What happened is just not acceptable. We had party at our place so we ordered a veg shahi paneer biryani bucket but instead we’re served a non vegetarian chicken biryani. All of us are strictly vegetarian and have never touched meat in our life. We felt something unusual with the protein in our biryani so we tried to check it and it turned out to be a piece of chicken instead of paneer. This is just not acceptable. I would never recommend this place to any vegetarians EVER unless they’re comfortable eating chicken.
Extremely rude, informed us after an hour that our food order never arrived.although when they finally checked they saw that it had and they just never bothered to respond to it. Should not have things on their website that they don't have in store, or at least respond to receiving the order to let us know within a reasonable time. They were not busy at all, just sitting there on their phone, so very frustrating.
Always doesn’t want to give correct amount of raita! Order bucket of 3 people 1 big raita. Order bucket for 5 people 1 big raita!? 1 big raita equals 3 single portion raita- thats what they said. And front customer service is bad. Very bad! I am wondering how much they would be saving money for not giving raita’s in good quantity
Got a single regular chicken biryani take out and they gave 3 eggs in it.and there were like 3 to 4 small chicken pieces.cheating customers by charging for chicken but actually giving eggs.would give literally 0 stars.
Hands down best biryani in scarborough. The quality and taste is close to indian style My fav biryani is palnadu paneer and palnadu chicken biryani. It’s only take out place and if you buy a tray of biryani don’t forget to ask about complimentary drink.
This restaurant must have been going nuts or either the chefs are completely stupid. I ordered kaju mushroom biryani but I received 4 big sized chicken pieces in it. If you are not even paying attention or giving respect to all kinds of food eaters, don’t run a restaurant business. At this point of time, I am utterly disappointed rather than furious on the restaurant chefs.
We planned for New year 2023 but it t turned out Holy festival. After eating the biryani the food colour they use will be on your fingers for atleast 2 to 3 days. Hand sanitizer, soap nothing worked before their food colour.
Hi everyone…we have ordered two small trays of biryani for the new year party we ordered it at 4 picked it up at 7 on 31st worth $120 by the time we are waiting to eat it at 10 the food got spoiled completely when I called back to inform the same regarding the issue with the receptionist she never gave the name and has been very rude to me instead told that food is only good until 2hrs from the package…so guys be very careful while taking the orders from here because of the customer service she didn’t even care to apologize and disconnected my call on my face whoever is the manager kindly look into this worst experience ever… I don recommend it to anybody if you guys stop ordering from here these guys will change soon with their customer service and be kind when they speak
We tried this place after a lot of hype it had created. We tried palakkadu biryani but felt flavours were too off & most importantly rice was true dry. Biryani has to be moist enough.but sadly, this was not the case. Waste of $16.
Nice restaurant for Biryani. Just got a boneless chicken biryani & veg biryani and it was amazing. Portion was good and the two staff members working at the front counter were nice as well. They greeted us and were friendly. Thank u
Very disappointed with the biryani. I had 4 biryani biryani and it was just plain rice with very little spices/masala. I spend $58 for biryani and just got rice for it. Called the store to let them know and they said that the manager will reach me, but never heard from the manager. The other outlet that I tried from (Kitchener) was way better. Strongly advise everybody to avoid this location.
I have ordered panner biryani but it seems to be very old one rice was very hard with all the dried out masala. They gave me just hard plain rice with paneer peices. It's not at all an eatable one.
We have also orderd the chicken fried rice and it looks fresh and tasty, but I don't understand why they need to give the spoiled ones to customers.
To be honest, the quality of biryani they provide here is just amazing and it tastes delicious. I liked the customer service they provide at Biryani Wala, the front end person was really helpful and friendly. I come all the way from London to Toronto just to eat biryani from here. Overall, excellent customer service and awesome biryani quality.
This is what they called the Ghee Roast kaju chicken biriyani. No ghee, no kaju. Waste of time and money. Overly hyped and not a worthy biriyani maker. I have made up mind on not to prefer this restaurant at any of their branches. Very disappointed with their ethics and front reception.
I ordered for many times here! The any type of chicken biryani in a tray! The food is really average. They give more chicken pieces and less rice in biryani and food is little greasy.
Amazing food with options for vegetarians as well. Love their Veg Kofta Biryani, Bagara Baigan. Mutton Biryani and gravy are always amazing. Pricing is very reasonable and portions are generous. BUT they're seriously understaffed at front counter. Crazy wait times and no answers to phone calls
Their chicken fry biryani is just 3-4 pieces of bone. They gave us 3 pieces of bone from 3 different chicken thighs. $16 for bones is the new normal for this business.
