Awful unhelpful staff that didn’t understand food allergies at all. Literally made me ILL by not listening to my dietary restrictions.

Came here a couple of times, it's a really clean restaurant, the washroom is super clean. Food is yummy, I wish the dessert has more options, there are only 4 flavors of icecream on the lunch menu, not sure about dinner menu. Easy to find parking.

This place was very busy had to wait for service a couple of times witch is understandable great staff and service will be coming back.

Food was pretty good, one of the better all you can eat sushi places in the area. Decent price point too. Service wasn't great though, staff were a bit abrupt and unfriendly.

I enjoyed every bit of the meal. Just ensure you detoxify before you go there, so you can have as much as all of their menu. It's a great place.

We had a great experience at Big Tuna! We did the all you can eat deal. Everything we ordered was very good. The service was great. The atmosphere was relaxing. Reasonably priced. Enjoyed it very much️

Lunch ayce tips:
well-balanced green dragon roll, niiiice sashimi, light and crisp shrimp tempura, and avocado salad. Nutrient rich, not too salty or oily (go easy on the tempura or wash down with some hot tea), and tasty.

I wish I could give 3.5 stars. The food is good, so I keep going/ordering from here. Service is just okay. Nobody seems very happy there, friendly customer service doesnt seem like much of a priority. But food is very good. If you order take out, expect to wait 20-30 mins past pick up time.

They must not have any type of cleaning policy or any janitor’s, place isn’t too clean especially in the washrooms.if you care about price for quality this isn’t the place to be.staff are nice as far as i can tell, food is mediocre at best.

This used to be my go to sushi place. The service is deplorable. The wait time to get your food is worse every time I’m here. We have been here over an hour already and have not gotten refills at all. We’ve come here and had plastic wrap on our sushi and still come back and given them another chance. This is truly the last time I bother. It isn’t worth the money or the time. I’d rather go to East and be served in a reasonable time frame and get food that tastes fresh.

I have never ordered takeout and it been ready on time. If you are going to provide a pick up time, evaluate how busy you are and assign the appropriate pick up time. Today I waited 30 minutes upon arrival. When I politely asked to speak to a manager, I was told “it’s busy” and the attendant pointed at my food that was finally ready. I have always turned a blind eye to the lateness and lack of customer service as this location is simply convenient. Now I’ll go out of my way to pick up elsewhere.

We had a great experience for lunch today. The service was incredible and the food was good. Certainly comparable to other AYCE sushi restaurants in the area, but a few dollars cheaper.

This place was really nice great atmosphere very nice waitress a little bit overpriced I thought and I thought I was eating a buffet type meal where it was all you can eat for so much but it turned out to be quite expensive me and my three kids are here $141 later we left, but we were all full and the food was excellent. But wow I'm used to $14 all you can eat sushi lunch.

We had a party of 20 (called ahead of time). Considering the sheer chaos we threw at them they were AMAZING. Super nice, cheerful, wonderful service. They went above and beyond, and they only have an auto gratuity of 15%. That was not enough imo, they deserved the 35% we gave them. I've been there a several times before and it's always been great. I can't think of a single complaint I've ever had.

- Last experience with big tuna ; the beef and chicken skewers were old and not good at all. We ordered garlic beef, and it came cold, We told the worker here that we couldn't eat the skewers simply because it looked and tastes utterly digusting (we had ordered this dish before and came back fine). Manager came and told us that we had to eat it and charged us $10 for not eating the skewers. We had eaten everything else and was kind enough to not tell them about the cold garlic beef. For the people out here that plan on going to big tuna: don't. Not recommended.simply either you eat old and rotten dish or you get charged.

The service was really slowed! Waited almost for 45-55 minutes for the foods to come in. The quality of the foods are not good overall, the sashimi was alright, but other foods was lack of seasonings or not fresh and cold! When we tried to order more drinks and ask for more water, there was one server just said she doesn't understand English and just left without sending other servers to help!

I bring my girlfriend here for her birthday every year and we are never disappointed. Quality dishes and always get what we order in a timely manner, I love that the dishes are small so you are able to try so many. Best place to go out for Asian cuisine in niagra region.

