You should try Bun Cha Ha Noi. This is one of the most popular cuisine in Ha Noi, capital of Viet Nam. I highly recommend because it tastes very delicious
What an amazing experience! The restaurant is mostly take out but the staff very kindly put our phos into bowls for us so we could eat inside. The food is fresh and they have so many options. We also tried the fresh fruit teas (free with a pho purchase) and they were delicious. We will definitely be back soon!
Cute Vietnamese restaurant, a great addition to the neighbourhood! They sell a range of Vietnamese classics, such as pho, banh mi, bun bo hue, pate chaud, fresh rolls, and spring rolls.
The restaurant is small so takeout is recommended. The service is good and fast.
The food is delicious and well executed, flavours remind me of authentic Vietnamese food.
I’ve gotten takeout here several times, and enjoyed the food every time.
I honestly thought this place was vegan because of their name lol but i decided to give this small unassuming place a try recently and wow i’m so glad i gave it a shot.pho: 5/5 lots of beef and noodles i’m so full from just the pho alone.soup is flavorful and rich
grilled pork vermicelli: 5/5 ordered for takeout.large portion size, really good flavor for the meats.chicken spring roll: 5/5 ordered for takeout.beautiful presentation. AGAIN large size just delicious
i’ll be coming back many times for takeout.dine in seating option is really limited tho and when it gets busy it doesn’t feel too good so just take the food out.picture should speak for itself lol
You want delicious Vietnamese food and don't wanna pay 20+? Beyond fusion is the place to go. With student discount it's just around 12 dollars and you will be FULL! PHO is legit, vermicelli is awesome! I need this place to stay to satisfy my weekly Vietnamese cravings!
Sub-par quality. Food was nothing special but a bit on the pricer side, and the place is cramped so take out is recommended. There are better Asian restos in the area.
We went for the green and red curry. These are Vietnamese curry so it’s like a watery soup. It’s not the creamy Thai curry. Also it comes with beef if you wonder.
The food is amazing and the drinks are even better! I come here all the time for the Vietnamese coffee since there’s no place like it near campus! The staff are super friendly! And there’s student discount!
Edited: Somehow, being a banh mi and pho takeaway place, they make fire bun bo and pork rice. If you can get it, get it. (Old comment: Their Pho is just alright, not stellar, with a bit too much noodles. The service time is blazing fast though. This is where you grab your food and go, it may not be restaurant-grade, but made fresh every time.)
Tried their bahn mi, pho, vermicelli. All very solid and tasty for the price. Just right above here is Ginger (another Vietnamese) but is a fierce competitor for sure. Highly recommend if ur around here and crave Viet food!
Their banh mi is beyond delicious. I can eat two at a time. Everything very fresh. Pho is also very very good.
Edit: After I ate too many banh mi my weight has become concerning so I decided to go keto diet. They are super friendly to provide me with the low-carb option to order just lemongrass beef with salad, you can tell them you want vermicelli but switch the vermicelli to lettuce.
Now I can enjoy the taste and the protein without worrying about my waistline
We got a combo 1 (banh mi and milk tea for 12.99), vermicelli and red bean matcha milk tea. We came at night and the brown sugar petals were a bit stale/hard. The banh mi was good! Not sure what the beyond fusion is supposed to mean because it seems like a pretty standard Vietnamese restaurant. They had a few small patio tables inside and couple more outside but I think they get a lot more to go or delivery orders.
Honestly a solid sandwich at a great price point. Scoured the menu and ultimately went for the grilled pork belly banh mi. Not sure which menu items were “fusion” as it all looked like traditional Viet food.
So happy another Vietnamese restaurant opened around the church/college area. The staff was very friendly and you can see them make your banh mi. I love how the banh mi’s are large in size and definitely filling. The spring rolls I was hoping could’ve been more traditional like the Cha Gio I’m familiar seeing. I also didn’t like the paper straw, and would prefer a sip lid since half way walking back home the straw became soggy.
