Best Western Parkway Hotel Toronto North

This hotel is located right next to three highways but you never hear traffic noise. The staff are very friendly and the restaurant within the hotel has an excellent breakfast buffet and staff make sure your juice coffee etc are always full the best service anywhere.

Overall the stay was great as usual but the person at check in turned me off on my stay. I don’t like giving a negative post because of one person. I am a frequent Best Western guest and will continue to be.

Recently renovation finished.
Good n nice n clean hotel.
Lots of free parking.
Come n see.

If you are at the location for a conference, perfect. Otherwise, stay somewhere where you can take a walk. Really good experienced staff though.

W are pleased to stay there and enjoy our stay, the only complain I have is dog fees are twice more expensive than other hotels, which makes me think twice about next time when I need to stay in hotels.

Got a free upgrade to a suite once I got there. The suite was basically another room without an extra bathroom, so I had another bed and TV. The room didn’t have a window though.

I was double charged for the room I stayed in. 184 dollars was the price of the room, and was charged another 184. I asked for a refund, so they said they will call me back next morning with an email. I received no email nor calls. I called them again for a confirmation email of the refund. I was finally able to reach the accounting office and they were quite polite about sending me the email. Thank you.

The service was okay, nothing special.
No one was ever available at the front desk and we always had to go to the Sheraton which is the hotel attached to this Best Western.
Room keys always deactivating every time you leave the room, they gave us an "upgrade" and the room seemed smaller than my colleagues who stayed at the same hotel.
Doors and walls were paper thin and heard everything going on in the hallways and the room next door.

The location is very convention for food and fun! It’s clean and it has a real gym! People are friendly, but the only thing to keep in mind is it might take some extra time to communicate with the front desk. The free parking lot is tight and packed, but it’s convenient!

They had all the amenities like 2 indoors pools 1 outside. Workout room sauna. A hot tub. Restaurant's and bar in building.they share with Sheraton hotel.parking at night if you can't get back early is a little bit of a struggle

Room was not clean, beds not done properly (no fitted sheet), balcony door lock broken, dirty old things in the fridge.

1) when we booking, breakfast was included. However, the breakfast was secretly removed from our booking without any notice. If we didn't make a screenshot as proof, we will 100% lose our breakfast.what kind of cheating!
2) The breakfast is not really free. They are waiters/waitress there.weird as 99% of hotel with free breakfast don't need them as service for buffet style breakfast. However, they are asking tips by giving your the $0 dollar bill! And they will "reminder" you.
3) Only 1 house keeping person per floor (while too many useless "$0 bill tips asking" waiters in restaurant). Difficult to get towel supply, while no daily cleaning service.
4) No drinkable water fountain or machine.you can ask for bottle water, but imagine you go to Toronto Zoo with only 1 bottle of water for a day
5) Different interpretations of policy between front and restaurant regarding the breakfast coupon.while front desk told you the one coupon per person for the duration of the stay but the waiters of restaurant insist one coupon per person per day. Confusing customers and make you running back and forth
6) Hardware problem: difficult to move the sliding door of the bathroom, very heavy and stuck there. The glass door of the shower can not be closed tightly as well so it was splashing water outside of shower base.
7) no TV

Booked for Best Western and got upgraded to the Sheraton upon arrival for no extra cost. Charged Best Western's rate of $25 instead of Sheraton's ($50) pet fee. Nice polite staff and beautiful rooms and facilities.

The only reason why I’m giving this hotel two stars it’s because of some of the staff that where sweet and the cleaning lady.
First off, I called two days prior to know if breakfast was included in the price I paid and the lady at the front desk told me that it was. When we get there, the lady tells us that it’s not included. I told her that we called so she decided to give us breakfast for 2 days out of the 3.

Secondly, our room was in a dark basement with no lights coming from outside. The room was much smaller than the picture showed online when we booked. We were there on a couple’s trip in the put in the basement with a bunch of kids running and screaming all day.

Thirdly, they gave us two keys and only one was working. So we couldn’t leave the room separately.

Lastly, there was a bunch of fruit flies in the room (we had no fruits in the room)

We asked for no room service so no rating.
The gift shop wouldn't let me use my bank card to buy lottery 649 I didn't like at all and ended any further shopping there.
The lady's working morning shift great very helpful.
Evening men not at all had parking problems no help from front desk next day ask to change a $20 again no help

Rooms were clean and quiet. Staff were very friendly. I cleaned my own room to help them and they gave me more coffee lol! Close to wonderland and downtown TO. Took the toll road not realizing I would get a bill in the mail but it was only $54 so definitely worth it with that horrible Toronto traffic. Would definitely stay here again. 2 pools, one inside and one outside. Lovely dining room and poolside food place too! My only complaint is you have to go to the adjacent building to sign in at the Sheraton. Seems odd but not horrible. Just awkward with luggage.

