It was very good experience. I have been here3-4 times. Friendly staff with quick service. The place was clean, and the vibes were nice. Very good option for vegetarians.
Have been here quite a few times. We have ordered Chole Bhature, Aloo Tikki, Panipuri, Vada Pav, Mumbai Street Dosa, Chai and Grilled Bombay Sandwich in the last few visits. They have one of the BEST chole bhatures I have had in GTA/Toronto. Only issue is that they charge extra for pickle and onion which is weird for a desi place. The dosa, tea, vada pav panipuri and aloo tikki were ok too. Their fried food doesn't feel too oily which is the best part. The worst was their Mumbai Grilled Sandwich. No taste & no spices. It wasn't even remotely close to the popular Mumbai Grilled sandwich. They put some plain aloo stuffing in with some veggies. Was very poorly done and the quantity was too small for the price you pay. Overall - this is the best place for some good Dilli style Chole Bhature. For the rest of the menu, you got better places in GTA you can try.
Today we ordered phulkas, Palak Paneer and Bhindi. The phulkas were smaller than the size of kids palm which is priced at 2.25$ and it was so dry. We always order from Bhai as my kid loves Palak Paneer from this restaurant. From last couple of time the quality and quantity both have dropped drastically.
Went to this restaurant with friends for Dinner. They have an all vegetarian menu with Indian and Hakka Chinese options. They have beautiful interiors but I wish the food matched their interior standards. We ordered Palak Paneer, Phulka Roti, Chole Bhature, Pani Puri Shots, Tandoori Momos, Pav Bhaji. From the lot, we liked only the Palak Paneer and the Bhature. The Pav Bhaji was too tangy and chole lacked flavor and felt like boiled chickpea. The tandoori momos felt bland. Apart from the food, their service was quick and the servers were courteous and friendly. The prices are reasonable.
We hope that the management consider our review. Would love to be back and update our review!
We visit this restaurant often. Yesterday, we ordered veg Manchurian, the taste was good but the pricing ($12.95) was horrible as we just got 6 small veggie balls each size of a little cherry. I also gave feedback at the counter regarding this. Please consider this as a serious feedback. Thank you.
It's a nice Vegetarian restaurant. We had our food on Patio - lovely ambience. We ordered Cauliflower dumplings as a starter which was delish! But no Chinese Sauce was served alongwith it. Main meal was of fried rice and Manchurian which was again tasty and mild which we had requested for. Service is slow - as in we had to ask to refill our water and then we were served cold water!
Ordered one dish for take out - absolutely the smallest serving size I have ever seen, and for the price this restaurant won't be visited again. Taste was good but nothing that stands out compared to other average indian restaurants.
Loved the ambiance of the place. The food and service is amazing, love their Masala Pasta and Chole Bhature. The only negative thing is the food is on a bit pricy side.
This restaurant a few years ago used to be our favourite place to go. Since then, the quality has really gone downhill. Last few times, the food has been so unfresh, my whole family got food poisoning.
Second, the variety on the menu is very limited. They have really not added any new items in many years. The Host ironically has many more tasty vegetarian and paneer dishes for example. Why not bring these to Bhai’s!
Finally, the restaurant crowd and restaurant cleanliness has really gone down. It is very loud and rowdy these days. Not a good family place to come.
Very tasty. Wide variety of vegetarian food including southern and northern Indian dishes. Friendly service. Moderately priced. Decent lunchtime Thali take out specials. Comfortable and homey seating. Not as crazy about the Hakka dishes - but most of the things I have tasted on the menu have been quite good.
Food is ok. But tea is not at all good. At 2.50 you expect at least a decent tea. But it’s very thin and not at all good. Samosas are good but the hyped tandoori momos are not at all great. The filing is not up to the mark
The choley were perfectly cooked and extremely flavourful. The bun/ kulcha was soft. One of the bhatura was perfectly fine and you will get the real Delhi taste. I reduced one star as one of the bhatura was oily which happens when it's not rolled out properly.
One of the best north Indian veg places in Toronto.
We have been coming here almost every month since the last 1 year and we have never been disappointed.
Chole bhaturey and vada pav are my personal favourites. Sad to see them discontinue delhi wala matar kulcha, was another favorite of mine. If anyone is looking for some awesome Indian street food in Toronto, you need not go anywhere else. We have introduced our friends and our visiting family members and everyone has loved the food here.
Thank you guys for giving us a taste of India here in toronto.
I ordered a dahi puri yesterday and all I got in the bag was the condiments NO PURI NO POTATOES NO POMEGRANATES. HORRIBLE SERVICE! Why charge so much and rob people of their purchase and no the place wasn't even busy.
Been here a few times and always enjoy the food (and of course the chole bhature). Giving 4 stars because of how cold they keep the restaurant. Seriously, had to ask staff to raise heat and made no difference. Makes for uncomfortable dining experience. Raise the heat for 5 stars!
Worst food with the minimum quantity. If you order 2 Punjabi Sabji then you will get the Same gravy and this people are their time oriented and customer service is at the worst. I would more than happy to spend my money in tim hortons rather than going over there.
