Roy was a pleasure to work with. He helped us with a leaking valve on our Washing Machine, and with a blown inverter on our Fridge.

Both times he was on-time, quickly gave us a clear, honest assessment of the issue, and fixed it in a timely way.

Very professional, tidy, and easy to work with. Would recommend him highly for any appliance issues.

I will have to wait and see if the parts hold up before adding “Good Quality”. Roy was early for the appointment, very polite, showed me what was wrong with the washing machine so I knew he was an honest repair man. Had the part on hand to fix the machine, started it up and waited to ensure it was working without leaks, showed me the repair, and was done within an hour I think. I believe the price was very reasonable. Also pointed out a potential problem waiting to happen with the plumbing and suggested I have someone in before it becomes a major issue. I will keep his contact info on hand and will not hesitate to call him again or recommend him to others.

What a waste of money, waste of time. Had a washer issue, wasn't completing the cycle, Texted BGA he came out, ran the washer empty on spin rinse, said we were overloading the machine. Billed us $107.00 for a service call, E-TRANSFER ONLY. Come to find out behind the drum there are what are called "SPIDER LEGS" and with weight of wet clothes in the drum it doesn't let the machine finish the spin cycle, and because he did nothing other then take money for doing nothing we had to replace our washer. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND USING SOMEONE ELSE, SOMEONE REPUTABLE IF YOU NEED REPAIRS.

Roy was able come the very day of our call. He called to let us know at what time he would arrived. He quickly diagnosed the problem with our fridge. Tried a part he had in his truck, but no luck. The next day came back with the part and within minutes fixed our fridge. He also look ed a second fridge we have with a defective display panel. He inquired about replacement price and call back quickly to tell us the part was available although expensive, but that none of the other parts for that model were available anymore. He could have just have us pay for a new part and about but instead, he was very honest and recommended we not waste our money for the accessory. Roy is now our official repair guy. Thank you.

The lights in our fridge weren't working, some were out completely, some were dim or blinking. Roy came to check it. Told us we needed to clean behind the fridge and turn it off for several days to reset itself. If that didn't work we would need a new motherboard for $800+. Told us we were better off to buy stick-on lights from Amazon.for a 6 year old fridge! Charged us for the service call for nothing but bad advice! We called another appliance service and they simply replaced the burned out light in the freezer (as they work in series) and all the lights in the fridge came on! Don't waste your money on this guy!

Roy came to our new home to do a full installation of our Gas Cook Top and Dishwasher, he used quality parts and his work was done with the outmost care and professionalism. He is very knowledgeable and arrived on time. Thank you Roy.

I had called/texted Roy and he responded within the same day and had set up an appointment as soon as possible for me. My dryer was making a loud squeaking noise and needed to be fixed. Roy came within the appointed time and was able to diagnose the problem. He was knowledgeable and professional, he cleaned the dryer and replaced the necessary parts and now the dryer is good as new again. Gas dryer was not heating properly. Repairman came and found main problem was with the venting. Suggested a service who came out and found a break in venting. This caused dryer to eventually breakdown. Dryer was repaired properly in a professional manner. Highly recommend this service for any appliance repairs.

No show for appointment today. Now over 1 hour late. No calls, no text. Have now scheduled someone else to look at our appliance.

We were very afraid that our very old built in oven (35-40+years) would have to be replaced! Which because of it's odd size and position might of led to an untimely kitchen Reno!
Problem solved! With a creative and safe wiring solution and good for another 20 years (maybe). We were convinced that a less experienced Tech would of not been able to fix the problem because of it's age and we could of been out a lot of money.

WARNING - This business is Scamming customers for Service Call fees. Stated HST # is a fake. CRA has been informed.

My issue was with a washer-dryer combo (Laundry Centre). The dryer would not START so i called in the company to diagnose the problem. All he did was attempt to turn the START knob then manually tried rolling the drum. He then promptly concluded $700 worth of damage required repair / replacement. As a customer i dont feel that was a professional approach nor an accurate assessment of the problem. A $100 "Service" call for a 5 min superficial assessment. Sheesh. I'm seeing some other 1 star reviews here - I'm beginning to think this is some SCAM being pulled by Roy / Anh Thu Dang to get the required $100 service call fee but conclude the appliance is prohibitively expensive to repair. BEWARE!

An excellent and professional experience. The service tech I dealt with was very patient and helpful. We mostly just had to text information back and forth. He was very helpful and upfront with what I had to do get my monster fridge going.

