Bickford Park

The park is ok, but there's a foul septic smell by the baseball diamond making watching games kinda gross

It's a nice park, there's a really big off leash dog area that is pretty nice, though it seems there are dogs off leash all over the park. Other than that, the baseball field is decent. Lots of open space. It's become quite a busy park in recent years always something going on.

Great place to picnic, take the dog to the off-leash area or pay respects to a friend! Not crazy like other city parks.

It's a sizeable park in the city. Unfortunately their off-leash dog park still uses pea-gravel. My dogs' paws and many others get cuts from these type of materials. Hopefully they'll change it to wood chips. Also the water fountain still not working when other parks across the city already operating.

Baseball diamond, tons of grass to run around with a frisbee (just careful of others around you).

The dog park here is good. Small but offers some good shade during the Spring and Summer months

Lesser known cousin of Christie Pits, love hanging out here for late afternoon sunsets. There is a dog park that is perfect for dog watching, and both Harbord and Bloor street action nearby. All of Christie Pits, Bickford, and Trinity Bellwoods are remnants of the ancient Garrison River that has been buried by the city over time.

Go here all the time with my dog! People around are friendly, and occasionally my lil man will get some sandwich meat from some people picnicking. You just have to be mindful and respectful of the soccer and baseball players during the summer, they aren't too fond of the dogs running between their legs if you take your furry friend off leash.

Nice park to run through to get to Christie Pits. I had fun taking night shots. I think there's someone living in a tent there? Oh well covid. There's also a small dog park and nice side streets. Overall enjoy this neighborhood park.

This park is great for taking dogs or just having a picnic, it’s a dog bowl like park and has a dog area and a large amount of open space

Bickford park is the best backyard park anyone could ask for. We take our dog there everyday to play in the dog park, go sledding on the hill and watch folks play baseball and soccer. It's in a valley nestled in a neighbourhood that only gets busy around rush hour so it's nice and quiet and serenene at night or early in the morning. Great neighbourhood park.

The East side gait area smells end is not kept up. The stones in the area cover the cement and there is poor grading so they just return to cover the entrance way.

My favourite dog park. Convenient parking, a good enclosed dog park and a huge field people use for off-leash fetch.

Its been our favourite place to take our dog to socialize with others. There are variety of dog sizes and the great think is that they have a wide grass field for your doggie enjoy the nature. Thumb up for this one

One of my favourite LCBO's in the city. The people watching is top notch! Staff is friendly and full of patience.

One of the best parks in the area, instead of heading to Christie Pits walk here. At the very north side of this park there is a community school with a beautiful mural filled walk between the buildings of the school. That opens upto a large open field with hills on either side, a baseball diamond at the far end and a closed dog park at the very end. The dog park is very nice and has a water fountain, though no bowl for water.

Nice little park, there isa fenced in dog area where you can let you for legged friend wander off leash, unfortunately it's all gravel, so not the nicest dog park. I see people letting there dogs run on the grassed area just outside, which I would recommend so long add there is not a baseball or softball game in play. There is plenty of park benches to relax on as well.

Hidden gem in the city. Super nice and peaceful in the summer and you can watch people play softball. And there's a dog walking park. I imagine when school is in session it's less peaceful!

Gem of a park in the city - below street level so the ambient city noises are totally muted. Nice spot to relax with a book.

This is my favourite park in harbord village area. With a great dog park, and a bustling baseball field, there are always people around and things to look at. Chill vibe that is great to sit around in the evenings.

This is a well used small neighborhood park, nothing special but loved by dogs, their owners, sports teams & folks relaxing having a chat.

The dog park is small, but the rest of the park is really great for lounging and playing sports. It's definitely not as crowded as the Pitts across Bloor

I grow up right next to the park. And we use to go tobogganing and run around playing highed and seek. And the last time I seen it people were letting there dogs run all over the park it's not there fault. It's the city's fault and you know dogs need to go pee and well you know? And they don't cut the grass at all on the sides of the hillsides and it looks very bad.

This is where the dogs go to have a little fun. There's also some nice hills to sled down in the winter.