I ordered samosa's really disappointed in size they are just like two bite samosa they should mention mini samosa for this amount or something they are just kidding for samosa's Moreover taste is also no so good i think they are using old potato masala for samosa's and masala dosa
Full stars for these guys. I was so hungry that i just called the moment they opened. My vada pav and chai was ready within 15 mins. One of the best vada pav i ever had in Canada.you giys nailed it. The staff girl was really really polite
I ordered paneer butter masala and rotis. It tasted great. The noodles contained chopped vegetables with barcode stockers. Such careless cooking is UNACCEPTABLE. Taste of food is good but personally, hygiene and careful cooking is important for every restaurant. I hope it is taken care of asap.
Completely disappointed with the food. We ordered Tandoori Momos and it was hard, didn’t taste like Momos at all. The Paneer Butter masala was nothing great too. Nothing special to talk about hospitality as no one seems to care whether you like the food or not. I believe in what you get for what you pay. But it’s not true always.
Very good small place for Indian food. Very good polite service. Best Indian Tea in town. Very polite servers specially Manpreet, Jiwan, Rajnish and Manjot. If you are in Richmond Hill Ont. Please visit this place for good Indian food and excellent service.
One of worst restaurant, I have faced. I ordered 2 aalu and gobi prantha.there is too much dust in prantha. I am getting stone in prantha. I will never ever recommend this restaurant.
Great Ambience and location. I think it is so far the best indian vegetarian in North York/ Richmond hill area. Great service and delicious main course food.
Hugely disappointed! They had a very limited menu (Menu for the Day) in comparison to their website and that too, some of the items on the limited menu were not available. Garlic naan was overdone and hard. This place is overrated. Management needs to update their website as it is very misleading for the public.
One word review: AUTHENTIC It’s amazing how how they can make every single dish so authentic. I wish they had a location in Vancouver coz it would do phenomenally well. Great staff and service and aahhh i miss the Banta?
Im not a vegetarian so this was new. Didnt know what to order. The waitress helped us out. We ordered a bit of everything. The food was super tasty and was impressed. The Dosa was ok, Ive had better but all the other dishes we ordered was excellent. Would return again.
I ordered fulka roti from here asked me if I have another 10-15 min I asked if it could be any quicker and they warmed a wrap and gave it to me it wasn’t a good experience
A menu tailored to enhance your mood! We deeply enjoy the food offered at bhai’s kitchen. Its a delight to enjoy authentic food prepared with adequate spices and love. Very welcoming staff- caters to folks needs respectfully. Wholesome experience. I highly recommend making a visit to create some yummy moments!
The patio was nice there was nobody else there besides us which was great. We ordered Chana Bhatura which was amazing, tasty and fresh. Would definitely go back and try their other dishes.
If you are looking for amazing food, that tastes like the food from Delhi, you have to try this place out. The chhole bhature are amazing. And the vada pao reminds you of what you would have eaten in Mumbai.
Awesome food and amazing ambience. Reminds me of actual Indian Street food! Ordered Paneer butter masala, chole bhature, paratha and panipuri, everything super tasty! Totally a must visit place!:)
Nice n cosy to get all u want in vegetarian indian chat / snax and some full meals as well. My favourites chhole & vada pav so far. Need to try some other interesting items on menu. Service great and staff warm and welcoming always.
I had rated you 5 but after yesterday's takeaway where it was half filled I am compelled to downgrade my rating. Why would you do that, was it because it was closing time and only that much of Veggie was left.
Went for take out. Ordered Paneer Butter Masala off their 'express' lunch menu and it took over 30 minutes to make. It is mostly rice, one samosa, and 4 small pieces of Paneer. It tasted good, but is very VERY overpriced for what you get. The naan was over-buttered so the bottom fried too much and the top was soggy. Call ahead for your order because it's definitely not 'express'. I won't be going back.
Simple, modern, all vegetarian specialty Indian restaurant. Nice and cozy interior, friendly service, great tasting food! I could easily convert to becoming vegan LOL!
Went there for the first time, the restaurant looked great but the rest wasn't tht great. The food was ok and over priced I think for the serving the cost is high.
This place is over rated. Went there to have their dosa after reading reviews and oh boy! Was I disappointed. I even saw a cockroach on the floor which only makes me wonder what condition would their kitchen be in
Liked their noodle burger but still wouldn't go there again.
Fair ambience but, disappointed with the quality of the food they served. Dishes were not fresh, half cooked rice and excess oil in samosas reminds me the frozen food I used to cook. Try to serve quality food and then include gratuity without asking the customers. Will never visit again.
Regular customer, I have always ordered food for home delivery. My favorite are aloo gobhi and lacha/tawa partha. Only recommendation will be for panner malkani, try doing something with the gravy.
Not worth travelling alot for this place, but if you are nearby you can surely stopover for a quick snack. I found pricing on a bit higher side. Chola Bhaturas are must try, rest can be skipped for sure.
