A good option to buy Asian good whenever we are in Scarborough.

Downside is staff needs customer service training. I agree with one of the reviewer regarding employees picking items for online orders, they just bump you with no apologies or "excuse me". Being Asian and an immigrant myself, it boggles me when faced with these kind of staff. Courtesy and kindness are universal which possess the most minimal culture and language barrier. The redeeming factor is the store is very well stocked and somehow clean.

Also if you have a lung ailment or not a fan of second hand smoking, I suggest shopping for your "close to home" goodies somewhere else. You are greeted with heavy smokers outside before you enter the store.

To staff who are responsible for pulling items for online orders, I know you're on tight deadline, you're just doing your job, but pls, can you stop speed walking in the store, bumping and cutting in front of every customers you come across? It's seriously annoying and disrespectful to others. And to the store, can you find a proper place to store all the ready-for-pickup online orders? I was there today and there were at least 20 baskets of orders lining up in an aisle, and even more near cashier. I couldn't possibly browse that aisle at all. During my visit there's at least 5 times the online-order staff hit or almost hit my cart while they rushed to finish their tasks. This issue started during pandemic and is getting worse every time I visit.

Love the produce, seafood, and all kinds of Asian groceries and housewares. Great prices, huge selection, clean and tidy, no-nonsense checkout.

One of the best Asian supermarkets and my go to place for groceries. Clean, tidy, and well maintained place for groceries. Fresh produce and hot food are of great quality.

I approached the staff to ask where I can find Durian, he ignored me 3 times and finally turned to me and said ‘I don’t know you’
The rest of the staff treated me similarly as well which I presume is because I’m not Chinese or they are just miserable people! Never going back.

Not the biggest grocery store that caters to Asian food, but it's quite extensive in variety. Very clean and well stocked.

Clean and safe place for grocery shopping. Good choice of fresh fruit and veg. Love their hot food and dim sum counter.

The guy at the Barbecue section was very rude. He asked me which piece I wanted, then before I could say anything, he picked up one piece of BBQ pork, asked me "this? " then threw it back into the tray before I could even say yes or no. That was within split second time. He repeated this act several times without any real interest to know if I wanted it. He continued this act with at least 5 pieces of BBQ pork. Finally I told him just give me any piece YOU like. I wanted to leave the pork in the store anywhere, but then I thought they will just throw it back into the tray and sell it to other customer, so I bought it. I bought cooked food before and have never been treated this way. It was the first time I bought from their BBQ section. I will think twice in the future whether to buy from them again. BBQ pork is not healthy anyways because of the food colour.

Whenever I'm visiting my parents, I always end up coming to Bestco. The groceries are fairly standard and the quality is good, but one of their greatest assets is the hot food area. They have a nice spread of dim sum available and their congee is always something I end up ordering; the price is good, the portion is great, and it tastes wonderful.

This huge Asian supermarket is located just east of Brimley Rd in the Chartwell Shopping Centre.

I would place this store in the same category of a new Oceans in Mississauga, C&C Supermarket in North York or Foody World in Scarborough.

You'll find here all the departments expected to lure in Asian shoppers; a hot prepared takeout area, Roasted/BBQ/Brine/Soya meats, seafood, bakery with nice special occasion cakes, fruits & produce galore, sushi, a freshly prepared crepe counter, a large beauty products department, etc.

My main purpose here was to look for one specific brand of instant noodles! Facebook users said it was in stock.but it was not the case today!

Prices seem reasonable, competitive and the selection is good but keep an eye on expiry dates. Look for the specials!

My go-to Asian supermarket ever since T&T shut down at Cherry St. Bestco pretty much has everything under the sun: decent, fresh produce (pineapples tend to always be at decent size/price) great selection of Asian sundries from noodles, sauces, oils, herbs and spices etc. This place also has good fresh deli and seafood. One of the more popular and busy parts of the store is their take out counter. Tasty dim sum. Always a line up.

Big, clean, bright, tidy, with pre-cooked food for quick bites, following social distance, security guards available to ensure everyone wears masks, hand sanitizer available everywhere. It might be a bit pricier than other Chinese grocers closed by but good quality in general.

Bestco Food Mart is a large Asian supermarket located in Chartwell Plaza in Scarborough. Within the aisles there's a plethora of goods from Japan, Korea, Vietnam, The Philippines, china and more. We found that the ratio of products from Asian countries other than china is significantly higher than we've seen in other Asian/Chinese grocery stores.

The produce is on the right when entering the store and meat department at the back. I was on the lookout for ube but hadn't seen it at other stores. There's frozen ube in this supermarket along with lumpia and turon. The breads section is quite large and next to that is the hot foods section with bbq meats as well. There was a section near the hot foods that used be filled with books and cds but now is Petit-Chef Tang selling Chinese crepes.

When comparing prices to similar stores Bestco is fairly competitive. There are plenty of cheaper items but some are more expensive. They offer curb side pickup for groceries. By the cashiers there's many baskets filled with groceries and ready for customers to take them home.

The Bruno compact hot plate seems to be all the rage these days and Best Food Mart was not to be left out of selling these. They were on sale for $119 and the various plates were available as well - takoyaki plate, cupcake plate, ceramic-coated pot and ceramic-coated pot with a divider.

Decent place to get Asian grocery and hot food. Be warn the hot food section has a certain order of where to order, if you want dim sum goto that line and they will serve you even to the other section except for bbq stuff. If you want the stir fry you need to wait in those area. Line up to cash out is a bit weird since some of the cash line runs into aisle when there is a line up and some cash line don't since its block by shelves

Can find a great variety of asian
& western styled groceries, Chinese styled warm & cold food, DimSum.ready-made dishes.fresh produce.etc.reasonably priced.

There are no wait lines and as you enter hand sanitizers and facial mask are readily available.

Visited it the first time to buy masks during covid 19 when there was a shortage of supplies everywhere else. Really enjoyed it. It's a Chinese supermarket. A bit more pricey but better organized.

Great service, clean store, quality product. Whether it's for my Chinese-decent wife or my Caucasian self, I've never had but the utmost respect and service, and even after moving away from the neighborhood several years ago, we still go out to this Bestco regularly for our ethnic food needs.

Large chinese supermarket. Nice place for groceries. Have a large hot foods, dim sum section and barkery. Hot foods portion is huge with decent pricing. Love their sweet and sour soup.

Very disappointed. Looking for carbonated drink, and was yielded by their staff that I was damaging the drink.