Hands down the best sushi in Niagara Region and the best AYCE sushi. Everything always Fresh the Salmon and Red Tuna sashimi are fantastic. The service is always great and prompt. We've been coming since they opened and Connie and Sonny run a perfect restaurant. Everything is clean and kept up. Prices are fair and cash discounted. Their takeout and ala carte is even better. Kai and the other servers are all fantastic. The sushi Chefs are amazing for ayce sushi.

My new favorite sushi place! Everything is fresh and tasty, tons of food options please any palette. Atmosphere is sleek and inviting, service is quick and there is never an issue with you getting what you've ordered.

First time here and was pleasantly surprised at the look of the place and the quality of the food. Had the all-you-can-eat lunch for only $20 which turned out to be amazing. Didn't expect that quality for such a relatively low price

I've never been to a restaurant this awesome. Thanks Big Tuna, service was awesome, food was delicious, and servers acted so friendly that it feels like you're royalty. I pity those people who's missing out on Big Tuna. This is the perfect place to eat, whether you're doing a la carte or all you can eat. Love this place

The food is very good here. They have good mango puddings and Creme brûlée. Their sushi and steak Is very good, I would definitely recommend this place as it has a variety of sashimi, desserts, and sushi.

Awesome place, been there 3 times now. I love how they use smaller portions so you can actually enjoy many things off the menu without wasting and the quality of their food is great. I always pay in cash to get that 10% discount but put it back into the tip anyway, so it actually comes out cheaper in the end than most of those sub-par sushi joints downtown but with higher quality products. I'll be coming back for sure.
(they also have discounts for people who have had WLS)

The restaurant was clean and peaceful. The atmosphere was so nice and the food was indescribably good. Servers were friendly and they took their time even though it was busy. I definitely recommend this restaurant, and if I can I would rate this a 6 star. DEFINITELY coming back for sure!

I love this place! At times the food is prepared differently so I presume it's a different chef although when I asked they say no it's always the same chef. Overall it's the best place for sushi and Wind is also amazing.

All you can eat 17.99 for lunch, a little more for dinner time. Order from menu on a tablet, cooked fresh after ordering. Excellent food, and presentation. Cosey, clean, restaurant, friendly staff

The staff was unpleasant from the second we sat down and ordered anything other than water for drinks. We were served curdled mango pudding and felt like they were rushing us out of there after we ordered desert. Usually, we get 10% when paying with cash but apparently they don't honor that if everyone at the table doesn't pay cash. Which is bull.

Good service (lots of drink refills, food comes out quickly and dirty dishes are taken away promptly) and good atmosphere. Tons of selection on the menu! Watch when ordering as some items are 1 per order while others are 3 per order. Our kids really enjoy eating there as well and have lots of options.

This sushi restaurant is spectacular. The food is exquisite and the service is fantastic. Drinks are refilled before the need and the food orders are sent to the kitchen almost immediately. 5/5 cannot wait until next visit

I have eaten at this establishment several times now. I feel the price is reasonable and the selection is good. The restaurant is clean and pleasant. The washrooms are clean and the staff are polite.

Love the small sharing sizes in the all you can eat.the staff is usully the very best. 1 problem with the servers reaching over the table to get the water glass.besides that we really enjoy coming here.not on a regular base. It's a little pricey. And can take a long time.

