Well the pool was like an ice bucket cold water challenge it was just to much for me and my grandchildren to handle no note was posted about broken heater until we were leaving they put up note first swim there may never go back again

Busy pool during leisure swim. Love that it has a shallow enough area for our toddler to have enough space to explore and get comfortable in the water. Plenty of life guards on site. Family change room or Unisex change room has many broken lockers and isn't all that clean. I would definitely recommend wearing water shoes or flip flops for in and around the swimming areas.

The pool is shallow but has all these lovely features, there is so much to do at the community Center. It’s really a hub of the community

I love this community centre. It is beautiful, upgraded and has lots of activities offered. The only thing is, it is underused. People need to get their kids out and away from screens and use these amenities. My daughters came here for dance classes. The instructor was dedicated and they are having a great time.

My local community center. I love bringing my daughter here. They have a variety of programs, free and paid, for all ages. Everyone is super helpful. They also have an online system in place where you can register for programs

I enjoyed a afternoon swim with my wife and granddaghter this sunday. I have to say i was very disappointed to find out that due to life guard shortage at the pool they cant open the slide. Also when i was there i took note that the hot tub and sanau both were not working either i never asked why. And just to say my source that told about kife guard shortage was a life gaurd that was on duty. But we still havd the pool and the water was fantastic. Yes it is handycapped equipted and on the first floor.

The spectator stands are in the restaurant! Bring some cash so you can enjoy some eats while watching sports!

They offered free volleyball during Canada Day week and the community at the session were very skilled and amazing to be around!

This is a big pool with lots of space and a great shallow area for kids. Kids area has water spring elephant and a sm. Slide. Deep end has a lg water slide. There are stairs and ladders to get into the pool. There is also a sauna. And a seating area for spectators. Building has been renovated and is very bright and clean, however pool area seems to be untouched and is in need of a few repairs.
Our recent visit this week both slides and elephant were non functioning nor was the sauna. The tiles around the pool are very slippery, changerooms are very smelly, dirty and in need of sprucing up.

The pool as well as the change-room area make it obvious that is has never been cleaned.maintenance staff is obviously not doing their jobs.the pool is otherwise good.

We go there for the indoor pool. The usual stench in the changing rooms is not preventing our repeat visits. So, I guess, it's a safe 4 star.

Went there to vote. Very busy and full of life. Pool looks awesome. Lots of things to do. Get out there and support this venue!

Go place to being they provide lots of activities here like ice skating and swimming. If I'm not mistaking they have daycare and after school program as well. Check it out to learn more.

Friendly staff and well-maintained facility! So much fun for a play/splash Covid day out! Strictly controlled on the patrons number, it has family/universal changing room beside the Female and male change room. Great location and excellent experience! Love it and highly recommended.

Great place for swimming and extra curricular activities. They do a screen check when you walk in for covid protocols and the place itself appears really clean and well kept.

Brichmount Community Center is multipurpose facility. We took our step-granddaughter to play soccer here. She plays for Cherry Beach League, while here I noticed a number of different sports for youth going on.

Great community centre and awesome facilities. Having this centre is a great thing about our community. Loved coming here when I was younger. Hope they’re helping new people as much as the reviews say: I love when new talent lands in Scarborough.

The swimming pool is well heated and great for kids compared to other city swimming pools. Swimming lesson instructors are nice. But swimming facility is sometimes filthy and often shower loses hot water. They are building some extension and I hope it makes the facility a better place.

TTC access is in the premises which is a big advantage for commuters. Pool, basketball arena, multi-purpose hall and bluff room are very spacious and well maintained. This is the first time I'm here but it was the best experiece.

Great swimming pool with a slide for young kids. Change rooms are pretty dark and dingy though. The park outside the facility is great too!

Very crowded, but that's to be expected of a community pool on a summer weekend. Lots of chlorine. Wish there was more of a deep end. Hot tub was a plus, and a sauna was also available. Definitely best suited for kids otherwise!

