Great rink, and the diligent staff keep the place spotless. Ice is well maintained, and the tuck shop is great. Get your skates sharpened here. Love all the staff!
Very cool community run rink. Our friends in the neighborhood who use it brought us for an afternoon family skate on the weekend. No fee needed, which is rare.
This place is literally a hidden gem! Just off Bathurst, north of Bloor - so only a 6-7 minute walk from Bathurst Station - is this ice pad. We've only used it for it's free-skate hours with our son, but there are hockey teams constantly booking the ice (as you'd expect). It's definitely an older arena, but more than functional! We also love that during the free-skate, they section off 20% of the ice (so just inside the blue line to the boards) for tiny children learning to skate. Best of all, they have a bunch of plastic supports young kids can use to hold onto while learning how to stand in their skates. Leave all valuables at home though since you'll need to leave your personal items unattended outside the ice (i.e, there are no lockers to lock your stuff up in).
I live in the area with my wife and two kids. The staff are very nice, the hockey and skating programs are very reasonably priced, only thing that is annoying is parking:)
Small, community arena, but offers many programs, proshop for purchases and sharpening, as well as food and beverage. Friendly staff. Public skate 3 days a week. Good ice. No skate rentals.