Booked a last minute reservation for a regular king room last night. I was upgraded to a larger room which was nice. However the room smelled of cigarettes, so did the hallway.

Thankfully it had a sliding door and I had fabric fabreze spray. I tried to manage the smell on my own without any complaint about it to the hotel … only to realize the bed sheets and pillows had different types of hair all over them. Also bugs on the night stand. I asked for fresh bed linen because I was grossed out by this. It took them over THREE hours and multiple calls to bring fresh linen.

With those issues resolved, I finally got settled. In the morning I asked if I could extended my stay a night. The front desk said no they are all sold out of all rooms. However I only asked initially because there was availability online and there actually still is for tonight. Does this mean they just lied for convenience? I didn’t press this figuring that’s probably best and decided to check out.

Disappointing, inconsistent service.

The staff is always on point as
it relates to the service and the maintenance.

Sean the manager, was really diligent in ensuring that our long stay was met with the best room for me and my family. In addition, he would check up on us to see if we were still comfortable making sure that we were happy all the time.

The hotel was clean, the food was good, from the restaurant and is priced fairly for the quality that is delivered.

Very convenient location, close to all the essentials and the 404.

I love this place and everytime I pass by I always remember to the good memories that were built.

Will.never hesitate to go back and stay!

L'hôtel est bien, il a l'avantage d'être collé au Sheraton donc bénéficie des services et installations de ce dernier.

Les chambres sont rénovées et modernes.

Le seul point négatif est l'expérience client lors du départ, la réceptionniste n'était pas serviable et peu amicale, j'avais l'impression qu'elle voulait juste se débarrasser de moi.

Surtout que la réceptionniste d'à côté, elle était amicale et le client qu'elle a servi rigolait bien du joke qu'elle lui a fait.

I love this place, the location is close to a Tim Horton and to a gas station which is a plus. But parking is pretty hard. You can find some Chinese restaurants behind the hotel by the left

It's 3am now and I can't sleep at all because my room is sooo bad，the room smell soooo bad too. The photo of the room I booked was totally different from what I got. There is nowhere written that the first floor of this hotel is semi-underground. My room had no windows, the air conditioner was terribly loud, and there was a stench without the air conditioner. Because of the flight, I didn't arrive until two in the morning, but when I paid online, it was noted that I would be late. I just entered the room for ten minutes, I asked to change the room, and it was said that there was no room available? ? But my reservation is obviously not like this, just because I arrived late, only the worst room is left? But I clearly paid, why can't I reserve it?

Service is below average as there is no front desk representative. Instead you have to walk and use the Sheraton front desk. Also, the hallways are a bit run down. Fortunately the rooms are reasonably nice. However, the fact that this is connected to the Parkway fitness facilities which has Squash, Pool, Hot Tub, Sauna, Lockers, extensive gym, badminton, ping pong, and food/bar makes up for a lot especially for the price point.

There is no reception here at this time and check-in is handled by adjoining Sheraton which makes it a bit of a hassle. There were multiple sports teams here during my stay with younger ones always running in the hallways. Rooms were nice and clean so that was a plus.

We booked for the King room with Balcony at the BW. I knew that we had made a late-night booking so to be sure our reservation could be tracked I offered to share the reservation code at check-in. Manager at the time, Sal Hassan, refused to accept the reservation code, assuring he had found our booking. Before we could confirm the room type he had created keys for our room. It wasn’t long before I was back downstairs in the lobby, speaking with Sal again. By this time, I had learned that the room I chose and paid for was not where I was staying and I asked to be re-located. My request to be re-located was met with a upgrade fee and 30 minutes of gas-lighting, between the manager and his staff. Beware!

Light sleepers beware…I understand you get what you pay for but man can you hear EVERYTHING in this hotel. And I don’t mean “there is a party next door so I will blame the hotel”, I mean footsteps, vibrations, doors closing (not slamming) from floors above and below, vibrating windows when cars pass by outside, etc…

That said, if you’re the type to stay up late, and on a budget, it’s a solid choice!

The staff at breakfast were polite but I was reminded more than once that I was welcomed to leave a tip despite the fact that they didn’t do anything except clear our plates after. Even the coffee was self serve so I wasn’t sure what I was tipping for given they weren’t actually serving us.

The rest of the staff were helpful, professional and friendly and the location was perfect for us however despite the positives, the paper thin walls, porous windows, and seemingly under-paid busboy keep my rating at a 3…

Twice now I have been overcharged and have to keep calling to get my money back. Last time was January, Their excuse was that there is a flaw in the system, This happened to me AGAIN in November, due to "A Flaw in the System". I have been trying to get my money back since November 24th.

