Open early, amazing staff and almost anything you could ever need.if something isn't in stock or if you're looking for something specific these guys will get it in for you.these guys know their stuff and will definitely point you in the right direction when trying to target specific species of fish. I have been coming here for a while and would highly recommend this store to any new or experienced angler.

Top notch! These guys get products other places don’t even know about. Got a 2021 Shimano reel that you can’t even find in Ontario. Other places acted as if it weren’t coming around for a long time while some tried to sell me last yrs model (BassnoPro). If they don’t have they will order u what u need and help with all info needed on any products. If u sift thru their bins you can find great deals on expensive products. They also are open 7 days a week early in the am. #1

Great fishing store, they have absolutely everything you need for fishing. As a fish enthusiast who seems to know a thing or two about fishing, man they’re knowledgeable! Staff was nice and welcoming, will come again. Prices are fair but definitely not cheap. They do have good stuff tho, definitely recommended.

Consistently the best store in Southern Ontario for all bait and tackle needs. Staff are straight up and honest plus go out of their way to make sure customer's needs are met. I drive by other stores to go to Bills.:)

I've been going here for years and I've never had an issue, service has been great. The last 2 days I came in there has been a guy I've never seen before and he is useless. I asked about chestwaders and he just said they are all on the top shelf. Well the top shelf is 10ft up and I can't see prices or anything. No offer to help or anything, if I see this guy in the store again I'm just going to turn back around and leave. I hope the owners see this because they have always been awesome, dont let this guy ruin your reputation and cost you money.

Best tackle and bait store in Ontario. Staffs were amazing and very professional. We went there for just checking. Finally we bought two fishing rods and reels. Prices are very reasonable.

Had my first experience with Bill's Bait & Tackle this week. They were able to get my daughter outfitted with her first fishing set up. They were professional and friendly. I will buy gear from nowhere else. Big thanks for helping my daughter catch her first fish!

Awesome selection and affordable. I called ahead looking for a specific brand and they confirmed they had it. They helped me pick out a number of items. Always fishing tips on the whiteboard outside which is neat.

Bill's Bait is the only place I buy fishing stuff/outdoor stuff at. They are always incredibly helpful.they carry all the best stuff and give you the best local knowledge. These guys live the outdoors so you can trust their advice! On top of these guys being awesome their prices are also great. They treat you more life a family member than a customer.

These guys are phenomenal! Literally have been to every fishing place across the southern gta from Cambridge up to North York and these guys are seriously your one stop shop! From bait, nets, hooks, reels and rods and waders and boots! Very impressed with the selection and stock that even bigger companies such as Sail and Canadian Tire cannot provide. Support local - support those who know their educated information, who arent just trying to make a sale out of you! Bonus- they have the cutest doggy to say hello to!

My friend Joe went into your store recently, here is his story. Your staff is very polite, very knowledgeable and very helpful. He ordered a Shimano reel SW 20000 Stella. He then inquired on a rod he wasn't sure about. Joe decided to go with the extra heavy Grappler XL rod and what you did for him was above and beyond customer service. You had ordered all three different sizes medium, heavy and extra heavy for him to choose from. He wanted to send you a special thank you for all that you have done and highly recommends anyone to visit your shop for their fishing equipment.

It's a little tight inside. But its got everything you could need for the next fishing trip. Staff is knowledgeable and isn't shady. They want to make sure you are satisfied. If you have any questions don't be scared to ask, just make sure your not taking up too much time. He's too polite to end the conersation to help the next person, because he wants to make sure you never feel ignored. But he's got a business to run. All round good guy good place. Never had an issue

I had a bad experience with the staffs didnt had the item I was looking for, and didnt gave me fishing licences because my I'd from different province, even tough that I provided an ontario address that I just moved into, and tried to prove the address by mails on my name but they didnt give me time to search the phone to show them the mail and made me feel like I waste their time and they rush me out because they had more people behind me on the line that try to pay. Not going back there for sure or recommend anyone.

I needed a couple rod and reel combos for birthday presents, as usual the staff at Bills were very friendly with a warm greeting. They asked if I needed help and pointed me in the right direction and gave some great advice without the feeling of being pushed or pressured. This shop truly has the Hamilton Home Town feeling.

Was able to get everything I need at a reasonable price, no hassle.
Very good atmosphere and employees.
My main place to go from now on.

Been coming here since I was about 11ish, they are always friendly I remember that there was a dog that use to be in the store and it made my day anytime I went into the store with my dad. Does anyone know if the dog is still there by any chance

Very Covid 19 safe limiting numbers. If you know what u want they will just grab it for you so you don't have to go in. Great quality feeders and supplies. Knowledgable staff. Will put new line on your rod for you and maintain rod

Have bought multiple traditional bows and countless fishing accoutrements from these guys. Always top notch service and great value. Their prices rival the big box stores! Firm believer in supporting local and these guys make it easy. Customer for life.

The guys at Bill's are great, I've been going there for years and they always remember me. They always ask where I'm going fishing and share what's been working. #1 shop in town for sure!

If i could give a zero star review i would. Brought my reel in for a new arm because mine fell into the water. Full disclosure i didn't get a reciept but didn't find this unusual because a lot of small businesses are like this. And there is an element of TRUST and HONESTY that small businesses usually have to a much higher standard than a corporation would. Anyway, I never got a call back for my 85$ reel. I visited 4 times in a 4 month period (once a month) to see if it was in. Never got my reel back. Don't think i ever will. Will never come here again and will vehemently dissuade anyone i know from doing business with them. Disgusting EDIT: As i said, i know i didn't get a reciept but I would be more than happy to review security camera footage with the owner to prove this

Bill's is my go to for supplies. Small amount of hunting gear, huge selection of fishing supplies and live bait. Can renew your licences and get tags here as well.
