Wow! An incredibly positive moving experience in every way! We closed on our house before knowing where our next house would be, so BigSteelBox (BSB) provided us with estimates for our three most probable destination cities. Their pricing was very competitive so we went ahead and ordered a 20-foot container for our move. Once we were all packed BSB picked up the container and they stored it at their yard. When we eventually purchased our next home they delivered the container to our new address on the day we requested. We had many glass tables and glassware so I was expecting to lose one or two pieces.not a single item was broken! BSB quotes were firm and there were no 'surprise' costs added. We highly recommend this moving service.

Sold my home and needed to store contents while waiting on closing of new home. Using Big Steel Box was the best decision. From my first call to make arrangements, right thru when containers picked up, and accommodating me with a 2nd container with only a couple of day’s notice, they made it so easy. All delivered and picked up as scheduled. Agents were quick to respond and so very ‘nice’ to deal with. I absolutely recommend them!

Amazing service! Very professional and thorough. Loved working with all of the staff and drivers! They moved my belongings all the way from rural Ontario to Cochrane AB with no issues whatsoever. I will definitely use this company again.

My mom and I had been looking for a company that can store our possessions until we were able to find a new apartment. We found BigSteelBox online and I called in. I was given a really good quote and a timeline for our container to be delivered and picked up. Everyone was very helpful over the phone and the driver who delivered and picked it up was very accommodating. We currently have my moms box in storage until we can find our new apartment.

Do not get me wrong, I am very happy about the service they provided.
I was going to give them a 4 star review but found that may not be fair. If they would work weekends as well would give them 6 stars.
It's a challenge to have the container on your driveway longer then need be, not providing service on weekends was a bummer.
Would I use them again, yes, in a heart beat!

I had a great experience using BigSteelBox for my cross country move. Sabrina (we have the same name) at the Mississauga terminal was extremely helpful.

Cannot even reach them on their direct phone number or the toll free number. How can you be in business if people cannot get a hold of them?

I used BigSteelBox to move this past December and I was pleasantly impressed with the service. At first I was a bit hesitant because other companies offering this service have more reviews etc.but the size of the container drew me to BigSteelBox.

Putting in the order for the container was very easy and seamless. They called prior to delivery and the box was dropped off in minutes. The box itself was very clean, and the doors provided a nice seal (we had some terribly windy and rainy days during this time), with no water entering the box.

When it came time to move my container again, very smooth with a call prior to coming. No items were damaged during the move, which made us happy because we were a bit concerned with the loading/unloading tilt that occurs, but everything was fine.

One small knit is that when using their online estimator for the size of box we would need it was not adequate. We rented the 20' box and probably could have used another 10' box, and we were a small 3 bdrm house.

Outstanding service and - arguably - the best price for long distance moving. Prompt. Clean. On-time.
