This was our first stay at Birmingham Manor and we thoroughly enjoyed it! Our room was spacious and comfortable, the three course gourmet breakfast was very tasty and innovative. Elena and Don were most welcoming hosts, and provided helpful informations about Stratford, its restaurants, stores, plays. A wonderful find. We will come again!

If you are traveling to Stratford for theatre or any other reason, the Birmingham Manor should be your place to stay. For about ten years we have stayed at the Birmingham Manor, five days each year and we have always been amazed at how well we were treated. Elena and Dom are excellent hosts, friendly and caring. The rooms are immaculately cared for and the beds are very comfortable. First-class breakfast is served each morning with food prepared by the loving hand of Elena who is an excellent cook. The hosts are well informed on the plays which are being performed each year and can answer any questions you might have about them. We have enjoyed each stay at Birmingham Manor and look forward to next year when we will again enjoy the comforts of this wonderful B&B. We highly recommend the Birmingham Manor to everyone.

This was mine and my daughters first time staying at a Bed & Breakfast. And the experience was wonderful. Dom and Elena were the perfect hosts. They took the time to show us around, and give us a bit of history on their home. And their home was beautiful, the character, workmanship and history was enchanting. The garden, the property, all so charming!

Having stayed at a few different bed and breakfast establishments, Birmingham Manor is by far my favorite. The breakfast is excellent, the home is impeccably clean and beautifully decorated. Most importantly, Elena and Dom are wonderful hosts who really strive to make your stay as comfortable as possible. It is also convenient that they are within walking distance into town and have parking spaces available in the driveway for their guests. I wish we had time to stay longer.

Spent a weekend here for a mother daughter trip, what an amazing B&B! The rooms are charming and Elena and Dom are perfect hosts, who went above and beyond to make our time as comfortable as possible, from an amazing fresh breakfast and coffee in the morning to being at the ready to explain some of the beautiful antiques around the home. I had a lovely stay and highly recommend if you are looking to relax at a beautiful B&B.

Our room was immaculate and comfortable. The 3-course breakfasts were gourmet quality and beautifully presented. Also: for coffee lovers - you won't be disappointed! Beautiful house. Comfortable beautifully decorated room and amazing breakfast! It has been three years since we’ve been to the Birmingham and It was so wonderful to see Dom and Elena again! They are very knowledgeable about the plays and productions at the Stratford festival and are happy to assist guests with advice about plays in restaurants. It is close enough to all the theaters to be able to walk And lots of good restaurants not too far away.

Elena and Dom are great hosts who made us feel comfortable and welcome. The rooms are beautifully appointed in a grand old Stratford home. The breakfasts were excellent and we enjoyed sitting on the porch as a respite in our days.

Dom and Elena are perfect hosts with a love for the Festival. The rooms are very comfortable and the breakfasts are a highlight for the food and discussion of the productions.

Everything about the Birmingham Manor is top shelf. The moment you walk in, you’re greeted by the two most gracious hosts, you notice the extreme attention to detail in the decorating, overall comfort and cleanliness. The amazing food is professionally prepared by your hosts and served with much care and warmth. I highly recommend a getaway to this B and B.

My girlfriend and I enjoyed a wonderful stay at Birmingham manor! Elena prepared an incredibly charcuterie board for us when we arrived that thoughtfully accounted for our dietary restrictions. Our room was charming, very clean, and so comfortable - we were sad to only be there one night. Breakfast was an experience! Absolutely delicious and a very lavish way to start our day in Stratford. We will absolutely be returning.

The house is just a 10-15 minute walk to the town center, so you're not far from the shops and restaurants. Really enjoyed our weekend away. Would recommend.

Great hosts! Breakfast were fantastic and always exciting. Located in a quiet part of town but restaurants and more were all in easy walking distances. Rooms were very comfortable and had great sleeps very comfortable beds. Looking forward to our next visit and would highly recommend Birmingham Manor to all our friends

Our stay at Birmingham Manor B&B was absolutely wonderful. Our hosts were very friendly, informative, and attentive. You could tell they really cared about their B&B and guests. The bedroom was very clean and comfortable, the breakfast was healthy and delicious, and the historical house was most impressive (especially the monarch butterfly nursery). Staying here was a really lovely part of our Stratford experience.

Had a chance to stay for a night for a brief getaway. Beautiful, well-kept room and house. Breakfast was delicious, 3 courses and homemade. Would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I had the absolute pleasure of staying at the Birmingham Manor BnB and were the first guests since it had re-opened after the latest round of COVID-19 lockdowns. We had originally planned our stay in May but due to the extension of restrictions it needed to be moved to June. This was our initial positive experience with Elena as she was so flexible and accommodating in arranging a different date for us to stay.

Cycling

We cycled from Kitchener for our stay and one of the reasons we chose Birmingham Manor was the secure, locked garage where we could safely store our bikes. They provided us with a garage opener so we could take our bikes out at any time. The manor is conveniently located at an easy walking distance to the downtown area and restaurants, so we ended up leaving our bikes locked up for the majority of our stay, while we explored on foot.

The Space

The manor itself is just lovely! The owners have decorated the entire space so beautifully with such interesting (and often theatre-themed) decor. There was always something to look at and appreciate, no matter what room we were in. Our bedroom was very comfortable and well furnished. The bathroom was modern and had all of the toiletries you could need for a stay.

The Food

Another reason we chose to stay at the Birmingham Manor was the three-course breakfast, and it did not disappoint! We were treated to a course of fresh fruit, a savoury main course, and home baked scones for dessert. The food was all delicious and beautifully presented and gave us the energy for our bike ride home.

The Hosts

Elena and Dom were the most considerate hosts. They had a treat waiting for us when we arrived, were thoughtful about refilling our water bottles with ice just before our bicycle ride home, and shared wonderful stories about their time as BnB owners.

Concluding Thoughts

We cannot think of a single thing that could be improved about our stay. Everything really was just perfect. My only recommendation is to stay more than one night, especially if you have not been to Stratford before! There is a lot to do, see, and eat in the area, and the Birmingham Manor is the perfect home base to experience it all. We plan to be repeat guests!

Elena and Dom made their lovely B&B feel like home instantly! The rooms are beautiful and ornate, and the B&B is a short drive or walk to downtown and the festival theatre. We will definitely be back!

We travelled to Stratford and found this gem to stay at and it was one of of the best B & B's I have every stayed at! The hosts, Elena and Dom are very accommodating from the room details, food allergies, to the time you check in, they go above and beyond to bring you the best experience. This place has everything, from the period decor, to the amazing hosts to the 3 course breakfast. The rooms are luxurious, the outside porch is a magical spot to enjoy a glass of wine and the living room is a great place to reflect and have a quiet moment. It is very close to downtown and checks off all of the boxes to bring you the greatest experience ever!

Found this place several years ago and is one of the top bed and breakfast places in Stratfod. Elena and Dom are wonderful hosts and their breakfasts are wonderful and delicious. They are always trying out new dishes. Attentive hosts that have a wonderful turn of the century house with original details and decor. I cannot recommend a stay here enough. Make sure you book early as they always fill up quickly.
