Great place, nice selection of plants, friendly staff. Got some good deals on the late summer sale.

Excellent selection of top quality plants. Pat knows her plants and helped us a lot with suggestions. Most are in large sizes and therefore expensive compared to 4" pots ready to grow.

The first time we were there in the early spring we had real good service from the owner where we discussed what sorts of plants would be good for our garden. This time when we returned, the staff wouldn’t give us the time of day. Wanted some advice regarding ground cover flowers and we were told that “they are over there”. That’s was it and they disappeared. We purchased 4 small plants and 2 died right away.

Fantastic selection of plants, planters, veggies, flowers, baskets etc. Prices are fair/ a bit pricier compared to other places in the area. Staff are very knowledgeable but at times a bit abrupt/impatient when answering questions. I love the carts they have to carry all my plants since I certainly seem to get a lot. Attached are some photos of the lovely plants I have gotten from them. Their seedling veggies always do fantastic. But they go quick!

The staff are incredibly knowledgeable about plants, shrubs and trees. We now have a beautiful backyard oasis. A pond with their help is next on our list.

Cindy is an amazing woman. Her knowledge in plants, her helpfulness and polite manner makes the experience shopping at Beyond the House, the best place to go. I drive from Ottawa just to purchase my house plants or out door plants from them. The love they put into their plants you can see, they are healthy and well taken care of. Thank you so much! Wow - this place is a true hidden gem. I discovered it through a facebook group and decided to take the drive down from Stittsville. I was very impressed with the quality, health and selection of plants. This place
is now my go to for all my plant needs. I picked up two trees from them - they ensured I left with lots of knowledge and care tips to set me up for success! Highly recommend!

Happy to support this local, rural business through the constant lockdowns. Francine is a treasure.

Their plant source is located in Quebec, so everything that can grow there will also grow here, unlike more southerly wholesalers which supply the big chains.

Prices tend to be higher than the chains, but the quality is also higher.

Staff was helpful and knowledgeable. Decent amount of choices. Competitive prices. I have been there a dozen times and spent about $1000.00

This place is fantastic! The staff is very helpful, and the variety of the product is unbeatable. We bought perenials last year, that thrived. Went back this year for trees, and were not disappointed. I found everything I was looking for and more. Their website is super helpful, but nothing beats going in to the store and talking to the staff. They listen to your needs and meet every expectation. I can't say enough about this place. No complaints! I truly love shopping here.

I found Beyond the House on FB and was able to complete an amazing, same-day order of Spring/Easter planters.

They are even nicer in person than online. A few hours after ordering, the owner called, ready for pick up.

The store was safe, well organized and easy, covid-friendly pick up.

We've been to this store multiple times to not only buy gardening/plant items but also gifts! They have some of the most unique and beautiful gifts available for purchase. They gave us very helpful advice for gardening everytime we've asked. A must visit!

This is a beautiful gift shop decorated wonderfully for Christmas. In the spring and summer it is a floral shop.

Omgoodness what a brilliant nursery and garden center.
The variety and quality is outstanding. We live in the Kingston area but visit this center every time we are in Embrun.

What a beautiful store! Went in looking for a corsage for prom. Unfortunately they do not make them but recommended a place that did.

Just died and went to heaven. You walk into this beautiful oasis of plants, decoration and much more. Staff was friendly and helpful and the plants were not over priced like the ones in Ottawa. I highly recommend taking the drive out to Russell and checking it out for yourself.
