The weed nightmare started the day I used BYB Black Garden Soil.

I'm so disappointed in the results. This year I ordered 1 bag. In my front landscaping, I was generous in the use of the soil. It looked great going down. I was too generous, and didn't have enough. So I went to the local building store and picked up a few more.

It's clear. Everywhere I used the BYB soil, we were invaded with extremely aggressive weeds, 4 feet tall. Everywhere else was fine. It's like a huge green sign: the BYB soil is here.

My front landscaping is a horror movie. So bad. It will cost me a great deal of money to clean this up. I'm so disapointed. NEVER EVER AGAIN.

Order process was very easy. As it turns out I made a mistake on the online form that customer service was quick to rectify. Delivery was just a few days after I ordered and the driver placed the BigYellowBag exactly where we requested. I am very pleased with the service received.

The big yellow crew are my new gardening buddy because they are exceptional in their customer service! I called them and they actually sent their delivery man (the nicest person ever!) to come and move it for me to a desired spot. Great quality, you won't find better, I tried a few other companies over the years but switched back. Always delivered on time and where you want it. They have discounts if you order by a certain date which is cool.

Delivery date, time and location was as promised. The delivery email with the picture was appreciated. I think 1 bag of seed wasn't enough for overseeding bundle to mix 40/1. Would have appreciated 2 bags of seed.

I have used Big Yellow Bag a few times, and each and every time my experience has been the same. They are prompt, and arrive when they tell you they will. They are friendly and professional, and very quick. If only they would spread the soil too ;)

Now, if you get a deal at a home show or other dealer event, the discount offered is quite nice, otherwise it does seem pricey. One year in particular I figured I would try a competitor offering a substantially lower price. BIG MISTAKE! My cubic yard of soil was full of rocks, and twigs, but worse.within a few weeks of spreading it I had weeds like never before. And for someone who uses WeedMan each and every year, I know first hand it was poor quality soil.
