I recently purchased a 2018 328d and a 2016 535i. The first thing I did was take both to Bimmex where James, my service advisor, introduced me to my mechanic, John. The 328 has only 23,000k so it needed nothing except an oil change. The 535 received a complete service inspection by John and then I was invited into the shop to see the areas of concern. I had expressed concern about the way the transmission occasionally shifted hard and John suggested a transmission fluid and filter service flush with a new pan/filter. He could not guarantee that it would fix the problem but it was due to be done as part of regular maintenance. When this did not solve the problem John cleared the transmission's memory and loaded new software. The charge was minimal. He then told me to take the car and drive it so it could learn my driving style. John nailed it! The car drives like new. Thank you James and John for great service. Highly recommended.

Brandon and company were great and perfectly transparent for my first visit at Bimmex. I recently got my first BMW, and they provided me with insight and honest quotes at every step. After calling multiple mechanics, who were rushing to get me off the phone, Bimmex were the only one that listened and asked so many questions to try to pinpoint my problem. Which made me feel confident towing my BMW 535i to them.

Brandon and the the rest of the staff tried to understand the whole problem, did a deep diagnose, and after a day they gave me the full analysis, all the options with prices, and after all this Brandon was honest enuff to talk as a person and not as a mechanic and tell me "we can fix it, but don't waste your money fixing this car" time to move on.

I am amazed by their level of service, knowledge, and love their honesty. If I get another bmw I will def be dealing with them again. They are amazing.

In my opinion I feel this place is severely, shaddy. It took me a while to catch on to their subtle deception. If you don't know too much about your car or your car knowledge is perhaps sparse-the mechanics take advantage of it and REMOVE FUSES from your car. This gives the computer an inaccurate reading. They get you to spend more money on parts/services you don't need. After the job is complete they simply insert the fuse back into your car. I find this deceptive, fraudulent and downright despicable. However, this is my experience-I just feel like Bimmex are modern day swindlers.

BIMMEX staff and technicians have always provided me with the utmost service and advice. Most importantly they are honest about what my car requires or doesn’t require. Unlike some repair shops they take an interest in my 20 year old E46 and keep it running like new. I’ve been a customer for over 15 years and recommend other BMW owners to visit their shop.

Brandon is a service advisor at Bimmex and he was very friendly, educated and informative on BMW vehicles. He went through all the services performed on my vehicle and guided me through the process. He’s respectful and honest.

Misha was the technician who worked on my car and he did a fantastic job of installing all the parts and he even made me aware of some issues that were not easily noticeable. I definitely recommend Bimmex for any of your BMW needs. I will be returning to get some more work done.

Have been using BIMMEX since expiry of my BMW warranty. Knowledgeable and friendly staff Ro and Brendan, backed by their team of expert technicians.

Based on my visits I found their service reliable and advice honest. I recall at least twice I left without being charged. The last visit was to check fluid leakage. Their finding suggested no major work and no charge.

I intend to keep my BMW for a long time and I know BIMMEX will help me achieve my goal.

Bimmex has been servicing our BMW for years and are reliable, courteous and an asset to the community. We had some preventative maintenance done (N55 waterpump, thermostat, and a bunch of other things) and from booking to completion everything went smoothly. My first visit to Bimmex was last year just before the pandemic and got some brake work done. I recently visited them again as I was having concern with the same brakes. There was no warranty provided (they claim 2 years warranty) and I had to spend twice for the same work plus additional expenses because of incorrect recommendation during the first visit. They really disappointed me. I had better expectation based on other reviews.

I always get great service at Bimmex. They have been looking after my daughters 2012 X1, which we bought used, for the last three years. Always a professional and personal experience. Their work keeps my daughters car running flawlessly and gives dad the peace of mind she is driving a well maintained car

I have been coming here for over 10 years and I must say that the service is always great and the price is always right!

Recommended by a friend. Went in for oil change and checkups. Oil change, air filter, coolant flush, oil casket issue. Cost me $2000 and two days.

