A great Bike Shop run by volunteer staff. Normally does DIY drop in hours but also helping people with curbside parts and repairs while you wait. Very quick turn around! Also a great place to donate your old bicycle.

Let's start with the staff – a collection of disinterested and seemingly untrained individuals who appeared more interested in their personal conversations than assisting customers. It was as if I had stumbled upon a secret society of bike enthusiasts who resented anyone daring to interrupt their sacred gathering.

The inventory was equally disappointing. The bikes on display looked like relics from a bygone era, and it seemed the shop had a deep commitment to stocking only the most outdated and lacklustre models. The complete absence of any modern, cutting-edge bicycles left me questioning if this place had somehow missed the memo on the evolution of bike technology.

As for customer service, I found myself longing for the warmth and efficiency of a robot. The staff's disinterested attitude and lack of product knowledge left me fumbling through my questions like a lost soul in a bike-themed purgatory.

And let's not even get started on the pricing – it was as if they had decided to adopt a "make up numbers on the spot" policy. The astronomical figures attached to even the most basic bikes were enough to make my wallet cringe in horror.

Have to edit. To share my other experience, which is totally not great, see #2 below.

#1. Great people. I was helped by Melissa, she's amazing. Found the best 700c rim for me, installed an almost new tire, now my bike can run again!

#2. Came on Sunday, to just buy an inner tube. Was asked to have a nice day instead. Based on my gender. Sunday is for women and trans people, apparently.
There was no line, there were very few people inside, and I was not even coming in. I told them, it seemed discrimination to me. And they said "It's our mandate today".
I CAN HARDLY BELIEVE it's possible, in Canada, the country where discrimination is so rare compared to other countries.
I understand they are non-profit, and we should be thankful to them anyway, but such blunt discrimination based on gender - hey, it's a shame!

P. S. No, they don't have a separate day for men as of June 18,2023

They taught me how to repair my severely damaged bike, it only took an hour and they asked for $5 at the end.

Great place for everything bike related! Special mention for Derek who worked on my bike and was knowledgeable, professional, thorough, friendly and went above and beyond to make my bike the best it could be.