Very dissapointed in my experience at Big Tuna today. My boyfriend and I used to be frequent dinners here, because we believed they were the best sushi in town and they had a wide variety of vegan friendly options. Due to our experience today, we will not be returning.
My boyfriend, who is vegan, ordered one of their tofu dishes. It wasn't until he was at the bottom of the bowl, that he discovered a piece of beef. We confirmed with the waitress that it was in fact beef that we found in the vegan dish, and when we told her why this was an issue she laughed. Not only was this bad customer service, it was also very disrespectful. We explained that this was an issue, and that we shouldn't have to do an inspection of our tofu dish to make sure there is no meat in it.
They initially offered us a 10% discount if paying cash (WHICH IS WHAT THEY OFFER ALL THE TIME!) I pointed this out to them and they then said that if I paid credit they would take 5% off. The waitress then asked me if that wasn't good, then what would I like discounted, we said that we though 50% off the one lunch price would be fair. She came back with 15% off if paid cash and 10% off if paid credit. I tried to ask for a manager but there wasn't one there at the time.
When trying to again explain why this was an issue, and figure out this could have happened. The waitress stated that if we had told them it was food allergy before ordering they would have taken greater care and caution like washing the pans between dishes. This was a shock to us, because pans should always be washed between meat and veggie dishes.
We then stated that we felt there should be something more done by the manager. The waitress said they would call them, she came back and said she had talked to Connie her manager and they weren't able to offer a larger discount. We ended up paying $40 for two lunch prices (15% off because thankfully I had cash) and we didn't even get to enjoy it because we stopped ordering after we noticed the beef.
So to sum up, vegetarians and vegans beware, make sure you look through what you are served and to everyone who eats there hopefully you never have an issue cause they won't take it seriously and won't offer any sort of service recovery.

Been here several times. Definitely enjoy the food everytime we come here. The only concern is service. Depending on which server you get, it could be really quick or really slow. Yesterday's experience unfortunately was really slow. I will still come here for dinner, but service needs to improve.

My first time trying big tuna. Pleasant dinner staff. Was friendly we had three small children with us we had called and asked if it was child friendly they said yes, I would say it was a little more upscale. Good food, and if you pay with cash they give you 10% off.

Was a 5 star and slowly became a 1. This time was our last time. After receiving the incorrect order and letting them know, we were told that we were lying.twice. This was after confirming with the iPad 3 times. We never did receive our actual order after 2 hours of waiting.

I'm not sure where everyone else who gave them a 5 star was eating but it wasn't at Big Tuna because this place was not 5 star! We barely got any service while we were there. Spent 2 hours and hardly ate anything because it literally too forever to get our food. The worst part was it wasn't even that busy? ! Definitely would go to a different Sushi restaurant if you want quick service and actually get what you ordered. Need more staff for better service.

Reason for 4* is we've ordered from here before and generally good is good. Yesterday we ordered a chicken Pad Thai and a Basil Chicken. The Basil Chicken was excellent, the Pad Thai was sticky, not soft at all, lacked chicken in it and it seemed as if it was reheated. Very hard as I've never had one before. They say you should judge Thai restaurants by their Pad Thai. If that was the case this restaurant would be a 0*. Knowing that I've ordered from them before, found them on Skip the Dishes initially, and that they do have good food, I won't judge them this way. Maybe, if you're thinking Pad Thai stay away and choose a different place. Also, the Pad Thai was tasteless on top of that, peanuts weren't even included or offered, which is a must in my opinion.

I ordered food & was cold & quality not good & priced high, when i paid i have noticed they charge 20% on my credit card with out asking me, when i went here the next day to complain, one of the servers told me the owner is doing that with most customers & also the lady owner pay them cash under the table $6.00 per hour.i do not know how this owner could be so bad & no one is making a complain!

Went there for the first time a few weeks ago with a few people. Was recommended by someone in our group. The food was amazing. So fresh and melt in your mouth. One of our group doesn't eat sushi and we were all very pleased with the dinner menu and all it had to offer. The dishes were tasty, and the sushi was some of the best I've ever had. Our new favorite place to go for sure! Can't wait to go back. Would 100% recommend to anyone!

One of the best Asian places around! Amazing sushi, awesome curry dishes, everything fresh and made from quality ingredients! A must go for any Niagara traveller or resident alike!

The food quality was amazing. We loved the all you can eat menu, the sashimi, calamari and special rolls were so good. The red curry beef was my husband's favourite. The price was really good as well. The service was fast and attentive.

Really slow service went with a big group, it was a bit busy at first, so gave them the benefit of the doubt over 3 hours, ordered 4 times, and barely received my first order, never received my 2nd or 3rd order, last order I talked to them about it, they said to reorderr and still didn't get all the food, would come back here again