Two weeks later, smell came out when turned on heat. Had to turned off right away. Due to lockdown, car’s been sitting in my garage. Yesterday, when I tried to sell my car to a potential buyer, car front hood wouldn’t open and smoke came out when engine started. Potential buyer knew what the problem was right away and would only offer me half the price I asked for due to expensive repairs.

Since i paid cash to Bimmex, so there’s no receipt to prove the job done other than their computer record. I am deeply disappointed with what Bimmex did or didn’t do. After paying $2000 and 100km later, my car is worth the same price (or less) before I brought it to Bimmex. Should’ve sold it before letting Bimmex touched it. I didn’t expect perfect job or getting everything fixed in one go, but getting my car safe to drive should be their priority.

My advice: (1) Do not pay cash (2) Bring a friend who knows car (3) or back to dealership

May 6: Update to my earlier review: I received an estimate and feel the team has done enough to warrant my business. Unfortunately due to the delay, the repair work is being handled by another BMW specialist.

April 27: Went in early morning to get an estimate. Was told they were busy and someone would work on the estimate and reach out to me. Went back in before closing and was told the estimate hadn't been finalized but it would be done the following day before noon. Was also told I would be contacted to discuss the estimate.

April 28: No call or estimate.

First impressions say a lot.

Finding a trustworthy mechanic that knows how to service BMW and service well is very difficult. BMW charges an arm and a leg for everything and they do it as a favour.
Bimmex Markham, is hands out, the best BMW service shop in the GTA. Trustworthy, honest, professional and of course, well priced.

Brought my car in to have the following:
Oil change, Cabin filter and door fixed.
What I like: price of oil change and cabin filter (cheaper than mini) and the fact that he got me in the next morning to get this done
What i was not impressed with: Communication - i had to call several time to see if my car was ready on day one, it took 4 hours because they told me they were putting the car back together after verifying part needed. Final time i called he said its ready, but when i retuned, they were still putting it together. They told me to come the Thursday, i happen to call in the morning to see if it was OK, they said the part had not come in, it will be here around 1 (did not show up until 3pm, but no one called to tell me that). Finally part comes in and i say did you order the whole part or it could be something else? Response i got was they ordered the whole part, but they had not opened the door prior. What the hell? The other day i picked up the car, i was told there were putting car together after check the part. I felt i was chasing them, they never called me to advise they were behind, part is not here etc. Door cost me $600 something, mini charged $745. I asked about other items i needed done, some items were cheaper than mini, other more expensive. Overall i give them 7/10, i have not had issues with the work they did.

I came here for a pre-purchase inspection that was paid by another buyer. The gentlemen in the front said my subframe needed to be replaced because there were cracks. The repair would be very costly too. I went to another independent shop and had their master BMW mechanic inspect my vehicle and aside from needing an oil change, everything else was fine. The subframe was not cracked and he actually was in disbelief it could be mistakenly thought to be cracked. Thankfully I went elsewhere for a second opinion.

Another time, many years ago when they had a location beside the Shell Gas Station by 7 and woodbine, I went for an oil change and came out with a $1k+ repair bill where everything else was broken. This happened many times before but unfortunately I did not know of any other BMW independent shops.

Buyer beware, be sure to get repair quotes elsewhere if you are skeptical.

The rear shocks in my car needed replacing and Ro was helpful as always. The technicians do top notch work- the job was done quickly and reliably. Overall great work and great service. Highly recommended.

Over the last few years I have been consistently taking my car to Bimmex for maintenance, repairs and honest opinions. They're a quality shop, which doesn't rip you off. They follow up on service and have even gone out of their way to help me multiple times. Ro (Rohan) in particular was extremely honest with me about repairs I needed to do, and where I could get the best value.
You know what makes a good shop? A team of people who are going to be honest with you about when you need them and when you don't. This is exactly what Bimmex is, and why I will continue to take my car there long into the future.

Once Steve sold Bavarian Motors to these guys a few years ago, service has improved and become more streamlined/professional for sure. Quotes are fair and wayyy below BMW dealerships. No wonder they're the best BMW mechanic shop.

