Food is generally good service is always hit or miss but never had a bad experience. We regularly go.

I don't do reviews but long time customer but just had the Club Sandwich for the first time and its probably the best I ever had. That is all.

I am very disappointed in the menu changes made since the last time I went to Big Rig. They used to make an amazing Pad Thai which was no longer available.
Their honey garlic chicken wings are nothing like they used to be either. I found them now to be very tough and dry.

Overall the portion sizes are still decent and pricing OK. But sad to say this has gone from a place I would be excited about to meh its OK.

I had a fantastic time at Big Rig Kitchen and Brewery, and I'd rate it 4 stars. The real star of the show was adding pulled pork to their pizza. While the rest of the menu was good, this pizza truly stood out and has had me come back several times. The service was friendly, and the atmosphere was typical, If you go, definitely don't miss the pulled pork pizza

Amazing food at the Big Rig. I got the fish and chips and it was great. The portion size was also very large. Will definitely come here again.

The Big Rig exceeded my expectations as a sports bar. The food selections are great and taste delicious. I particularly enjoyed the Cajun flavoured Jambalaya rice dish, paired really well with the light Radler.

Kids enjoyed the pizza with bottomless pops.

Service was outstanding, the waitress was attentive and friendly.

Fantastic food. Friendly, fast service. Large portions. My mashed potatoes were dry and had an odd taste, but everything else was amazing.

I can only say wings and nachos were amazing! Highly recommend this place as also they make their own beer!

A large indoor and large patio space. One of the few local pubs in this area of town. The beer is straight forward. The food is a little over priced for what it is. And parking can be challenging here. It's a popular spot for house league teams, the after work crowd and on game nights.

The food was good. The drinks great. Service was friendly and professional. I would go back. Plenty of free parking

A little wait to get in, but worth it. Best Cobb salad in town. Real chicken, fresh greens, very impressed! Oh, and the beer is good too!

Service was ok but never great there. We went a few times. It is hit and miss. This time we ordered the Alfredo dip entree and the butter chicken and it was really good. We went during lunch hour on a weekend and the place was fairly clean. The beer is never really great for my husband that loves IPA's and micro brewery. For myself I drink wine and they have a good selection.

Food not as advertised and is awful for the price. Girlfriend had a hair in her food, felt like she couldn't send hers back because I had already sent the watery "cooked 24 hours" brisket back.

The place just had a sign on the door saying due to staffing issues no tables will be seated.

Waited at least 20 mins, still hadn't received water. Watched the other sections server come and go frequently with drinks/food, and didn't see our server once. Tried to let him know we'd be leaving, but left because we STILL didn't see our server after probably 30-40 mins. I don't think he came out even after we left the parking lot. Terrible service, water should be an immediate thing, without question. I'll add that there were maybe 5 tables in total between both servers, so not like they were overwhelmed. We more than likely won't be returning anytime soon.

Update: After messaging management back & forth for a couple weeks, they've decided to just ignore me completely. Thanks for solidifying my review.

Fantastic take-out pizza. Tie for the best pizza in the city. You can purchase their canned beer for take-out. Hard to find a better restaurant for the price.

Great food, atmosphere, service, and portions! Server was attentive, enthusiastic and had a great beer recommendation! Will definitely be going again!

Had a burger and it was better than expected! The patty was still juicy and full of flavor. I wasn't a fan of their fries but I know it's a personal thing. Beer went down well on a well covered patio on a very sunny day, and our server was great!

Covid controls well implemented in inside dining area. Food was good as was the beer. Well worth a visit

Great service and food! They provide large portions, so it's a great deal if you're really hungry. We ordered a small pizza, fries, and the jambalaya rice. Then we picked up some additional cans of beer to take home.

Amazing food, great service and awesome atmosphere. Their pizza is awesome, Mac n Cheese to die for. Burgers are huge. Just go you wont be disappointed.

Went for lunch with family recently at suggestion of husband who had tried the place with friends and thought it was great. Overall experience was good. Food was delicious and generous portions. Servers were friendly and efficient. However, my jambalaya did not have any lobster in it, which was supposed to be included according to the menu. Husband mentioned that when he'd had the jambalaya previously he had not noticed any lobster either. I asked the server about it and she checked with the kitchen- I was correct, no lobster, but I'd been given extra shrimp. Sorry, but that's not on. Lobster is expensive and was the item I was most looking forward to enjoying. Had I been told they were out of lobster I wouldn't have selected the dish. Also, the fact that my husband's dish contained no lobster either - weeks ago- makes me suspect that perhaps there is never any lobster in the dish. I would have given 5 stars except for this. At $25 for the dish, it should be as described.

Service was nice. Food was good.find it a bit pricey for the quantity received.but the service made up for that.

A small vegetarian pizza, I couldn't finish it so I'm taking half home, LOL. They have huge portions and everything was delicious. Fast service too. Our lunch was a little more expensive than I expected but totally worth it. ️

Big Rig sent us a charred pizza, soggy fries and onion rings and then tried to blame the driver for additional missing items. Not impressed. There are so many places to order from to get quality food for your fam jam. Go somewhere else!

It was my first time here and it was well spaced out with the pandemic happening. Servers were friendly and nice. I had the pork belly grilled Cheese sandwich which was amazing! They served it with their homemade beer ketchup! I wish I could have taken a big jar home it was absolutely delicious. Make sure to get some, it's worth it

Food is excellent quality, portions (and quality) are totally worth the prices. The beer selection is excellent, as well.

Super friendly staff and the food is fantastic. I'm so happy we went back to big rig after six year hiatus. Our favorite are the club sandwich and burgers. At some of their amazing Pilsner and radler and you are set.

Good beer. Good atmosphere. Friendly staff.

The pizza used to be great, but some time in the last year they forgot how to make it. The dough is completely undercooked and the entire thing is a soupy mess. This has happened multiple times, so I can't order it anymore.

They either need thicker dough, cook the pie longer, or at a hotter temperature.

C'est bien, cependant rien d'exceptionnel. Ça fait 2 fois que j'y vais et je n'aime pas particulièrement leur bière. Endroit comme des centaines d'autres à Ottawa.

Great craft beer. Especially the Scotch ale. Beautiful restaurant and the staff are always very friendly. Prices can be high at times.
Patio is nice. And they have amazing pizza.
Lose one star for the high prices on menu items. Beer prices are average.

Went for brunch and had a surprisingly good breakfast and they are open earlier than I expected. Not too busy which was nice. Fast service and no rush to kick us out like many other busier spots in Ottawa.

The staff is firendly and polite. The food is okay bar food with a bit of elevation. However the A/C sucks inside the resturant. If possible sit on the patio to get a nice breeze.
