I stayed here on our way through town. The rooms were tidy (even if they lack pizzazz) and the front desk staff were courteous and professional. My only disappointments were a lack of electrical outlets available in the guest rooms (I have a moderate amount of stuff I need to plug in), a smoke detector that needed new batteries (thankfully it only began chirping after we work up) and the lack of a continental breakfast available on site.

We stayed one night and it was good. The pool was nice and a good temperature. The staff were friendly and accommodating.