Check out time is 11am，but room cleaning service is buzy cleaning around 9: 30am，Im still in my room right now，hearing them vacuum the next door and try to knock my door，luckily they didn‘t open my door，trying to get a good sleep so I set my beeper alarm at 10: 45am before the 11 checkout，but ruined by housekeepers，now very headache！

The good: modern, clean room. Bonus amenities because it's directly connected to the Sheraton as well as a fitness center. Also connected to a small mall with different food options. Starbucks! The staff from both hotels were always exceptionally friendly, especially the cleaning staff.

The improveable: he barn door bathroom door. Because there's only crown molding at the bottom, there's a huge gap going up the side, and therefore, you hear everything from the bathroom. A simple flat molding piece might help this. Also, our hallway always smelled strongly of weed every morning.

Staff was super friendly, room was incredibly clean, shower worked excellent, beds were really comfortable and the prices were great. What more could I ask for? I'd definitely stay here again next time I'm out that way. Unfortunately, I forgot to take pictures here.

Will never book a 2 night stay here again. The first night I booked I ended up sleeping in my car because the hotwire app said nothing about having to pay by credit card for the deposit. I called multiple times to see if we could fix something since my credit limit was used up even though I made a payment right away after finding out it still would not post to my account for 24 hours. Pearl the lady at the front desk assured me there was abso nothing you guys could do to help me out. I tried to get a refund on hotwire and they could not help. So I get here the next day and my card declined so I told her I would have to come back in the afternoon because the payment didnt go through yet. And she tells me I can pay the deposit through debit at a higher cost! So while I was sleeping in my car hours away from home I could have been in the room I PAYED FOR. I'm beyond disgusted and my whole trip was ruined.

Never saw an hotel with elevator down the hall in the middle of hallway passing all the rooms.lol.evrything else beside that was great experience

My only comment is about the main entrance that was closed at night. We had to enter through Sheraton. Everything else was very good. We really enjoyed our stay.

This best western is better than all the other one. Connected to the Sheraton and a health and fitness club, you have access to so many different sports, 2 inside pool and 1 outside pool, plus the restaurant with affordable tasty food. To be greasy the only thing that is missing to this place is a playground structure for 2-12 years old.

No front desk. Hallways reeked of pot and smokes. Air conditioner only cools to 21C; the reason being it’s hot outside. Fridge is filthy when I arrived in the room, took two days for housekeeping to come clean it. Exhaust fan didn’t work and when it was fixed, it was louder than a jackhammer.
Booked housekeeping for Tuesday, didn’t happen til Friday cuz they ‘forgot’.
Really baffled how they still call themselves ‘Best’ anything.

High performance-price ratio, very comfortable to live, and the surrounding restaurants are also very convenient.

Really nice place, easy to access, very clean, rooms are quite spacious, having a balcony is an added bonus.

My stay here was OK The staff were very friendly the restaurant was good and the service pretty quick there is lots of parking here The only bad thing I have to say Is that no matter what you set the air conditioning at it never got below 21ﾟC or 70 Fahrenheit Which is fine for during the day but too warm for sleeping I stayed in 2 different rooms during my stay because of a change in schedule and both rooms had the exact same problem with the AC Other than the AC my experience here was pretty satisfactory

It is standart hotel, internet connection is the big problem. Next to Tim Hortons and it is the best part.

I stayed here for a conference and really enjoy my stay. The rooms were clean and cozy and the fitness center was great. I used the hot tub and really liked it. All of the staff were amazing, the housekeeper gave us lollipops for Valentine's Day. The people at the front desk were helpful and friendly, my key wasn't working, so they fixed it right away. I will definitely be back!

We visit this hotel twice a year and stay a week at a time, breakfast is awesome and the location is ideal.

I heard this place had recently renovated, and if they had I am definitely reaping the benefits! Our room was huge, furniture looked new, appreciated the whole setup. One unique aspect is the sliding door, which covers either the washroom entry or closet. The hotel is located close to stores and several restaurants, amazing location!

We've stayed here twice and love it: The hotel itself isn't 5-stars, but it gets five stars for value and amenities. The BW is connected to a Sheraton and you can use their pool+sauna. By booking with BW you also get breakfast vouchers to Crave restaurant, which would otherwise be $19 per person. It is also connected to a community fitness center and comes with access to squash courts, pool+whirlpool, outdoor pool, gym, etc. Finally the Sheraton itself connects to a little mall which has some great and affordable Asian restaurants.

Excellent experience. We were evacuated from or home due to flooding and everyone was very accommodating during this stressful time. Would highly recommend.