Very bad customer service and I have ordered ghee roast chicken biryani but I think should buy a microscope before buying biryani to check for cashews very poor quality, don’t know why the people have created that hype for not at all worth biryanis, not at all suggestable
Ordered biryani from here many times but not getting sufficient salan as I mentioned to them many times but not responding and giving the same quantity. They even removed notes from the Uber so I called them directly but they are not willing to give me enough salan. Hope management look into this as you will lose more and more customers if you continue doing this.
I always get Raju gari kodi biryani, taste is good, but increased 3$ which is way expensive for biryani dishes and less chicken in it… management should look in to pricing again…. Unhappy about the price and quantity… all my friends thinking of an alternate
Authentic Hyderabad food. This was my first time. Tried chicken hyderabadi dum biryani, some chkn curry and mixed grill. Everything was tasy and serving was big. Will definitely try other items.
Fabulous takeout place. Since it was our first time, the staff recommend we get the Polnadu & Kaju Ghee Roast biryani - both were amazing. They also have freshly made chicken puff pastries which were also really good.
Very bad experience; I was told that food will be ready in 30 to 35 mins but I had to wait 1hour to get my food this is after paying for the food in store. I was literally waiting for 1 hour in the restaurant to get just 2 Briyani.
Their fry chicken biryani is just bone pieces of three or four chicken thighs, no meat. If you called them, they will tell you that’s boned chicken thigh cut in 3 or 4 pieces. They gave us bones of 3 separate chicken thighs. We paid $16 for bone pieces.
We ordered the dragon chicken and mutton dum Biryani.the dragon chicken was really nice but the Biryani was rice with cubes of meat. It was really dry and didn't have any flavours close to being a Biryani. We were pretty disappointed including our guests.
Just the hype. Order ghee roast kaju chicken biryani. 80% plain rice no masala nothing. $16 waste of money. Other pakistsni restaurants biryani taste way better than you guys. And at cheaper price.
Very disappointing, ordered Shahi Chicken Briyani- that was unflavouful and extremely greasy. And Chicken Tikka was definetly not Chicken Tikka.overall terrible experience.ordered thru uberEats.will never be eating from here again.
Best biryani that I have eaten in Toronto. Tried variety of restaurants but here the food quality is very good. Tried dynamite chicken and dragon chicken starters and both are really good. Only complaint is that all the starters that i have tried almost taste the same.
CHICKEN MUGHALAI BIRYANI “MUST TRY” in this restaurant. I personally recommend this restaurant because each and every time when I order a biryani from this place they won’t disappoint me. Keep it up guys you guys are the best.
I ordered mutton dum biryani on Monday afternoon, it was worst, and not cooked properly, pieces of mutton smells very bad, every time I will take from this restaurant but this time Biryani was worst.
Best biryani in Toronto. The real Hyd chicken dum biryani had a great flavor. Had long wait hours but the customer service rep handled my anger with patience. Looking forward to visiting soon.
We have visited this place for the first time and we were not disappointed. The papdi chat, pani puri and bhel puri. The taste was so amazing that, i still kept drooling for the food even after leaving the place.
Not many healthy options.many of them are deep fried or come with potato chips as a side. The paneer burger was weird. It was a gooey mess on a burger bun. The grilled cheese sandwich options were pretty good though. The chicken had quite a bit of cartilage, but at least it was tasty.
Amazing food! Especially Irani chai has true authentic hyderabadi flavor. Chicken biryani is good too. Only complaint i have is about spice levels in the food. Spicy level is not ideal for those who are not used to spicy food. I would suggest to have different spicy levels based on customer.
Amazing Street food at reasonable prices for a good quantity! The quality is good however I think there could be a bit improvement in finishing touch - eg: veg sandwich was very delicious but the sauce/veggies slipped out; may be the sauce could be thickened? Other than that, it's a must try place for a typical street food taste! ️
Me and my friends were at this pace we ordered chicken pakoda, mirchi Bujji, lollypops, punugulu This is the best food I had in Toronto.the ambience over there reminds me of Hyderabad.great job guys amazing food both quality and quantity satisfies customers.friends I strongly recommend this place, it deserves a visit.
Chicha 's remember home town street food i dont know pupil who write negative reviews please advice them instead promoting negative review online. These guys try their best to give same taste like back home
Note: whoever complaint put ur legs in their shoes
Highly inconsistent. When the restaurant started initially, the quantity was very good. Everything has changed just in the span of two months.
Here are some examples- 1- Veggie Burger in January had Aloo tikki or some sort of patty with Onions, tomatoes for around 8$ and the taste was amazing. Now Veggie Burger comes with just tomatoes and onions, no patty for same price. When I asked the server, she replied the recipe has changed.
2. Chicken Burger in January came with ground chicken, tomatoes, onions, and just tasted like the bakery burger in India. Now this comes with couple of chicken tikka pieces only. When we come back, we expect the same taste and recipe, but the recipe keeps changing all the time.
The staff are friendly and welcoming though, but food needs consistency.