It's good here life guards r great. Parents should watch their kids. Life guards see child floating away. Cause of careless parents.but other then that it's good here

Newly renovated building with lots of events and rooms for rent. Pool and skating among other things. Pool has jet tub and water slides for adults and children. Toddler pool as well. The negatives are really the change rooms which aren't clean, expected I suppose, but the amount of lockers with mangled lock rings tells me theft is a problem, also the change room doors in the universal change rooms don't have locks. Plenty of free parking out front or behind the buildings. Small playground outside that's cushioned.

The pool and hot tub was great - a fun experience. There were a few mishaps here and there from the amount of people, but overall it was fun. However, the female locker room was unsanitary. I had to basically tip toe my way around the area.

The pool is nice, staff are really nice and knowledgeable. I Like the fact that we are able to use the hot tub after classes. However the female changing room is always so packed and is so small, showers are few, you could wait as long as 10 mins to use the shower. The hallway from the changing rooms to the pool smells really gross for some odd reason. 2 weeks in a row it smelt so bad. I honestly didn’t know this location was this way before I booked it. I’ll like to keep coming but sanitary needs to be improved.

This place has great hours and an awesome accessible community pool space that thrills my daughter.

We use the place for indoor ball hockey when the outdoor rinks are covered. Nice facility for playing inside, in terms of size, floor quality etc. Of note though, the choice of adult length sticks is limited, so if you have a non-wooden bladed stick bring your own. It's only $4 for two hours. A few people not from our group showed up, and only one of them was hyper-competitive.

I've used the pool for lane swimming and the hot tub and sauna. The pool gets a bit crowded, as it was especially on March 9, but normally people are pretty good about it. That day, unfortunately, there was one of those sticklers who refused to just share a lane (we were only two for awhile in the fast lane) and insisted on blasting past me every few lengths. That is not the norm though.

Staff are fantastic, and the facility is lucky to have them.

Swimming area is very cold. Too cold for the kids. They all are shaking when they come out from the pool even adults need to stay in their coats while waiting. Not happy about that part.

This pool is nice with a shallow part and fountains and slides for little kids and a large lane pool with bigger slides, also a hot tub. This place gets so crowded in summer it's unreal though and the pool is dirty - there are bandages and hair floating around like they never clean it. I don't get much of a scent of chlorine either. Lifeguards generally don't seem to be paying much attention either.

The pool and the staff are great. Pool is large with multiple areas for adults and families to enjoy. City-run swim classes are available.
There were recent renovations and additions to the athletic center with new courts and the like, however the pool change rooms were not done and are badly in need of a complete gut and overhaul. Locker area is very tight and not wheelchair-friendly - not even the wheelchair "accessible" family change room. It can be a toss-up whether the showers are hot or cold as sometimes they are stuck on and waste water for hours. Worthwhile to go, but it's definitely in need of some funding love.

Pool varies in temperature (could be a bit warmer and showers in family change room are often cold water) but overall, a great pool for families and young kids

Lots of classes for the kids. Great pool! They just built an add on with a huge gym. We love it here!

My son takes swimming lessons here. Lots of locker space in the locker room. He really likes this place. There's a children's playground outside.

Great local community center with public spaces, full-size pool, and newly built gymnasium. The pool area offers an accessible section with a lift, as well as a shallow kiddie area with warmer water. City-run classes are available throughout the year.

Pool is great for small children. It's warm and shallow. Unfortunately, the men's change room always always had the overpowering stench of urine. The staff never seem to care when it's mentioned to them.

Been coming here for about 5 years now. Great swimming lessons through the city. And the pool is heated, has a great area for the wee ones, and a big water slide for the older kids

Place is great, had a small issue with getting screamed at by a life gaurd but it was over kids dipping and standing in the hot tub area. It's not marked off and the kids (including mine) had a hard time understanding that it was class time not free swim time.
That tub is like a moth to a flame.lol. Some signage would help big time so you don't have to scream at the kids and adults.
I really love the new playground they put in outside and I appreciate big time the way the change room is in the womans area. Some places force you to walk through showers getting totally soaked.
The floors always seem super clean and not slimy like other places.
My kids swim teachers are really nice and my kids seem to be enjoying their classes.