Stayed 3 nights at this location. Start off with room not ready when checking in after the 3pm check-in time on reservation. Waited an hour! There are no sign in the hallways anywhere to anything like, pool, elevator, dining room etc. The hot tub certainly has not been cleaned in a long time! People in pool having a swimming lesson and splashing everyone in the hot tub was not right. Should have been told about it! The parking for the guests was awful nothing available and told it was a bonus which is extremely wrong. There should be parking for guests staying in the hotel first! The breakfast was very good which was over in the Sheraton hotel but again had to ask 3 different people where to find it. Would probably not stay in this location again which is disappointing as always have stayed at Best Western Hotels.

Bugs on the floor in the lobby hallway to the breakfast area hopefully not in the rooms. Pillows had stains on them. The vent for air conditioning had gross things and dried up liquid on it. Only thing that was decent was the breakfast because they had a pretty good variety of food like bacon and stuff. If it wasn't for the good breakfast I would of rated this hotel one star.

Rooms are renovated however the place is still going through some minor renovations in the halls and externally. Nice clean place for the price you pay.

This place is great! It has good breakfast, clean rooms and everything!
The only thing that is keeping it from getting 5 stars is that the conditioning takes to long to adjust to the temp your setting it to.

I booked a room with two double beds, about a week in advance, paying upfront. Despite this I got stuck with something resembling a closet with one single bed. The room was roughly 80 sqft with only a few feet of space on each side of the tiny single bed.

It seemed to be the last room In the motel, and the staffs attitude seemed to be that I should be greatful to have a room at all. Trying to sleep in that miserable space, tiny bed, feeling like the walls were closing in was not pleasant.

The next day I asked what had gone wrong, as I did not get what I paid for. The staff informed me: since I was a single traveler, I was placed in that room. The rate for the horrible single bed room is the same as a 2 double bed room. There is nothing to be done, have a nice day!

If you want to risk being stuck in a closet like Harry Potter, stay here! Otherwise avoid at all costs. Any slight amount of claustrophobia, and you will not rest one bit here.

It's ironic, I booked here to rest on a ~1000km trip home, and got almost no sleep. I would have been better driving though the night sleep deprived.

We had been a group travelling for the Women’s open in Aurora.
Upon entering the Best Western it is obvious that some renovations to the lobby have been done. There are a few things that would benefit the hotel. Increased signage to indicate location of elevators (which a distance to the front desk), pool area, and breakfast area. A ramp should also be created at the entrance the the hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, linen replenished as required.
The breakfast buffet as great with a good selection of food items. Having available coffee in the lobby of the Best Western would be an excellent addition to the service provided rather than having to walk the the Sheraton.

I would stay here again if ever travelling to the area. The surrounding area has several restaurants within walking distance.

Very nice, clean comfortable room at a great price.front desk was very engaging and efficient.we were processed quickly and informed of amenities and layout of the facility.you can see it has been recently updated and the few things still under renovation do not detract from the ambiance.

The updated rooms were very nice and definitely worth the value! Overall had a good time at the hotel. Free breakfast was delicious, beds were very comfortable. Nice hotel

I travel a lot for work and this was likely one of my lesser liked hotels. When we booked it originally we saw no information about the hotel bring under renovation or the pool and other areas not bring accessible. The rooms had an odd smell and my family in other rooms also noted similarities in their nearby rooms. Breakfast at the nextdoor hotel was decent but nothing to write home about. Thought it was a bit expensive for what it offered. Won't make it on my list to go back to but if you're in a tight spot for a night it has its purpose.

The hotel was in the middle of a lobby rehab so there was no lobby.
We were not told this. They were painting outside our room. It smelled very bad.

The hotel ambience is too beautiful, multi cusine is lipsmacking, swimming pool is very clean and the top most is hotel staff, too polite & helpful. Love to visit here again.

Never stay here. Never give them any banking information, they randomly take money out of your account and you need to fight them to get it back. They don’t have their own pool and staff will yell at your children for simply splashing. They didn’t do anything about the noisy hallways at night. Worst stay ever, thanks for destroying our vacation.

Nice modernised rooms. Have stayed here a couple times whilst visiting friends. Great place to stay if you want to go up north but also remain near the city.

Good breakfast in the neighbouring Sheraton, however the quality there has gone down.

The hotel advertises a "Shouldice Hospital" rate and it seems like the rate is $20.00 cheaper than the normal rate. What they don't tell you is that they are simply no longer including the breakfast which is, you guessed it $20.00! So if you need to eat breakfast, which most people do, then the Shouldice rate is exactly the same rate as the normal rate. This is false advertising at its finest!

Very good Hotel, the room are brend new, new forniture, very efficient and clean. Very good breakfast till 10: 30am.the first floor in under restoration but the second is perfect. I suggest this place.
