BFM Thrift Store Pembroke

Was just accused of stealing for bringing my groceries to Bibles for Misson Pembroke. The Karen working literally took my groceries from me. Absolutely humiliating. And these places are suppose to be helping people. The lady working was literally laughing at me. Such a terrible experience. She was also waving at me as I was leaving the store after the extremely uncomfortable encounter. I've had weird experiences with this women before. She appears to be irritated and on edge a lot of the time. Sad because I very much enjoyed this store. The entitlement was sickening.

I go because the prices are fair. It is actually a donation place where splendid volunteers work and where I always find a nice surprise

Volunteer was incredibly rude and items were absurdly priced. A solid wood dresser covered in scratches was listed at $299.00 and a second hand winter coat $69.00… they claim to be non-profit but their prices are outrageous. This makes thrift shopping virtually inaccessible for those who can’t afford to buy new. Some “George” brand clothing items from Walmart listed higher than Walmart prices. Severely disappointed.

A Columbia jacket for $70? You can buy them brand new at winners for $40.disgusting

Nice wide aisles and great parking. Prices are higher for a thrift store. Extremely clean and well organized. Very friendly staff made my family and I feel very welcome. I will definitely be visiting next time I'm in town.