Love this place! It was recommended to me by a friend of mine and now I am recommending it. Rohan was incredibly helpful from the initial phone call all the way through to the pick up. My concerns were listened to and addressed, the repairs were made in a timely fashion and my vehicle was ready when they said it would be ready. The vehicle condition report is amazing. I can't say enough about the professional, courteous experience. Highly recommend

Nice clean modern shop. There is no waiting or seating area. So if you service your car here you'll need to find a place to wait. There is Wendy's within walking distant but not much of anything else. You'll need a ride or long walk to Costco

Brought my 4 series in for pre inspection before purchase and couldn't be happier that I did - the guys at Bimmex did a THOROUGH inspection of the car and even provided a detailed report, which gave me the confidence to make the purchase. If you're looking for a BMW mechanic in Markham and Toronto then I highly suggest you go with Bimmex. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my BMW and I will be a lifelong client.

Update: brought my car in to be serviced for a flat tire. The guys worked their tails off to get me my car back quickly and I am so thankful. Even did a complimentary inspections w/ report. These guys are top notch mechanics and customer service is the best I've ever experienced from a mechanic. Go to Bimmex!

I repair my BMW at this shop since I bought it, extremely competent technicians, friendly staff. I'm very happy every time I service the car there, less cheaper then the BMW dealer and also I trust these people way more than the dealer having bad experience with them.

I just started going to this place recently and quite happy with the service. Service Adviser Nathan was absolutely amazing! He’s friendly, knowledgeably and really took the time to explain things to me along with viable options and recommendations! I highly recommend this place! The facilities are clean and the staff friendly. They did a PPI and some work for me. They were clear with what they found, thought needed fixing bad communicating with me things along the way. Very much recommend

For all the BMW owners, Bimmex is the right place. Nathan who’s works there is very kind and professional. The place is very neat, unlike other shops. Honest with their opinions and suggestions. I had recently my 2006 BMW 550i at Bimmex serviced and I’am very happy about it. Also they give u extended warranties up to 2 years depends what you get done, whereas other shops don’t even offer you for 2 weeks. Me as a customer I am very satisfied and would highly recommend this place to everyone who owns a BMW.

I've gone to this location twice and both times the service has been satisfactory. I have only gone here for oil changes and a power steering flush.

The only thing that made me question this shop is their service recommendation system used after you go there for service. I had my brake flush done 4 months/2000km prior to my oil change with them. The recommendation said my break fluid is "dirty" and needs to be serviced soon. I had it professionally done by a friend who works at Parkview BMW. That part really made me think twice about returning here.

Awful experience, and the worst part is that we didn’t even get far. Bimmex Markham after looking at photos of my car and giving me a quote began to dodge my calls when I attempted to touch base and set up an appointment. Continuously telling me Andrew or whatever his name is was busy and that they’d call me back.it’s been a month and a half and I’ve gotten my car fixed at NV Euro Motor works great place. Still waiting for bimmex to call me back LOL.

Great place for all your BMW service needs! Went in for an oil change and brake fluid flush. Recieved above and beyond service including a full detailed report with pictures of recommended things to change for the future. Bimmex has excellent and knowledgeable staff who know how to cater to enthusiasts! I've been taking my old BMW to them for a while and I'm glad to have an independent mechanic who knows it inside and out.

I have been a customer for a few years now. I went to the brand NEW Markham location for the first time. The facility is located off Woodbine and is gorgeous and clean new building. There are lots of parking outside as well. Great service as always. I was very impressed with the service. Nathan was very courteous! Thank you Nathan and team.

It all started with me looking around for someone that could install parts I had purchased individually (not from dealership) without charging me a premium because I didnt go with their in house products/ parts. Since then Bimmex has been my go to place. The friendliest guys with the best prices and most honest opinion. 2 thumbs up!

I was working with my local garage for regular maintenance of my 335. All was good until it wasn't and the diagnosis of what ailed my machine was beyond their knowledge despite their best efforts.

Enter Alex and his team at Bimmex. Even over the phone their experience was able to guide me in the probable direction and so I shipped her up to them for care. Clear communication, trustworthy advice and great value was what they delivered. Then my 335 back to it's energetic youthful self.

Very professional and skilled mechanics, took my M3 in for a misfire and they were very quick to fix the issue. Ended up in doing a full service on my car with them and everything was done perfectly.