The man who came to diagnose the dishwasher was rude and extremely unhelpful. He didn't even open the filter basket to diagnose the dishwasher and deemed it broken beyond repair, charging us a cool $85 +tax for this service.

I fixed the dishwasher later on. It needed a reset.

Absolutely disgusting. Do not waste your money.

I called Roy and sent him a video of my washer, very honest person gave me a quick diagnose. I have called so many people and none had time this week, I called Roy and he didn't have time either but helped me over the phone.very friendly and efficient. We should have more people like him around.

Everything from call to oven service i had a great great experience roy is a knowledgeable person who knows about appliance repairs.its been 3 months since roy came to fix my 5 year old oven.in 3 months i had no problem that's why i am recommending and reviewing this company.

This was a great repair experience. Roy was quick to arrive (earlier than promised too), diagnosed the problem with the gas oven correctly and fixed it right away- he even had the part in his truck. He was efficient, polite and professional, and left no mess whatsoever behind. All in all, very pleased with the job done and will use him in the future when we need other appliances fixed! Roy is the absolute most competent and genuine repair guy i've ever met. He diagnosed my issue in 2 minutes flat and recommended maintenance for my dryer. Insanely good price, awesome guy and you'll get your repair done proficiently. Ignore all the bad reviews.

My dryer doesn't start. Roy came to check it. He simply shorted a resistor (DHT Resistor) and burnt the dryer. He almost started a fire in the house. Then, he quickly packed his stuff and charged me the service call and ran away. He simply told me to buy a new dryer!

Never deal with this guy, he knows nothing about fixing. All other reviews are most probably fake.

Our fridge stopped working and I called Roy at 10 am. He was at my home by 12 and had the fridge fixed and working by 1 pm. He was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. We were so impressed with his service and pricing that we intend to use him for any other service or repairs that come up in the future.

Sent text Sunday night to BGAS regarding broken washer and received appointment for Monday morning @ 8am. Roy came on time with a smile. He diagnosed the problem within minutes and provided two options. He also found a potential issue with calcium deposit in main hot water line. The washer was repaired and working in less than an hour. Roy also provided valuable advice and experience on maintenance and proper balancing of washer.
The reviews I read prior to calling BGAS are bang on. Very efficient, knowledgeable, customer oriented and honest.
I will definitely call Roy again for Appliance service!

I called Roy to have my fridge serviced and he was able to squeeze me in at the end of the day. Roy showed up and spent approximately 2 minutes diagnosing my fridge and told me that I need to clean the coil using Windex and scrubber, and proceeded to tell me if this didn't fix the issue I would be better off buying a new fridge then repairing the current one. He then left and charged me $100 for a 2 minute service call. I proceeded to do what Roy had told me and had no luck so I ended up giving the fridge away on Kijiji so someone could assist me with removing it from my house. Low and behold the person who picked up the fridge was also an appliance repair person, he messaged me a day or two later and told me that he only had to replace the condenser fan motor and the fridge is now working fine.

Roy did not take the time to properly diagnose the issue which resulted in me having to spend $2000 on a new fridge when simply repairing the fridge would have saved me a lot of time and money.

I want my $100 dollars back, actually I want my old fridge back. I do not recommend this company.

How is one to prove that a fridge is working when it is no longer in my possession?

Roy is an honest guy with lots of experience in the business. Hands down would not recommend anyone else when it comes to appliances.

I have used Roy twice now to repair two different stoves. On both occasions, he responded immediately, arrived on time, was respectful of my home, fixed the problem, provided advice, and charged a very reasonable price. I would not consider using anyone but Roy for appliance repairs.

Roy is a great guy, call him on this past Friday for a refrigerator repair, i get a appointment at 11am, roy arrived on time and found the problem quickly and give a upfront cost, get my fridge back up and running on same day.all service cost is quite reasonable. My fridge stopped working so I gave them a call and they were at my house and my fridge was fixed within 2 hours. Very friendly and polite. I would recommend this company 100%!

We called one night last week and were lucky enough to have Roy come to our home to take a look at our washing machine the very next morning. He was very prompt, determined what the problem was and then was back the same evening with a replacement part. We had used this group approx. 4 months before at our old house on a different washing machine and had the same great experience. Overall the service was very professional and affordable. Very pleasant experience from beginning to end! Roy's direct line is listed in his ad and he answered the call right away (no lengthy wait time for voicemail message to be returned). He was able to provide me with same-day service. Roy gave me an arrival time of between 3: 00 and 6: 00, and arrived ahead of time. He diagnosed & fixed the problem promptly.
